I miss coming here. I grew up here way back in the day when Corelli, Yacky and Metcaff were the kings of the track. My former stepdad worked in the tower so I was here every weekend. Always dreamed of racing but could never afford to.
After Bandimere shutting down I really truly hope this track will never shut down it's been out here for so long by itself for so many years. But new homes being built by the track has me vary considered. I have been coming here since I was in a stroller, but as I grew up I watched another track that was made in dirt shut down because of some new townhomes that moved in next door also know as Rocky Mountain Speedway! I just really hope this doesn't even get shut down ever. This track has a lot of history. One of them being the first to host the Bush series next the first track to host the Craftsman Truck Series. We have been racing trucks here since 1995 way before it became a hit. This track like Bandimere and Rocky Mountain Speedway has a ton of history. And it should be protected!
