- At SynthFest France 2024, a new French brand, Pylobolus, showcased a new digital polyphonic Synthesizer
I wanted to make a video about the prototype. Pylobolus, the developer, said no, but we found a compromise to make a sound demo as a teaser.
It was important to Pylobolus that no pictures or videos of the synth were published. Too bad.
I can say that it's a digital polysynth with a unique 9x2 voice structure, and it will offer virtual analog, FM, and VOSIM synthesis.

don't know, as the key features weren't ready or communicated at SynthFest
Has it fx like filter, reverb, delay, chorus?

Tbh... Judged by these sounds, it's not something i'd be curious about...
I agree with you. I just hope it is a case of bad sound design, not bad sounding engines... After all it is a prototype, so I guess no budget at all (not even in the form of the developper's time) has been allowed to proper sound design.
But dang, this sounds awful....
