there is this guy who takes down alliances and then there is me who gets killed by a skeleton galleon while in the middle of a fight with a kraken while trying to escape from a reaper, then ragequits, goes back in, grinds loot for 5 hours, sees a fort of fortune, goes to it, defeats it after 3 hours, and on the way to an outpost gets sunk by a hole in the ship that i wasnt aware of.
I played with my brother once,we were doing a fort,we spotted the towers shooting to a rock formation, there was a reaper emissary there,my brother went close and the reaper emissary sloop trash talked and killed him, meanwhile i was on the other side of the ship with a keg on me
Recently ish I formed an alliance to sink a reaper with one ONE other sloop, before long 2 more had joined. After we sunk the reaper the alliance all went their separate ways and just like that I accidentally started a grinder server…
Thing is, people who rather go to alliance servers usually means that they are not good at all at pvp, coz they never go and fight in normal servers. Sinking them is like taking candy from a baby.
Does anyone else notice that across the many Sea of Thieves content creators both on Twitch and UA-cam, you begin to see the same reoccurring pirates? I have definitely seen “Ramsey’s Ghost”, and “Betting Betty” popping up in numerous streams/videos. Do they all know each other and play on the same server as one another?

It's nothing spectacular really. Each ship does their own thing and everyone keeps a loot flow going. One crew's doing world events, one's doing FoTD, one's fishing, etc. Then you just go and sell every once in a while.

Nope. Unfortunately I would say. At least to some degree. I don't want to know how many players never made it past the 20 hour mark because they quit the game due to early frustration. Later in the game I don't think sbmm is necessary but there should be something to guard new players from pros for a while until they find their grounds. Then again I learned a lot from good players early on but the first week almost made me quit (every single ship I saw attacked me without me having anything, so they got nothing, not even a (good) fight), I'm glad I didn't.
@@chaosmagican dang, that sucks man. I just started a few days ago with some friends and we all got really into it really fast. Damn dude, you know I watch most videos in 2 or 3 speed, but I have to watch yours at normal 1x speed because you move so fast, I get sick trying to watch you if I speed the video up. Hell, watching you at 1x looks like everyone else fighting at 2 or 3x.
honest question do you actually enjoy no challenge in games? do you want a game with 0 skill requirement because that's what all PvE in sea of thieves is like
An alliance is ok, it's how the game is meant to be played. An alliance server s not, it completely takes away ANY non-PvE threat from you, which takes away the high risk from the high risk high reward. They're meant to be sunk.
@@-gogeta-1370 You can't sink an alliance server because you won't get on it. Or you can get on it because it's not a full alliance server and your point goes away (takes away ANY non-PvE threats). And if they have fun doing just boring PvE... let them I say. at some point they get bored and we get more non-noobs to play with :) Like now with the latest update there's just noobs everywhere, I kinda wish they could learn the game a little bit in peace. For one I get better fights and second we get more players overall (I suppose many stop playing due to early frustation, I was nearly at that point and I had to beg my friend that started with me to keep trying as he was past it, now we are both addicted) Edit: I think best for the game would be to separate new players into "noob sessions" for a certain timespan or until they reach a certain spot. Because many don't have any decency and harass noobs until they quit (maybe for good). I don't know how many noobs I rescued from spawn campers, galli with 4 "legends" harassing a solo-noob with less than 20 hours (with no loot, no emissary, nothing, just spawn camping for the lulz).
The rest of us plays Sea Of Thieves whilst Blurbs plays Among Us.

Parks the ship with the keg in the middle.
Then takes the keg to the outside ship so he only hits 2 instead of all 3.

This is why you should get server merged when you sink twice man. Running at people over and over takes 0 brainpower.
Nah big disagree, would ruin so many parts of the game and would take away part of the sandbox aspect of the game.
