I feel like this one was for me because I asked you to come and do my MK4 Mondeo but I was too far away, So I really appreciate this. Thanks Kev, great video as always.
@@WMCS thank you Kev that is very kind. I’m considering having a go myself but I’m not as young as I used to be (lol obviously). Nervous about lowering the sub frame and also getting the drive shafts out without damaging the threads.
Your fantastic videos have become even better with the addition of the overlay text giving us the fastener sizes and how to tips. Thank you so much for your immensely detailed videos and for the time and effort you put into each one. You are an absolute superstar.!! All the very best. Mike

Saludos!

Hi Kevin, Thank you for your interesting video's! Got a question, maybe you can answer it. I have to change the a faulty gearbox. Got Peugeot 206, after the controlarms are replaced by SKF ones, I can't bent the control arms low enough to get the pin of the ball joint out of the steering knuckle. The steering knuckle stands approxemitly 2 inch lower than the top of the pin of the ball joint of the control-arms in the lowest possible position. Can you tell me how to get this done? Loosen up the subframe a bit? Jack up the strut (looks dangerous with al that tension)?
Either slacken the suspension arm bolts. Then you need a long lever bar. Otherwise easiest safest method for a non professional is slacken subframe bolts and lever the whole lot down.
@@WMCS Thank you for your reply! Do you know with how many subframe bolts the subframe is attached to the car and do you loosen the subframe at both sides at the same time or only the side you are working at?
The captions are a big plus, really appreciate how much work goes into making this content
It’s brill 🤗
Thank you you so much for the kind gesture it’s been well received and very much appreciated
Kind regards

He make it look so easy these gearbox are not light top man ive done a few
Always great to hear from someone that’s done the time 🍻🍻🍻
Looks nearly as difficult as that civic 2.2 idtec you did! Nice work.
My cap is doffed again sir, great videos as always.
Brother you are a genius!!!

Good vid buddy, but your tools are getting wrecked in that weather 😮
They’ve been going for about 10 years now… eventually when one breaks I replace it. 🍻🍻🍻
since you have broke the liquid clutch line, do you need to bleed it? or you did the bleeding but did not show in this video. Thanks.
That’s correct. I will show fully next week.
But you can go on the channel playlist available for subscribers to check for yourself. 🍻🍻
Just done Opel Movano clutch this week....and broken the Milwaukee m12 extended ratchets virginity...😂...
They’re a bit fruity ain’t they them ratchet.

Hi,where you buy clutch?
I use Eurocarparts. A lot of times I order directly from LUK in Europe.
As long as you don’t mind it doesn’t matter… it’s a case of being very comfortable with discomfort. 🍻🍻
Are you okay Kevin?, I emailed for a quote for some work, but the auto-reply states you were involved in an accident... hope all is well buddy.
Thankyou for your understanding. I’m still in early stage of recovery.. really appreciate you contacting us. 🍻
@@WMCS Get well soon fella, really sorry to hear about your accident, that is awful news.
