The whole country has a Joe Biden problem
Again... the Congressional branch passes laws allocating money. However, it's the responsibility of the EXECUTIVE branch to spend the money (within the constraints of the allocations) to conduct its foreign policy goals. Biden has Constitutional authority to NOT spend the money if it deems it inappropriate. ALL Presidents have that Constitutional authority.
CONGRESS does not have Constitutional authority to conduct Foreign Policy. That authority belongs to the EXECUTIVE branch.
It's one of those cases where I'm agitated and annoyed with our current President, but... it's HIS call. He can withhold the money earmarked for Israel, release money to Ukraine, etc. as he sees fit.
Rep. Cotton (and Congress) can pass laws to "force the President" to do what they say, but the President can just veto it and if overridden, he'll toss it in the trash bin.
Bring it to SCOTUS? They'll strike it down because they cannot FORCE POTUS to "obey their dictates".
As one President said (I forget who): "SCOTUS has rendered their decision. Now let them enforce it." (

during the covid pandemic, i was getting raises and bonuses all the time, I was an essential worker. I say bring on the next pandemic.
Yeah the thing with inflation is while it may cool off, most Americans havent gotten the raises to even break even yet. I use the CPI to know the bare minimum to catch up thats 10% or so. Inflation adjusted raises would have to go as high as 20%. Good luck getting that, you now have to go to a job where they are hiring with the wages they need, restarting their path from the bottom of the totem pole.
then you can explain how pay raises increases inflation, and then tell us how making a big national debt keeps inflation low, but paying that credit card costs more than inflation, and history has taught us, after every war, when start paying the bill for it, has lead to hard times, check that one out that no one is talking about,
