First impression of my custom RD350 YPVS Model 31K '83. My Setup: Suspension: Yamaha SRZ 660 Exhaust: Jim Lomas Carburetors: Mikuni TMX 30 CDI: Borut CDI 10VT
Awesome RD350 (hybrid) and sound love the 2 storke, how did you make the swingarm from the SZR 660 fit to the frame?. got the same setup on my RD project, and the space (where the swingarm are located) the frame are 21 cm, and the SZR 660 swingarm wideness are 23,5cm, how did you make yours fit, help would be much appreciated.
Hi! it's been a while now since the rebuild took place, but if I remember the szr 660 swingarm had the same amount milled off on the left and right so that the swingarm would fit into the rd frame. So that the rd stock shaft fits through the szr swingarm extra bushings were made that plugged into the side of both ends of the szr swingarm. I also had to remove something from the sprocket carrier so that the chain alignment is aligned.
@@josefreiter8451 Hi Josef thanks alot, have seen alot of people using this swingarm, and seen it on pictures but really been woundering on how they have made it, of course it is different from every bike/user, have though alot on how should i make it fit, but this difently sound like the best way ;). so thanks alot!, do you have some picture you perhaps would share with me about the swingarm build?
