A great deal of respect for Changing clutches on the floor and for making a good quality video of the task. Most people won't appreciate how difficult a job this is even on a ramp let alone on the floor. Also the knowledge you have of the different vehicle types etc. Once again ultimate respect for what you do.

    Hi mr WILLIAMS.
I just want to thank you from France.
I could change a clutch on my 2005 Ford mondeo 2.2 TDCI thanks to you.
The 2005 Ford mondeo 2.2 TDCI and the 2007 2.0TDCI ZETECH videos were very helpfull.
I take my time, and now it's done.
The way you shoot your videos are so precious and detailed.
So thanks a lot, you do a great job under a car, but an another one as much great to filming your job, cut it, and upload it on youtube.
Un grand merci pour vos vidéos et votre partage!
    Kind regards

Absolutely amazing, I have the Mondeo, had a few clutches done and never a popular job because of the sub frame needing to be lowered, it's usually The DMF that goes on these as you will know. Next time it starts to go then I'll be coming to you for a quote for sure. I'm not a mechanic but I'll attempt most things, slowly, you have my utmost respect for what you do and you put most garages to shame.

J'ai une ford mondeo mk3 1.8 essence, juste pour info si on démonte le berceau, on doit refaire un parallélisme complet du fait que celui-ci n'est plus centré, sur votre vidéo, on voit beaucoup de fuite d'huile même sur la boîte, le joint spi est a vérifié et à changé si celui-ci fuit. i remember owning a Peugeot 405 sri with a knackered clutch and i booked it in with my local garage. when i got the car back my mechanic told me that i got my money's worth out of the old one. the clutch was worn down to the rivets and the release bearing was just a molten lump of metal. he asked me how i managed to change gear and i said i adjusted the clutch as far as i could with a spanner but ended up having to match the revs but ultimately ended up with a bit of crunching!

Currently trying to put the gearbox back in on a 2006 2.2TDCI 6speed but it just won't slide in for some reason, any ideas what could be causing this?

Gearbox drains in those positions are designed to make you get it all over yourself and stink of gear oil until you retire
