    I am working on 4 puppets at once now, and it's my 1st time making puppets. I have heads attached to all 4 bodies and I'm pretty happy with how they look. I spent a good part of the day today struggling to stuff the foam hand into the fleece hand but managed to get 2 sets of them done. It was incredibly frustrating. I didn't like how they looked at all, the foam wouldn't reach all the way to the fleece finger tips, the hands looked misshapen....it was not good lol.
    While taking a break from it I was twirling a foam hand around on it's rod and a little voice in my head said ,"That hand looks a little thick." I got a ruler and measured...sure enough all and I mean ALL of the foam hands I made were 2 inches thick! Good lord I was mad lol.
    So now I'm going to remake all 4 sets of foam hands, and remake 2 sets of fleece hands. I could try to trim the foam hands I have so that they are thinner, but I feel like that would be too much to deal with. For me I'd feel better just making new ones and getting a fresh new start.

  • @ookypooky3600
    @ookypooky3600 4 роки тому

    I use this technique for the hands, I use wire between the foam glue it together and glue the hand edges together to make it look more even than i push the fingers in to form a little pocket, and put the fingers in. Than I push the hand in fill the arm with stuffing and sow the hole in the hand
