My favorite part of this video was knowing Jenna got every single person wrong from the start and watching her in full confidence guess incorrectly repeatedly

Jenna saying “I can’t believe I did so BAD” cracks me up. It’s almost like, in real life, people aren’t walking, talking stereotypes. Go figure. XD
What’s funny is most of them 100% were and she guessed against the stereotypes. Hell fine dude at the end was gay just as the stereotype she thought.
Jenna’s basically constructed her entire understanding of queer identity off of white, queer, internet experiences and that’s why she got it all wrong 😭

@@fairy5668 on God.
That was so rude. Glad she did not guess any!
Very quick to judge someone when you have no idea if they had a 10 minute conversation that was cut out of the video. The comment section on this video is full of people shitting on her for "being rude" but in the same breath writing horrible things about her. If you want to judge someone's entire character based off a 10 minute, edited video, then so be it but you're just as immature and grossly self righteous.
Jenna's methods were definitely the most entertaining, but Brock crushed it with just being considerate and genuinely interested in the individual participant and I love that.

The way Jenna literally was serving some buzzfeed quizz vibes. All questions were just based on pop culture references and what not and I feel the need to say this, YOU DONT HAVE TO BE VALIDATED BY STEREOTYPES IN ORDER TO BE LGBT. You are not less of a lgbt person just because you don’t know the L word, are dating someone from the opposite gender, dress a certain way,...
You are who you are AND WE LOVE YOU AND SEE YOU, whoever you are ❤️
I was friends with a gay couple for years who didn't act or dress stereotypically gay. We had the same hobbies and interests practically everywhere except what we were attracted to. We went to concerts, they gym and comic conventions together and I worked with one of them. Stereotypes don't designate sexuality
Ong. I'm pretty openly bi/queer and I don't think I fit any of her stereotypes. If it was up to Jenna the only way I'd be actually queer is the fact that I'm dating somebody who isn't a woman lmao.
Definitely a message that needs to be heard because when I first "came out", this was what I struggled with the most, the fact that I acted differently to other gay people
Sierra is like a little sun, autumn sun. She has such a warm vibe, super beautiful energy

That seriously made me so happy!!! It kind of gave me a little spark of hope.
The dude listened and asked deep questions and then, not only guessed correctly, but guessed something most people have never heard of correctly. When she was explaining it to the girl who based everything off stereotypes, she started by explaining it as asexual and then demisexual
Jenna’s questions were literally so targeted towards the white gay experience- I hope in the future she unpacks that

she seriously was surprised she got none right even though she somehow was the most close minded out of all of them😭 you can’t just stereotype everybody
And she will hopefully learn that from this, that's the whole point of these vids
I think pop culture is a huge part of queer culture but I think Jenna focused too much on that instead of asking personal questions so she went for more stereotypical answers. Idk maybe she did ask personal questions and they cut that out but from what I saw I think that’s why she ended up getting them all wrong lmao.
Exactly!!! I think in the queer community, there are a lot of stereotypes about how gay are you based on what music do u listen to or how are you dressed etc. I think this is wrong because being queer is about being true to yourself no matter what and no clothes or music can define you, I also find these stereotypes are very offending and shouldn’t be coming from the queer community, because I believe being queer is walking in a path that is different from the stereotypes
@@ghadirabumiddain5330 being queer is about sexual and romantic attraction. It's about a primitive instinct that has nothing to do with personality
Brock associating Pansexual with Demisexual wasn't actually that wrong! I never thought about that before but it's actually both based on being attracted to the person and isn't primarily attached to the gender. Both definitions differ in a lot of ways, but I was surprised when he put them together and I thought lik "huh, that kinda makes sense..."
I thought that was super cool too! I’d never conceptualized them that way, but the thought process makes a lot of sense. The ace and pan communities also sometimes joke that we’re opposite sides of the same coin in terms of orientation, too :P
As a pan-demi combo, they definitely can and do coexist!
And since demis tend to have a smaller "sample" on which to draw conclusions on sexual attraction, I found that it's not uncommon to go for a "wider" sexual orientation
jenna is like an L, sierra vibe is hella valid, and brock a W

I’m hoping a takeaway here is that it’s 2022, anyone can look “gay or straight or whatever” based on outdated stereotypes. We shouldn’t continue trying to label people. Instead get to know them as individuals beyond their sexuality.

Asking that man to throw a ball had to be some form of hate crime
It's funny how Brock (the straight male) guessed the most sexual orientations correctly, and how Jenna (the Queer but lesbian leaning) got none of them right. Brock was so open minded and actually listened to what each person had to say and asked good general questions to get a better read on them. Sierra was cute and she did her best though she seemed to try to home in more on the females since perhaps being a gay female is what she knows best; even if she did say she had a terrible gay-dar and got 1 right.
However, it seemed that Jenna using her own personal gay/queer stereotypes was her down fall. She used what she liked as a gay female and reflected it heavily onto everyone and if it didn't stick then she started doubting. Her logic was almost like saying every gay guy dresses fashionable and can style hair. However the reason why she was so wrong with her guess' is that she felt that alot of 'gays/queers' should be watching a certain show or know how a certain queer person/character is; and if they didn't know something was 'wrong' with them and it made them 'less gay'. Turn s out she was dead wrong but it was a fun watch. XD
The fact that Brock was the least experienced with the community but got them mostly all right, even down to the exact term says a lot
Jenna’s rationale was just horrible 😂😂😂😂 she only guessed based on stereotypes and personal interests.

We shouldn't judge people's sexual orientation based on their appearances
i mean, a lot of queer people intentionally dress in certain ways to advertise and celebrate their queerness, so certain cultural touchstones in fashion are TOTALLY a thing. it's just that not everyone does, and sometimes straight people dress like that too -- to be counter cultural, or just because they like the style. saying "oh this person looks queer" is completely justifiable, you just shouldn't be surprised if you're wrong, and you shouldn't assume someone ISN'T queer by what they're wearing.
