Guess Who’s Singing is a brand new series by the Cimorelli sisters! Each episode will feature one song sung by one sister, but there’s a twist- her voice will be altered to sound higher or lower than it really is. We’ll give you 5 hints about her identity in each episode, as well as share the story behind why she personally connects to the song. It’s up to you to figure out who it is each week! Premiering every Saturday at 11am EST, and featuring a slew of celebrity hosts, join us each week for the mysteries, clues and fun! In our grand finale on July 24th, we’ll reveal the identities of the singers behind each of the songs.

I think it’s Katherine because of the vocals and the body language while she’s singing. She looks very into it like she really believes and is confident while singing this song

Knowing how Katherine sings, there's certain ways she says her words when she sings. Plus those high notes sound super light and airy and not as "belted" like Lisa normally does. I definitely think it's Katherine! I'd love to actually hear the original version of this before it was altered!

Definitely going with Katherine on this one but sheesh! They definitely put in their all to confuse us.
For the hints: the crafts definitely makes me think Amy, the hair make me think Lisa, the not feeling good enough makes me think Christina, the new chapter sounds like Lisa or Katherine with their pregnancies and the feeling uncomfortable in large groups of people sounds like Lauren. HOWEVER, I think the hints are probably not obvious ones so I’m immediately scrapping first guesses on all of them and going with less obvious answers.
Katherine is the only one who isn’t the first obvious choice and yet answers to everything. The hair seems to be a big one and Katherine has said that she cut her hair shorter than her sisters to be different and not have to “compete” with them whereas Lisa said she cut it for other reasons not just to be different.
For the singing: if Lisa did it I feel like their would be more vocal acrobatics, runs and so forth.
If Christina did it we would have heard her distinctive vocal cries throughout.
If Lauren did it their would have been more pronounced belting on the high notes
And if Amy did it I feel like we would have heard more of her country/twangy accent.
It sounded like Katherine’s voice, just altered a ton. It would be cool if someone took this audio and tried to alter it back!

I feel as if Lisa would know if she did a lot of adlibs people would immediately think it’s her. And people would think this would be a perfect song for Lisa to sing. Katherine tone is more breathy/airy. And her way of pronouncing some of the vowels. Idk I just hear it here. But also Katherine sorta pronounces things like Lauren sometimes while singing. Which the belts could be Lauren Lisa or Kath. Lisa is taken out because of the fashion designer question. And so is Lauren. Also with the hair question Lauren is out. But kaths range is a lot more versatile than we are accustomed to. The first high note sounded like Laur. Yet knowing Kath can hit that note, it’s just either given to Lauren Chris or Lisa, I believe it’s her. The last high note sounded like Katherine way too much. And the clues. Katherine cut her hair to look different from her sisters. Never thought she was enough bevause back in 2009 when they debuted people would say she was the worst singer out of all of them. Also stating it took a toll on her personally. And the fashion designer part Kath said in the book. Also taking that Lisa and Lauren said they want to be singers and Chris wants to be a therapist/life coach. (Amy I forgot) I just fully believe it’s Kath at this point
It just HAS to be Kath. One can hear that very clearly in the first verse - especially third line - and when she sings "look out cause here I come".
They want us to think it's Lisa with those hints, but Kath butcher hair ad well and even though being an extrovert, one can still feel overwhelmed by big crowds.
Kath has such a airy and soft voice and e.g. the high notes would be way sharper if it was Lisa because she usually belts those. If Lisa sings high notes in headvoice they would not be that full of energy but they are here.

I think it was a podcast episode Kath said that she was always compared to her sisters so she cut her hair really short. They’ve all talked about not feeling good enough. Stuck between Kathrine and Amy. I feel like Amy has a higher range than Kathrine, so the big note at the end of this song is something she would be more likely to sing.
I don’t think that Amy has higher range, Katherine’s voice just more soft, but her range is high. I remember her high notes in some songs - they were breathy, soft and clear. Just as in this video

when i heard lauren start “singing” i knew it was katherine. it wasn’t even her voice that told me it was the way she was singing it, if that makes sense.
My thinking exactly, Amy’s notes are darker and it’s much breathier than Lisa Christina. But it isn’t as bright as Lauren’s voice
I also use the breathing patterns to differentiate Kath’s voice from the others

Its Kath, she uses less vibrato in her voice and this singing is really straight. I kinda usually confuse her voice with Christina's, but the amount of air in the voice.... Its Kath
Non of them use vibrato, and they really should learn how to because they extend the final notes a lot and would sound much better 🤷🏻♀️

But actually in songs when you are singing in group harmonizing, you have to be intelligent using it cause everyone has a different type of vibrato, so if all 5 girls use it at the same time, It can turn into a mess.
I agree, I love Kath's straight tone! It's very crisp yet just the right amount of airy. Christina's voice almost has a little girly Britney Spears vocal fry to her voice, so I didn't think it was her.

Yeahh. Kath said in harmonies she usually sings in the middle but also higher parts so she’s definitely capable of singing those high notes. She sings in her head voice a lot (this song is very airy and calming if you kinda separate it from the voice altering) and the new chapter is definitely motherhood. I feel like the clues tried to make us think it is Lisa but I think Lisa would add a lot more high notes. Because of that I feel like when they alter Lisa’s voice, they’re going to make it lower because Lisa usually stays in a higher register.

Everyone is saying it's Katherine, but I'm hearing Lauren. This sounds exactly like how she pronounces her words when she's singing. She has a breathy quality sometimes like Katherine but can also belt like Lisa. My money is tentatively on Lauren.

omg! so i put it in my singing app on my pc and brought it down. the original note kath did in studio is a f5!!! like that’s one of her highest notes! also bring it down really shows that it’s kath 😂😂😂

I’m stuck between Lisa and Kath but I’m tilting towards Kath. The belt sounded exactly like Lisa’s but we haven’t heard Kath belt much so it could sound similar.

It's 100% Kath! Hint 1: She's pregnant with twins! Hint 3: Wasn't completely sure of this one, thought it was Amy since she paints and makes her own jewellery, but I was sure it can't really be Christina or Lisa idk why hahahah. Hint 4: Kath mentioned once how she cut her hair during their early years on youtube so that she wasn't compared with her sisters because of that. For the performance itself, I thought it was obvious it was Kath because her voice really stands out! Like someone said, she has an airy/breathy aspect to her voice. I definitely crossed Lisa and Amy off the list when the high parts came because I think their belts would've been stronger. Kath is leading in the poll anyways so I'm assuming most of us are on the same page hahahah, just wanted to join in in the comments! AHHH I'm so excited for next weekk

They said the singer cut her hair to be different, Lisa's reason for shaving her head was more because of her bad relationships whereas Kath's reason was because she didn't want to be compared to the rest of her sisters by hair length

7:56 is what makes it seem that it’s for sure Kath. Listen to how she sings that part, and compare it to any time kath has done a part where she has to go up into her head voice and you will see that the transition is almost identical to how kath sings stuff like that

Its the vowel shaping that says its Katherine. Everyone has their vowels that makes it very distinct. But its a few of the lines that make me think oh wait. Huge pats to the editor and whoever sang it coz wth. Otherwise the other lines sounds like Christina. Definitely not Lauren, Amy or Lisa.

This is kath, the hints, the words, the tempo she sings the notes, the way she holds it, this is kath for sure!
I think Lauren. Especially the hint about "growing up in the spotlight" hints at it being one of the younger girls. Lisa, Katherine and Christina were all 16 and over when they got famous so I think it's either Amy or Lauren, and while both love DIY projects, Lauren IS the most introverted and shy of the girls, which is hinted at in the hints. I also think Lauren cut her hair to be different at one point.

The Shallow is DEFINITELY Lauren!!!!!
Now onto the actual song lol. At first thought this was Amy, but I didn't hear her fall offs at the end of phrases. The voice was light, which also led me to Amy to start off because we all know she is the alto in the group, and her voice would naturally get lighter when notes get higher. Then, I heard the even higher notes, and realized it was Katherine. The light and soft tone to her voice definitely gave it away. ESPECIALLY when it would get to her close ups, and you can really see how her mouth molded to her words. It fit perfectly!

I think it's Kath!! She opened up about her cutting her hair to be different from her sisters cause she was always compared to them before, her new chapter is motherhood, if you checked her Instagram story she did a DIY mother's day gift for her sisters, I also think that she said in a video that she wanted to be a fashion designer, and I think she said that she gets overwhelmed in concerts or places with big crowds even when she knows that she's an extrovert. She also opened up about her being a people pleaser and she was a guest in their friend's podcast and she opened up about how she felt like she wasn't good enough. Also the way she sings the song in the video is so passionate, like this is her song!!!! I might be wrong though!

I’ve just noticed I’m pretty certain it’s Katherine as every breath made throughout the song, she breathes at this exact moment!
Which is almost impossible unless you sing it exactly like that, as each person has a different breathing technique when singing!

The voice is so altered that it's pretty much unrecognizable. But that's actually a downside. I love their real voices, and I miss hearing them.

The clues kinda stumped me because each clue reminded me of a different sister but then when they started singing i heard kath's voice because she had that light and soft and airy voice which i immediately said it has to be kath especially because in covers she always has that beautiful airy and gentle voice so yeah i think its kath
