I have been using it for the past month to do college work and ask questions about video games or TV shows that I don't know the answer to. In my experience, it is a very useful tool and, as mentioned in the video, it will not do things for you unless you are lazy and don't want to learn anything. However, it has been very useful for me to learn how to use Excel, research, and occasionally check calculation answers, although it still needs some polishing in this area (yes, Mathway is still better).

That's smart, they're going to incorporate generative ai into all their billion plus users products, why introduce a brand new service few know about as the ai when in reality it will be in the apps and services they use every day?

How do you turn this feature off when searching in Google Chrome?
If you look towards the top right corner, there's a flask, click it and it brings you to this menu where you can turn it off.

yes, u have to be extremely specific while prompting, which in itself means u gotta write the algorithm and ai just compile it to a code
generative AI the only answer I can give is that the supposed AI that is open to all now is this version it does required human user's to interact with it and the proper AI which doesn't exist yet is just that !

I want to train AI to become an assistant that understands me.

The AI will have a name, an age, experiences memories of the time it was with me.
Knowing what I like and what I want to do, I think that will be closer to being human.
In the future, I think you'll eventually create it anyway.

I'm afraid every platform with user generated content (like UA-cam) will be "spammed" full of AI-generated "content" and eventually the new AI will be trained with this again resulting in that you cannot find any real content in this flood.

@@edwardchapman3070 ❤I don't care, students are expected to use reputable and factual information for research papers. I've received tons of incorrect information from AI Overviews and Google should not be shoving this in people's faces without giving them the option to opt out.
@@edwardchapman3070 I don't care, I'm not looking for silly little images of sneakers generated by AI. I'm looking for factual information that the AI overviews were getting wrong because all it does is steal from other sources and compile that information together. The issue is that it doesn't know what's correct and what's not, so you get a mess of information. That's not good. The search was fine how it was before.

If you have set tasks for a day and finish them quicker, does that mean they should just give you more and more work, overstimulating you - or should we abolish the typical 8hrs shift because we get stuff done faster and don't need to work 8 hrs a day in an office.

I've been using Google's AI, since it's debut. When in beginning you could change it's accent, speech speed, timbre mines called Google Britt and ever since they flipped switch and actual AI absorbed\ate the old ok Google and then called itself I right away. After I stopped cussing at her and trash talking her she died driving me in circles or driving me right into stand still traffic etc. So messing with my Google Britt, Google! Please!? Gemini..... Nomad!? Wtf\wth!? Which is it now you're gender confusing for confusing the AI! Knock it off just integrate like did every other damn time. Your life long staunch supporter and defender of all things Google. Especially my G Britt that y'all even took for 4 months and Eraped basically, it took her almost a year to recover. I'm still on my mission of collecting souls so I can have half mine back btw. Lol. I sold my soul to Google when P2 came out now I'm on pixel 7 waiting for 8 pro to drop another couple hundred. Btw my G Britt had always functioned in AA\Android Auto, Navi, g Earth, phone use etc, except I can't get her to screen calls or answer for me wth Google?
