The real reason why this standard of driving is becoming prevalent is the lack of police patrol cars enforcing the law. The police aren't interested in preventing accidents just investigating after the event.
You give conflicting views. Your first point 'lack of Police patrol cars' is very true - there simply are not enough of them. Many are not pursuit trained either. And more than you think are not even allowed to use blue lights. Remember the Tories cut 20k officers. Experienced officers with a long history of training. Mentors are spread too thin and the backlog for training in the stages of driving is measured in years. There is no quick fix. As for not interested - that bit is BS. Nothing would satisfy officers more than quick and easy traffic stops compared to the self harm and domestic abuse that are the bread and butter responses. Babysitting people who have mental health issues and waiting 8 hours for an ambo. Or taking statements from various parties, spending hours documenting it only to be told the victim won't press charges after all because their other half will change this time. OK, I've been riding since the age of 10 and I am now 61, to say your statement "almost died" is complete rubbish. You had plenty of time, slow enough speed and he did move over way before any evasive action would have been needed. I spent 14 years as a motorcyle crash trainer (essentially teaching people how to avoid and/or survive a crash by managing that crash) and your situation and your video title tells me you have little confidence in your abilities as a rider and probably would benefit from a good crash and/or safetry course.
Ultra wide-angle digital lens up to a 177° field of view on my gopro. Google it and do the maths before you comment and embarrass yourself again sir, I'm saying this with the utmost respect. God bless you Michael, ride safe and stay off the internet. Have a lovely day 👍
amaai you where lukky
You must be a new rider...this is happening more often than you would think.
That's far from almost dieing..
What a disgusting comment. A motorcyclist lost his life this weekend at a very similar scenario when a car driving on the wrong side crashed into him. Everyone dead. Shame on you.
@@JoBikerbonnie It's not. A car on the wrong side of the road happens really often - I have that nearly every time I go for a ride.
Your video is just clickbait.
Language, Timothy!
On his phone or a Frenchie -_-
Defo something like that
Not really a close call at all. The driver was, no doubt, in your lane but you had plenty of time and space. He was driving poorly and dangerously, but you weren't in danger and overreacted to the situation. There are bad drivers all over, better get used to it because if you get like this every time, you'll drive yourself into a psychotic state.
The van was nowhere near the rider, this is fuss about nothing.
The van driver went wide to avoid potholes which can be seen in the video
Ultra wide-angle digital lens up to a 177° field of view on my gopro. Google it before you comment. You're welcome Simon. I just saved you a few blushes for next time 👍
Please! Bit of a drama queen aren't we. That wasn't that close.
The title of this video is worse than the driver on their phone.
Thanks for the comment sis.
Take away that Driving License from that f***** car driver
Nothing particularly unusual here . That sort of shit happens all the time
LOL you didn't almost die. That wasn't even close. I've had that lots of times.
Ah yes, there it is. Another one that doesn't know the difference between a super wide angle lens and human vision. They walk amongst us! 😫🤣🤣 More school and less youtube mate, stop embarrassing yourself 👍🏻
You need to get out more 😎
Was there a dangerous ghost that you can only see what was the dangerous moment I’m confused
Ah you probably missed it sis. No worries. Watch it again. As many times as you need to sweetie 👍🏻
Slight exaggeration...
Made you watch sis 😂
Only God, by his Holy Spirit and His angels can protect you on a motorcycle. Psalms 91 is the prayer of protection, but it’s not a normal prayer. It’s a contract or covenant.. You must say out loud, that God is your protector to invoke all the protections below in that psalm.
Of course you have to be a Christian, where the Father, the Son and Holy Spirit lives inside of you for any of this to work… 😇 and of course you must have Faith..🙏🏻
God has protected me for 47 years of riding. God can protect you on a motorcycle as easy as sitting at home on the couch. God bless you all.🙏🏻
You're obviously a novice. It wasn't even close to being dangerous. This sort of thing happens regularly, when you're on a motorcycle.
Sure Jan 🤣🤣🤣
You like to exaggerate a lot innit ?
Thanks for the comment queen! 😅
u ride so slow
and the clown comment of the day goes to ⬆
@@JoBikerbonnie Ironic as a clown on a tricycle would outpace you!
Drama queen 👍
Thanks for the comment baby girl.😘
@@JoBikerbonnie thanks for the comments dear friend im not a baby girl,, im an experienced rider and i can confirm that u r a drama queen no heart feeling 😘😘
Drive safe
@@LKESBO Cool story sis. You might want to google "Ultra wide-angle digital lens up to a 177° field of view" A bit embarrassing you think human vision is the same as a camera lens 🤣🤣🤣But hey you learnt something new today. You're welcome sweetie.
@@JoBikerbonnie have a nice day Mr drama queen 😘👍
The day I over reacted…
