@@johnburgin7478 Hey brother, doing good. Boys are starting teething, so nights are interesting at the moment. Hopefully be back out there after they settle in. Hows things your way?
Could cover a dance floor with that rascal. Was going to ask about the tie outs but you answered it . Sticks out a bit in full sun but that would probably help reflect the sun a little. Cool review. Stack it high and deep . Have a great evening brother
Thanks brother. The tarp is huge. It is a bit bright in the sun, but do really like the camo for winter. Doing what we can here. Have a good one my friend
I'm definitely going to check this one out, especially the 15 x 15 .. it'll be right at home here in the Florida woods! Thanks for sharing this brother!🤙🤝🤙
Hi Jess, good to see you again. Nice tarp, I like that you can fully enclose it. I've had an Aqua Quest Defender tarp in woodland camo on my wishlist for quite awhile now. 👍⛺
Dude…that tarp is hugemongous. Cool print. I use aqua quest ultralight woodland for last 5 years. Bulletproof. I’d love to see a video with the dogs. Kit them out with dog backpacks to carry lightweight gear. Security. Never seen them before. Look like beautiful canines. D😎🇺🇸
Thanks brother. It is a great tarp. I had it hung up all summer for the kids to play under. The stitching isn’t as good as the defender series. One of the tie outs pulled up a bit recently, but that was after 90+ days of continuous use (and an easy fix).
Nice tarp Jess! That's the advantage with larger tarps vs smaller tarps - more configuration options! Downside is weight and bulk vs a smaller tarp. And I really like using their 10x13 Defender tarp, in woodland camo!
Thanks James! Definitely a plus having the extra options. Weight and bulk comes with the territory. 10x13 would be perfect. Defender is such a good tarp. Cheers my friend.
great variations on tarp flying. This would be an awesome overloading tarp. Great video as always. Sorry Ive been away a while...but thoroughly enjoyed this video
@@EnduranceRoom I meant overlanding lol but autocorrect didn’t. But I guess overlanding is just overloading for camping haha. Perhaps we’ve stumbled on a new camping genre 😂
Awesome tarp configurations 👍 I have the 10x10 and 15x15 Safari tarps and never any issues with then, well constructed to last yrs. I use the Adirondack setup, plenty of room and great protection from the elements. Thanks for the share Brother 👊💥👊
Thank you sister! Doing good here. Interesting days though. Been checking the Schumann resonance. Its really going wild. Be blessed and have a good one!
Thank you for showing this tarp and the variations to put it up. The last version i really have to try, complet enclosure? Never thought this is possible! ^^ But i got a question: With all the open variations, what do you do about mosqitos und ticks? In my area they are quite a problem so most of the time i need an extra meshtent with my tarp. Are the not such a problem in your area, or do you have secret weapon to keep them at bay? Greetings from Germany!
Thank you! The mosquitoes are usually pushed away by the campfire. Sometimes I will use a bivvy bag or light cloth to cover up my head while sleeping if bugs are an issue, but typically they are active early night and early mornings. Bugs are pretty bad here too. For ticks, I found if I stay out of tall grass or bushes, that I don’t have too many problems with them. If I get one, I pick it off. If they are in less than 24hrs, it is usually not an issue. Cheers
great video i have a question do you think the grey aqua quest defender would be good for urban stealth camping in winter and its snowy here .... thanks
Yes, grey, brown or even this boulder camo would be good. The biggest thing is setting up something that is low profile, low to ground, irregular shape, and in a good location.
I have the 10x10 defender for a couple years now, been looking at the 15x15 for a while now. What pitches would you think would be best for 4 bodies in cold weather and is the 15' large enough? Thanks.
15x15 is huge. You can make so many pitches with it. I would recommend the Defender over the Safari if weight isn’t a concern. It is just a much sturdier build. Checkout Pappa Hiker’s channel. He has a ton of excellent pitch tutorials.
Good timing I just bought a Aquaquest Defender tarp 10x10 it kinda blew my mind it weighs 3.5lbs my AQ safari guide is only 1.5lbs I was debating this camo toooo!! How you doing brotha😁✌️💚✊️🔥
@@EnduranceRoom hear that I've become so weight conscious with my age lol I'm looking into Mountain Laurel Design ultralight tents and bivy atm peace bro!!😁✌️💚✊️🔥
@@v1ktorr124 Initially, when I moved I lost my supply, a local farm. Recently I have just been listening to my body, and it is telling me to eat lighter foods. I am working on cleaning out metals that have accumulated over time. It is put in a lot of foods, meats also.
@@EnduranceRoom I think Aajonus mentioned somewhere that if you consume the animal products raw, any heavy metals will pass straight through you. He even done experiments with wild caught and farmed fish with interesting results. I am also working on clearing out heavy metals out of my body, in particular mercury as I had 2 amalgam fillings which were safely removed not long ago however the journey doesn't end there as now it's time to remove this shit from deep within my tissues and glands :/ Is there a specific protocol you are doing for detoxing heavy metals? Or any specific supplements / herbal remedies / whatever else you can recommend so I can research? ;)
@@v1ktorr124 Aajonas was awesome. I am drinking warm lemon water with cilantro in it pretty regularly. Recently found a company called the Root Brands.
