Vegetables and fruit is a lot more healthy to eat in Scandinavia as we have strict laws about which chemicals are allowed. That is why they are less good looking. :)
If you did not know this, when you recycle a bottle in such a machine, you have already paid that number extra in price ("Pant" on the bottle). It is encouragement for recycling the bottles
Huntyyy.. The produce doesn’t look the same here as in America because we have far strickter rules for when it comes to alternating it and using chemicals.
I was an AFS student in Vesterålen two years ago, and all of our camps were in your host city! Brings so many memories back, hope you having the greatest time of your life because this is the period that is gonna change you and your views on the world now, and even after exchange!! Gonna keep following you, u go!
You've misunderstood the produce situation, but it's not really interesting. The organization that gets the money from the bottles (the reverse vending machine) is Norsk Folkehjelp - they're not helping people in Norway, our government does that; the NGO provides post-conflict reconstruction assistance and humanitarian relief during conflicts. They're involved in places like Syria.
Come to folldal or some of the most cold places in norway at the winter, its like around -50°C and yeah celsius for at least a week per winter, thats cold, -5°C is t-shirt temperature after a week with -50°C😂
zoster toaster Actually, no! I noticed that a lot of the classes here are much easier and are things I learned a few years ago in school! They’re only challenging because they’re in norwegian!
@@Sosofrida Yeah, you can choose to have it hard. But if you don't, then I think it's much easier. I took P math, and it's actually the easiest 6 I have gotten in my life.
No, if you see the prices of the iskaffe (ice coffee) in the store you see that the mocha one costs only 13 kr Which is a lot cheaper than in elsewhere where it cosst around 19kr
@@ingerjuni Yeah, I guess I was wrong. The original almond milk is about 38 and the unsweetened one is about 32. The iskaffe mocca is super cheap there. Lucky them!
Its not cold (-5C). And that obvious from this video - you walk without warm hat, with naked neck and you managed to lick your lips (I'm not a creep, I just look for those signs when people talk about "cold") - people don't do that in real cold :)
I'm from Norway and I've lived in the USA, and both of them have their pros and cons. I disliked neither, myself :) . Depends on what you're after and exactly where you live, I suppose.

Great job! Greetings from an exchange student to Upper Michigan in 86/87 from Oslo Norway!
Eating well 23 degrees nice sun out to work.
forsett med å snakke litt Norsk her og der(: liker at du virkelig prøver å lære språket!
another reason why the produve isn´t "great" is because we have more strict regulations on what preservatives and chemicals that can be used :)
"Ferskvare" doesn't mean fish, fersk means fresh (as in not frozen or canned etc).
Nice that you talk norwegian. I’m from norway and I Know it’s cold!
Always look forward to this video every week🥰 Always so beautiful and fun I love it!
Just wait till january, Northern Norway can get down to like -20 -30 degrees sometimes:P
You Said-5°C is cold wait untill it gets-15°C to 30°C. It really depends on where you live tho
yeah -5 is not even cold if you dress appropriately, she's not even wearing a beanie, idk why she's complaining :D
I always learn something new in every video tysm for spreading the knowledge n good vibes
We do the same bottle thing in Germany.
And Australia
We've been doing it for many decades in Norway though.
I watch your vlogs because I'm currently living in London but missing Norge ❤
Yes, I think cold climate has more to say than regulations, to be honest.
is the kiosk still up and running near the school there? (went to school there, I recognized the pathway down to the busstop) :)
Yes it is😊

Norwegian buy a lot of frozen pizzas. I actually think they have a world record in this!
Since it's almost Halloween, you need to do a video while staying in that room. Are you brave enough? haha. Have a Great week!

Are you in Finnsnes or somewhere else in Norway? (e du på Finnsnes eller en anen plass?)

Why dont you beautiful girls cover-up your head while prepare food??
My question is, Why the hell Norway?!
