Please do a video on your favourite Vanillas! 🧁🧁🧁 I didn’t like Vanilla at first, because I wore it too much when I was young and those sweet cheap Vanillins can be so sugary. Now that I’ve started my fragrance journey, I have a whole new appreciation and Vanilla de Tahita sounds so good! 🙌 🙌 🙌 😍😍😍 😋😋😋
I am also throwing in my vote for a vanilla video! I love vanilla all year! I would be curious to hear more about your environment and how the vanilla perfumes behave where you are and on you (is it hot, does it get humid?). My favorite summer vanilla is Olympea Intense by Paco Rabanne. It is dark and heavy, but it makes me think of a memory from when I was just four years old (scent memory) when my family was immigrating, and we stayed in Italy in a small town near the sea, for a short while. The roads were dusty and hot, the gelato was sweet and delicious and the scent of the salt from the sea hung heavy in the air. I can't get enough of it, but only in the summer when the dry heat (where I am now) bakes it on my skin.
Thanks for one - upping my awareness level! I've not come across Perris Monte Carlo and Vilhelm Perfumery here ever - that's one of the perks of living in Europe 💞. Please do make that Vanilla video, would love your take on it because here where I live people wear vanilla all the time but I never find it cloying or overpowering, I dunno, maybe we got used to it. It remains just as beautiful that's for sure. Packaging of Moon Carnival is gorgeous and quite unusual. 10/10!

Hi there. Thanks for the video! Do you think that Moon Carnival and Southern Bloom have Ambroxan in them? It might not be listed in the notes but if you know the smell you should be able to tell? It’s very strong in Bacarat Rouge for example, and I just can’t tolerate it! Anyway any feedback much appreciated Moon Carnival and Southern Bloom sounds like fragrances that I might enjoy sampling.
I want to see some fun things on those shelves.. I love the Replica scents and I will try to find that one to try! I have 100 ml of By the Fireplace which smells like a sauna to me- love it! Love Angels’ Share! I am saving it for Fall mostly but I wore it 2 or 3 afternoons ago and it lasted the WHOLE NIGHT! I woke up at 4 AM- still there. Then when I got up at 7:30- still there! Very nice haul! Tell us about the Wilhelm after you try it more!
