Tips for everyone, firstly the top panel clips will break pretty much 90% of the time and if you just pull the bumper from the fender retainer it'll break so you have to take the retainer off from the back side of the fender which it's not hard to do just 3 small screws
This video helped me out. Thanks! One tip for others, to reach the two bolts down at the bottom behind the grill I used a magnetic nut driver it on an 8" flexible drive shaft attached to a socket driver (screwdriver handle with square female end that takes bits, adapters etc). There was no way I could get my arm down far enough behind the grill to reach those two bolts any other way. Then for replacement the magnetic bit holds the bolt so you can drive it back in. Good luck!
My clips that attach the bumper near the tire broke right off when I went to pull away. No idea why they would do that vs unclipping. Now I'm screwed and will need to replace the molding they clip into.
Hi, would you have any pictures of the back of the bumper? I just ordered the chrome tow hooks for my 2015 Yukon Denali and I ordered the new molding with the tow hook cut outs. I was hoping to see a video or pictures on how that molding comes off. It appears you don't need to remove the entire bumper to exchange the tow hook molding. Thanks for any help.
I'll save everybody some time, here's the video: Mumble mumble mumble, camera shaking around aiming at random places like the garage floor while he's mumbling about parts of the vehicle. Repeat.
I’ve never heard a more quiet video in my life
Thank you. You are the GOAT
