I think this mum who wants parental consent is wrong totally wrong, if these children are having babies they need to grow up & have full responsibility!
Some parents would be cruel and tell you if you want to pretend to be an adult, move out and be financially responsible for your child. This situation is always sad, honestly.

Condoms have about a 10% failure rate with typical use. Statistically it's not surprising that there would be instances of split condoms as well as condoms that were forgotten "just once". Chlöe's Mother Lisa needs to go back to work and let her look after Morgan. Lisa wants parental control, she has the baby in her room all night, she just had to go with them when they registered the baby's name. She's a control freak. It's Chloe and Gary's son, not hers. She couldn't wait to quit her job so she could oversee everything. Poor Gary, of course he's quiet, Lisa has usurped him as the Father.
Glad I'm not the only one who felt really uncomfortable watching Chloe's mother act the way she did. And I agree, that this is likely why Gary just sat there unsure of himself the whole time.
The second couple really made me mad - neither of them seemed to give a toss about the fact that they were about to have kids and clearly neither have any intention of letting it change their life and so it’s all going to fall on the mother. Chloe can’t even be bothered to put a load of laundry on to help her mother while she works all the hours she can to support the girl. That said as much as I would support my daughters if they fell pregnant, I would definitely be telling her that she is old enough to have sex, old enough to be having a baby soon then they need to grow up and start taking responsibility for things. The grandma wants parental responsibility (for obvious reasons) and the dad isn’t keen but the daughter “doesn’t care”. The entire attitude towards being a mother is just that of a stroppy teenager. I was a young mum too (fell with my first when I was 17) and I immediately was the most grown up and responsible person. I knew that I had to grow up to be a good mother and to be honest the way that I was headed before I fell pregnant, I always say that my son saved my life by forcing me to be responsible. I moved into my own place at 18 after he was born and my husband and I had all 5 of ours before I was 29 and we are still together 25 years on from the first baby. I think she thought about getting the morning after pill when the condom split, but was embarrassed to go to the pharmacy. (some pharmacists really are rude and judgemental about it, even for adults who need it)
Teenagers breastfeed less than Mums over 18 because they suffer the stigma of having a baby so young and often feel they'd be judged further for breastfeeding in public etc. It's also true that unplanned pregnancies are a shock and people have less time to do research on how to breastfeed successfully etc because you need to do your homework to know what to do to keep milk supply up etc.
I feel like these fathers have something missing in their life. Something tells them to have children early on, as it is the one thing that they can control in life. Maybe to fill that part in their soul.
@nouvel0001 I just don't think an underage kid should be allowed to make that decision. It's illegal for them to consume alcohol, or have sex before 16. Keeping the child shouldn't be their decision.

They haven't lived yet if they think it was time to have a baby, u know as parents u failed, coz they shouldn't think about being parents at that age more like after uni.
More like when they can financially support themselves independently plus have enough to support a baby .
So um did epidural not frickem exaist? My gosh they only get has its crazy
im confused, did she mean she was guna get the morning after pill when she found out? cuz surely that wouldnt work
I think she thought about getting the morning after pill when the condom split, but was embarrassed to go to the pharmacy. (some pharmacists really are rude and judgemental about it, even for adults who need it)
What happened with nursing the baby.? It's so good for mother and baby.

If my 15 year old child told me they were pregnant, the choice wouldn't be theirs I'm afraid.
If it has to be their choice then they can as well choose to live financially & physically independent of their parents .
@nouvel0001 I just don't think an underage kid should be allowed to make that decision. It's illegal for them to consume alcohol, or have sex before 16. Keeping the child shouldn't be their decision.
@@chanyphilly8266 Exactly.
Then they the child will resent you for that..
@emma-victoria933 naturally they would, but sometimes you have to be cruel to be kind. I'd rather they hated me for a while, than look back on their 21st birthday when theyre missing out partying etc. and say "why didn't you stop me?"
