In this video, Cesar from Phenix rods teaches us how to tie up assist hooks for speed jigs. This time, we he used hollow core PE line and attached to a solid ring and a swivel.
Also talks about the benefits to using a swivel over a solid ring for speed jigging!
Big thank you to Owner for donating everything we used throughout this series, and for the opportunity to put something like this together!
Thank you all for watching, I hope you enjoyed this video!

Would love to see some spotty setups you got going on and your techniques for fishing for em. As always, great video Ray!
I'd love to see some more videos on species specific reel, rod, line, lure setups for different fish species!
Another informative video! Ray you are the man!
A video that talks about keeping you gear maintained and tackle organized

Love these type of video series ray!
Love the info videos bro I would love to see more videos on fly lining for yellow tail, dorado and tuna. Keep up the amazing work ray.😁
Love the info videos with Cesar! Being a gear head and phenix rod man myself...A rod arsenal vid would be sick!
An updated arsenal would be amazing!!!!
Super jelly of your Mexico trips!
Would love to see a video of your baitcaster setups. I'm struggling to get my Komodo 200 to cast with 20 lb-test, 4 strand braid (0.234 mm) without backlashing. Think I'll bump it up to 30 lb-test 8 strand or even 40 lb-test.
Awesome info guys thanks. I would love to see more videos on the Phenix rodes like the Megalodon and the Titan series.
Always great to get insights from the pros
With all the new info lately would love to see your updated jigs terminal tackle rods reels. Thanks...you definitely help me learn more every video.
Love these videos. Definitly videos for first-timer going for yellowtail. Aka setup for rod/reel gear needed to get started.
More great knowledge from master Yoda. My suggestion for a future video would be proper bait fish hooking technique for fly-line fishing. For example belly hooking and shoulder hooking bait fish, and which one would be better for a rubber band sinker rig?
Super great videos, especially a guy from Utah dreaming bluefin tuna. Hope to make it this summer.
Diggin this series 🙌
Love your jig videos
Cesar knowledge videos will always be a great watch!
Pretty neat I'm one to make my own rigs, for this instance, Assist hooks.
I'll give your method a try💯💪
Another great video guys. Hopefully I can win one of these and save me some cash. But if not not overly expensive. I would like to see a white seabass tutorial. Rods, reels, hooks lures etc...
Great videos! I just found this channel. I would love to see more on slow pitch jigging techniques.
These are awesome. Thank you great info!
Good stuff, thanks. Keep it up
I'd like to see a video on Cesar's jig selection process on the water.
Not sure if this would be popular but would be interested in knowing the logistics of a several day trip. As in what you bring, bedding, clothes, amenities, hygeiene, etc. How the fish are distributed or processed at the end of the trip. Food situation, motion sickness, etiquette. Pretty much stuff you wouldn't think about that is separate from your typical "bring the rods/reels/hooks"
Good stuff. Eric at Eric’s Tackle is kinda cool lol😂
Awesome video, it would be awesome if you made a video going over your long-range gear.
Video: Rod and Reel Setups for Tuna, Yellowtail, and Dodo.
I hope there will be more videos like these. I will be using these techniques for my next trip.
Thank you for all the content, helps a lot. How about a reel maintenance video?
Congratulations, you are the winner for the prize pack!
How can I get in touch with you, do you have Instagram?
@Dirty.Hookers, thank you.

Good video!
An updated arsenal video would be great.
Nice! Looking forwrad to using this info this season.
Will be awesome if master YODA could explain all kinds of solid rings and their uses , like double ring and grommet , figure 8 , double 8, swivel plus ring etc.. always being curios about this topic thx.
Nice video would love to see a gaff video including gaff making and gap size.
Great video!!! What are some good lake setups you guys use?
Thanks for the video. I would like to see a video on best and reel set up for 60# yellowtail.
