that is awesome! love the design and construction looks natural and well centered. was wondering about about the head controls being in the hands tho as a puppeteer I'm sure that's just natural but could you not use a system that relays movements of the actors head to the bears same as the hand cable but with a bike helmet instead?
hello Ryan, thanks for commenting :) i started to go down that same line of thought with having a bike helmet that controlled the movement of the puppets head, but i quickly found that it put quite allot of strain on the neck muscles of the actor and the helmet couldn't be attached to the main body of the puppet. For example if i shrugged my solders the whole puppet would rise meaning the helmet would also elevate along with pulling my head along with it. This in turn could cause the puppet to move in an un-desirable way. thanks for commenting chap :)
