Yeah, I should have shown it in this video. I just didn’t want it to drag onto too long. I will probably do it for a few holes to demonstrate. it’s cool how you can connect with friends using the app and then play each other using the rounds you record. Sounds like direct peer to peer is coming soon. Thanks for watching!
Yes, 100%. I see sub 1000rpm on quad and others too. It’s When I hit way to far up and high on the face. When I’m outside I can see the ball even fall out of the sky fast sometimes. It’s a common miss for people like me that get stuck and hit way up, I’m talking like 9 up!
@@williamhumber5890 Yeah my normal shot is like 5-6 up, I play a 8 degree driver and when I hit it right it is like 165-169mph ball speed, launch at like 15 with 1800-2100 spin and is a awesome knuckle ball that goes far, but my flexibility right now is really bad and I am working to fix it.
I have the same AoA with a stealth plus and high off the face I’ll get as low as 900 spin with quad. So I went back to a regular stealth and I don’t see that super low spin.
Can you change to time of the overhead after shot view or turn it off completely? Seems like a time killer when every playing sim golf is under time constraints. It’s on the screen for 7 seconds x 72 swings= 8.25 minutes per round
Follow-up question on the TM IO itself. Do you believe there is a way to mount the IO on a track system (left to right) for small space lefty/righty play? Thanks!
So that is the key part to this unit, it has a very wide hitting area that should accommodate a narrow space and easy right/left play. Check out my first look video where I point that out and show how wide it is. Here is the link... ua-cam.com/video/mvuT7GrkM9o/v-deo.html
@@GolfSimulatorVideos I did see that. I’m at 10.5” wide unfortunately, so not sure the 2’ hitting area would work. Thanks for the response. I’ll look into it further.
Is there any connector for GSPro? I think these companies are really missing the point, I want to play local courses/my home course to work on shots I struggle with, not a course I’ll play once in my lifetime. I mean that’s fun but doesn’t really do me any good. That’s why GSPro kills the competition. If a monitor doesn’t integrate with GSPro it’s instantly written off.
I’m thinking of buying a premium home simulator, I am unsure whether to go for the cheaper GC3 or splash out on the Trackman IO Complete edition - are the courses and graphics on IO better than GC3 / FSX?
Trackman software and iO is nice for sure. Big price difference, of course, including the software subscription. I’m happy to explain the difference between both of them if you just shoot me an email.
I can’t imagine someone buying both, but I’m sure there are a few that might. I can ask my contact, but I’m unaware of any plans for that as of right now. Thanks for watching!
TM4 for the outdoor experience at the range and on course and IO for indoor. This would allow all data and shots to be within the same profile and software as opposed to IO for indoor and GC3 for example for outdoor data
@@kirschtyTM4 can be really good indoors, but it needs a lot of light from the screen to the unit and especially a radius around the hitting area of like 4' or so. The reason is it uses the camera to get impact location which is vital to proper spin axis calculation. This is more important for shots with gear affect but is important regardless. If you get impact then you will get solid results. Keep in mind TM4 still provides a lot more measured club data and can be taken outdoors, does putting analysis etc. So still very different units.
Yeah, they definitely were not targeting that low price range marketplace. But it does give people people a lower entry point for a Trackman that is optimized for indoor, which is nice. Thanks for watching!
Sorry, it’s tough to get into anything for that price point, a decent projector nearly cost that much. I’m not saying there might be a few options. You could check out like the Garmin R10 then just heading into a net and using your phone. I’m just saying for a full golf, simulator set up it would be nearly impossible.

Love the 9 hole videos!
Great to hear! Thanks for watching!
Great round!
Thanks! Appreciate you watching! 🍻
I really want to see a Trackman IO vs. Eye XO if that is even possible. Not sure if you could mount both without conflicting with each other.
Any camera units both running strong Infared will interfere. It’s an issue for sure.
Do you think that drive with 1128 RPM spin at 9:20 was an accurate measurement? That seems pretty hard to believe.

Great video ! What projector and pc running gear would you recommend for a high quality 4k experience with the TM IO, thanks
So there are a few Eiding factors depending on your set up. If you can just shoot me an email I’ll walk you through everything. a98cr125@gmail.com
The new trackman iO seems very very cool.
Can you change to time of the overhead after shot view or turn it off completely? Seems like a time killer when every playing sim golf is under time constraints. It’s on the screen for 7 seconds x 72 swings= 8.25 minutes per round
Yes, I actually talk about that. In the video you can have it do a full flyover or you can turn it off completely.

Does wind setting in VG2 affect trees at all? No tree sway?
Yes if you have wind the trees will move, I have it calm so less that 1mph mostly during this round. Maybe I will do a windy round soon! :)

Trackman does not offer GSpro integration.
No impact camera available during rounds? Or did you turn it off
Not yet, but they said they are looking to incorporate it during Virtual Golf. Currently it only is available in TPS and the new Range.
would love to know where your matting is from?

Gc3 and gspro all the way imo, way cheaper and very comparable. Or splurge and get a gcquad.
do your foresee Trackman offering a IO and TMan4 bundle?
I can’t imagine someone buying both, but I’m sure there are a few that might. I can ask my contact, but I’m unaware of any plans for that as of right now. Thanks for watching!
Out of curiosity, why would you want both?
TM4 for the outdoor experience at the range and on course and IO for indoor. This would allow all data and shots to be within the same profile and software as opposed to IO for indoor and GC3 for example for outdoor data
What’s your take on that, @golfsimulatorvideos? TM4 is still awfully good for indoor golf. Is TMiO enough of a value-add to have both?

Where is the impact screen from?
This is a screen from my sim install years ago. It actually is not available for sale.
What is the projector you use for your Trackman io?
Benq LK936ST. Feel free to email me my partner has them in-stock.
