I've had a '71 Eldorado convertible for more than 25 years and now have 109,000 miles on it. Bought it with 49,000 miles. Car has never broken down, not even once. I did run out of gas once but was able to coast to the gas station! It's wide enough that 4 people can sit across the front seat.
@@johanbrand8601 how many of these 50 year old cars have a new engine, transmission, completely redone suspension, blah blah blah. At some point the only original pieces are the body and frame

The '60s and' 70s were the golden years of American cars
they are more reliable than new cars, no matter what price.

@@nicm9600 of course nothing lasts forever. Parts give in with age. I'm just saying we'll have to put it to the test to see.
