  • Hey guys, Here is a quick video of an axle tube repair I did on a Bobcat 175 Skidsteer, way back before I got on youtube. It was one of the more challenging repairs at the time. fortunately, it worked out well. The machine was able to get back to work. If you got an extra 5min, take a quick break with this video. Enjoy, and thanks for the support in advance.

Never thought about bending electrodes to 90* to reach a weld underneath
      Definitely thanks for tip

Back axle, down in foot square tunnel filled with oil, chains, and sprockets and your and using a mirror to see where you're welding. 🥺 And your welds still look perfect! 👏👏👏👏
I've seen BobCat techs torch 4x5 inch holes in the ends of that chain case for much easier access to internals. They would re-purpose a common transmission inspection cover plate by drilling & tapping holes in the thick metal chain case to make it a re-uasable access hole. 👍

Maybe I can combine a couple of projects to make the videos a bit longer so it would be worth the time to sit down and watch. Lets see what the comments say. 😊
