I've clocked NFS UNBOUND. Over 260 hours of game play. I have a garage Jay Leno or Andrew Tate would be proud of and I cant unleash it onto LIVE to play against real people. It's fkn B.S.
For ps5, the only way to do this is to talk with chat helpers to unlinked your ID playstation network from EA account and put it back again with the same ps5 you want to play with.. but you might lose your date, video games (buying on EA website, not in playstation network), etc... it is the only way to do it😢
I agree with you i didn't play battlefield 1 and 5 for 2 or 3 years because i played fortnite as a pro and now that i am back i cant log in on ea account its bullshit ! Fuck EA and there shit company

@@davidm4677 so I called customer support and they don’t want people with 2 ea accounts with the same email, the customer support guy helped me big time and even recovered my account. I have to say their are great support reps who can and will help you..we talked about gaming and conversation untill they was able to run everything through. Don’t give up my friend and do the chat support on ea website and if they can’t help you than call that number they will give you..I know have all my old stuff back and I can play any ea game . Thank you EA support for the great service.

I have the same issue. Standard EA BS. They are so worried about putting up a pay wall it keeps thousands of players from playing their game. I'm so glad I downloaded the demo before bying F1 22. EA won't get a dime until they fix this!

If anyone is still having this problem, I’ve gotten mine fixed. Had to go through chat. It’s not easy, but if anyone has been told that their account was deleted, they have to unlink your platform ID from your deleted EA account. I was able to create a new public ID as of 12/27/23
@@trolerus0519 Go to your browser and search up “recover EA deleted account”, and there should be a URL called “I want to recover my deleted account”, and then once you scroll down, there should be an option that says “chat” or “chat with us” which is the one you want to select. Then you can follow suit and talk to the assistant.

Okay so I'm not alone. I just got madden 24. I can't not play online and I've try everything to get help but hit a dead end. And it shows I have a email that's not mine to EA.
Glad there’s more people out there. I’ve been trying to find a solution to this for YEARS… I also have an AOL account linked from nearly 12+ years ago and there’s no way of getting access to it. EA support can’t verify that it is MY account on Xbox even when I give them all of the info possible to prove it. Even went to my achievements to see the exact date I purchased a game but since I don’t have the credit card from 12+ years ago it isn’t good enough proof. Physically can’t play any EA game online and I’ve nearly accepted this will never get fixed.

I’m in the same situation. I just got PlayStation plus and im unable to play BF1. I bought all the DLC’s and put in hours into this game. So when I go to download the game after not playing it for a long time I’m unable to access multiplayer features.

Why does EA need you to have your own account within another account that I already pay 60 a year to play online. This is atrocious. I created a new PSN ID and was able to login to my existing EA account. I did have to manually login to EA, I'm guessing because the emails for PSN and EA are now different, thanks to this fiasco. I got a big ol warning telling to make sure this is the account I want to use since you can only link the EA account to ONE PSN ID for the lifetime of the account ( I wonder if I saw this 15 years ago). You know, wouldn't want someone else with a different account to get anything for free... or take their existing customers into consideration and allowing for the possibility that over the course of 20 years someone might just create more than one account and forget some details. The EA login screen looks like an old Android 2.0 interface. In case you don't Android versions, we're up to 13. No links to online website to make it easy, have to enter username and pw manually. Why mention this? Cause I'm frustrated at this money hungry, share holder focused company that seemingly cares little for the users. Another thought occured to me. I still have my PS3 all hooked up. That HAS to be the console I signed into under a different PSN ID. I wonder if there is a way to unlink it that way. I did verify that I can unlink my EA account from this new PSN ID if I end up solving the issue.

So, If I create another xbox account and resuscribe to ea play (in my case that’s how I play ea games) I would be able to finally play online without this bullshit message appearing?
@@malarkey5643 That worked for me on PSN. I can only assume that it will be the same on Xbox. First, I would log into your current EA account online and go to the account settings under your profile. There, you will see a "connections" tab. Click it and look for Xbox live. If you see nothing, that implies that there is indeed an old EA account linked to your current xbox live. Go ahead and create a new xbox account. If you see it linked to something, unlink it. Then try logging in again under your current Xbox live account. If it still doesn't work and you still don't have any xbox live account linked to your EA account, then try creating a new xbox live account.
You shouldn't have to do this if you contact them, they should update new email what you have to do is just proof that you're the owner of the account it was hook up to in the first place!

Same problem EXACTLY BRO!!! mine is a Hotmail account over 10 to 12 years old im 47. I'm not even sure of the email address anymore to try to request a password reset. EA sucks they should fix the problem. All they gotta do is ENABLE E.A. ACCOUNTS to have multiple EMAIL ADDRESSES and create a link that deletes the old account, ATTACH IT to your NEW EMAIL....Job done.
This has happened to me since madden 24 is the first and only ea game i’ve ever played. never been able to play MUT despite having ps plus and only making an ea account for madden and resetting my password 4 times only for it to tell me that my login credentials have expired despite never even having an ea account at any point in time and i’m just sick of it at this point

Wow they had my account linked to an EA email and I had to lose all of my things in order to even play the game again. At least I got some kind of support unlike from blizzard but that's still so dumb they took my account from me just to give it back with nothing.
I have the same issue on NFS Unbound. I've tried to sign in to EA server when I'm playing NFS Unbound. I followed directions to reset my password and then nothing! The screen on my TV doesn't change.
EA online is a joke. Can’t just be like any other online game, gotta be as awkward as possible. My EA account was deleted for inactivity and now I can’t access my battlefield 4 account which I’ve paid £100 for and invested over a thousand hours into. Absolute joke.
Hey guys!! I just got off the phone with EA about 5 minutes ago resolving this issue. All you have to do is call, they’ll do the usual asking what you’re calling for, ask for your gamer tag/psn, and then they’ll unlink the EA account that you can’t remember which is more than likely the case. only bad thing is it deleted all data for other games that you have linked to that EA account like Apex but it does fix the QR code issue. Luckily I hadn’t used it in forever so I didn’t really care about the other games so hopefully you’re in that same boat!! Happy gaming everyone!!
That sounds like they've had a change of policy. I was on the phone with them back around the time I posted this and at that time, they would not do anything with the old account. They were very clear that I had to be the one to login to it and unlink it. Did they tell you the name of the account they unlinked? Did you know the username of the account that needed to be unlinked? I THINK I know what email I must have used for this old account of mine but am not 100% certain and they wouldn't tell me. I'll give it another go though since it sounds like they've changed something on their end.

@@almucantar104 the guy I talked to didn’t require me to login or anything. I just gave him the gamer tag of the XBL account I was trying to get in and he was able to unlink the account. He didn’t tell me the email associated with it or anything.
i did this it worked! You have to get contact with EA and tell them to unlink the previous account. Then you can connect current account to EA and thats done!
What I don't get is how can I connect to online servers and play on F1 2021 and 2019. I even went back on the ps3 and PS4 games and tried some of my skate series games and NFS games and all of them would not connect to the EA servers anymore. How could my credentials expired if I can still play F1 21 and 19 but not 22 ? EA really like messing with people

Same situation with an old deactivated yahoo account that I have absolutely no way of logging into. No way to unlink an EA account from your PSN account too which is crazy. The only other option is to delete your PlayStation account and lose everything you have purchased.
Just purchased nfs unbound and tried jumping straight Into online (single player doesn't Interest me as progress doesnt carry over) only to get this expired login credentials bs. Ive never had an ea account In my life🤦♂️After an hour or so of trying Im boutta just consider It an $80 loss
I have the exact same problem. Can't play any EA game on my PS4 Pro anymore. Tried everything. EA support is not helping as they say I have to reset my passwort with the right mail account. Always logged in with my PSN ID. So why is it not working anymore? Also I verified I am the right person holding the PSN ID account. They could even look up my PSN ID and said my credentials expired. So how do they know? They must have insight of the ea account information linked to my PSN account...This is so frustrating.
Finally, after so many attempts I was able to convince an EA employee via phone support to reset my password :) My gaming stats are lost, but I was able to keep my games, because I purchased them via PS Store. Happy Days :D
You have to call them directly. It depends on which employee you have on the line. I needed several attempts. Just be very friendly to them and explain your situation slowly. Good luck! 🍀

I'm getting the same issue with madden 23, and I got a brand new Xbox series x and it's doing this. I've reset my password 5+ times and it still pops up
It didn't work for me but through the EA website, login and look for the contact EA option. Find a phone number and call them. In some cases, they can reset the account so you can "link" your current email address to your EA account. It's been over a year or so since I tried this and I can't remember why it didn't work for me but I seem to recall it was something I had done trying to fix it BEFORE I managed to get a hold of EA. Or rather, before EA removed the old email address without me having any access to it. I had spoke with them before but they wouldn't remove it unless I could acknowledge ownership of the email account being removed. For some reason, the last time I called, they just removed it at my request. I don't know if this was a policy change or if I just happened to speak with someone willing to bend the rules.

Happening to me now. A filthy casual gamer who never gets on xbox spent 5 hours (gave up at 1am) just to get this ready and I went to bed so pissed. A long time fan and had numerous careers with mass effect, nfs and can't play a single thing even with ea access and xbox live (core wtf). Seems the older I get the more I just can't chill back. 34 and just can't do anything like you use to sucks. This online world can go jump! Bring back the off-line availability of games like nfs ug2 or most wanted. Too bad I can't play on those platforms any more just don't have the space with a little hurricane kid. Xbox sx was my last hope tbh. Guess I'll just wait for gta 6 and forward can go jump it's not my type
@Michael755e I managed to sort it out by recovering a old email I had no idea it was linked to and sure enough I got in. Unlinked it and added it to my new email account. Hopefully this shit never happens again
On Xbox for me, my first support yesterday was “we are doing updates try again tomorrow” I wanted to type “maybe I should unplug it and plug it in again”, but I didn’t. Immediately the case was closed
I had the exact same issue this week. TLDR: Fixed it in about 10 mins, sadly I lose all progress associated with this account. After conformation I just relinked the EA account with Xbox and done! Here’s how I fixed this issue for mirrors edge when it didn’t let me access UGC (I’m on ps5) So you wanna delete the game before you do this I went to settings < storage < saved data < ps4 < and then chose mirrors edge and I deleted the saved data and then I reinstalled the game, it asked me if I wanted to reinstall my saved data, I ignored it, the game reinstalled and it let me use my PSN for online features, maybe this will work for other games P.S. You still keep your trophies in case u wanna platinum a certain game
Think I have the best solution for the problem your gonna want to spam the page multiple times to the screen can glitch out then try to connect your ea play old account, your basically gonna create a brand new one using your new account when you do that refresh the page that says success password reset twice but keep that screen open and it should work try it out and lmk if it works or not..

@@mat8996 I ended up deleting NFS for the same reason. I had forgotten I had the issue before I bought UFC 5.

I created a new PSN ID and was able to login to my existing EA account. I did have to manually login to EA, I'm guessing because the emails for PSN and EA are now different, thanks to this fiasco. I got a big ol warning telling to make sure this is the account I want to use since you can only link the EA account to ONE PSN ID for the lifetime of the account ( I wonder if I saw this 15 years ago). You know, wouldn't want someone else with a different account to get anything for free... or take their existing customers into consideration and allowing for the possibility that over the course of 20 years someone might just create more than one account and forget some details.
The EA login screen looks like an old Android 2.0 interface. In case you don't Android versions, we're up to 13. No links to online website to make it easy, have to enter username and pw manually. Why mention this? Cause I'm frustrated at this money hungry, share holder focused company that seemingly cares little for the users.
Another thought occured to me. I still have my PS3 all hooked up. That HAS to be the console I signed into under a different PSN ID. I wonder if there is a way to unlink it that way. I did verify that I can unlink my EA account from this new PSN ID if I end up solving the issue.

@@malarkey5643 That worked for me on PSN. I can only assume that it will be the same on Xbox. First, I would log into your current EA account online and go to the account settings under your profile. There, you will see a "connections" tab. Click it and look for Xbox live. If you see nothing, that implies that there is indeed an old EA account linked to your current xbox live. Go ahead and create a new xbox account. If you see it linked to something, unlink it. Then try logging in again under your current Xbox live account. If it still doesn't work and you still don't have any xbox live account linked to your EA account, then try creating a new xbox live account.
You shouldn't have to do this if you contact them, they should update new email what you have to do is just proof that you're the owner of the account it was hook up to in the first place!

EA sucks they should fix the problem. All they gotta do is ENABLE E.A. ACCOUNTS to have multiple EMAIL ADDRESSES and create a link that deletes the old account, ATTACH IT to your NEW EMAIL....Job done.

This has happened to me since madden 24 is the first and only ea game i’ve ever played. never been able to play MUT despite having ps plus and only making an ea account for madden and resetting my password 4 times only for it to tell me that my login credentials have expired despite never even having an ea account at any point in time and i’m just sick of it at this point

Wow they had my account linked to an EA email and I had to lose all of my things in order to even play the game again. At least I got some kind of support unlike from blizzard but that's still so dumb they took my account from me just to give it back with nothing.
I have the same issue on NFS Unbound. I've tried to sign in to EA server when I'm playing NFS Unbound. I followed directions to reset my password and then nothing! The screen on my TV doesn't change.

Hey guys!! I just got off the phone with EA about 5 minutes ago resolving this issue. All you have to do is call, they’ll do the usual asking what you’re calling for, ask for your gamer tag/psn, and then they’ll unlink the EA account that you can’t remember which is more than likely the case. only bad thing is it deleted all data for other games that you have linked to that EA account like Apex but it does fix the QR code issue. Luckily I hadn’t used it in forever so I didn’t really care about the other games so hopefully you’re in that same boat!! Happy gaming everyone!!
That sounds like they've had a change of policy. I was on the phone with them back around the time I posted this and at that time, they would not do anything with the old account. They were very clear that I had to be the one to login to it and unlink it. Did they tell you the name of the account they unlinked? Did you know the username of the account that needed to be unlinked? I THINK I know what email I must have used for this old account of mine but am not 100% certain and they wouldn't tell me. I'll give it another go though since it sounds like they've changed something on their end.

@@almucantar104 the guy I talked to didn’t require me to login or anything. I just gave him the gamer tag of the XBL account I was trying to get in and he was able to unlink the account. He didn’t tell me the email associated with it or anything.

What I don't get is how can I connect to online servers and play on F1 2021 and 2019. I even went back on the ps3 and PS4 games and tried some of my skate series games and NFS games and all of them would not connect to the EA servers anymore. How could my credentials expired if I can still play F1 21 and 19 but not 22 ? EA really like messing with people

Same situation with an old deactivated yahoo account that I have absolutely no way of logging into. No way to unlink an EA account from your PSN account too which is crazy. The only other option is to delete your PlayStation account and lose everything you have purchased.

I have the exact same problem. Can't play any EA game on my PS4 Pro anymore. Tried everything. EA support is not helping as they say I have to reset my passwort with the right mail account. Always logged in with my PSN ID. So why is it not working anymore? Also I verified I am the right person holding the PSN ID account. They could even look up my PSN ID and said my credentials expired. So how do they know? They must have insight of the ea account information linked to my PSN account...This is so frustrating.

Finally, after so many attempts I was able to convince an EA employee via phone support to reset my password :) My gaming stats are lost, but I was able to keep my games, because I purchased them via PS Store. Happy Days :D

It didn't work for me but through the EA website, login and look for the contact EA option. Find a phone number and call them. In some cases, they can reset the account so you can "link" your current email address to your EA account. It's been over a year or so since I tried this and I can't remember why it didn't work for me but I seem to recall it was something I had done trying to fix it BEFORE I managed to get a hold of EA. Or rather, before EA removed the old email address without me having any access to it. I had spoke with them before but they wouldn't remove it unless I could acknowledge ownership of the email account being removed. For some reason, the last time I called, they just removed it at my request. I don't know if this was a policy change or if I just happened to speak with someone willing to bend the rules.

Happening to me now. A filthy casual gamer who never gets on xbox spent 5 hours (gave up at 1am) just to get this ready and I went to bed so pissed. A long time fan and had numerous careers with mass effect, nfs and can't play a single thing even with ea access and xbox live (core wtf). Seems the older I get the more I just can't chill back. 34 and just can't do anything like you use to sucks. This online world can go jump! Bring back the off-line availability of games like nfs ug2 or most wanted. Too bad I can't play on those platforms any more just don't have the space with a little hurricane kid. Xbox sx was my last hope tbh. Guess I'll just wait for gta 6 and forward can go jump it's not my type
@Michael755e I managed to sort it out by recovering a old email I had no idea it was linked to and sure enough I got in. Unlinked it and added it to my new email account. Hopefully this shit never happens again

I had the exact same issue this week. TLDR: Fixed it in about 10 mins, sadly I lose all progress associated with this account. After conformation I just relinked the EA account with Xbox and done! I chatted with support, yes its a bot. Good Luck!

We are unable to give you access of inactive EA Account however we can unlink it from your Xbox ID and then you can link new EA Account easily. Do you agree?:

Here’s how I fixed this issue for mirrors edge when it didn’t let me access UGC (I’m on ps5)
So you wanna delete the game before you do this
I went to settings < storage < saved data < ps4 < and then chose mirrors edge and I deleted the saved data and then I reinstalled the game, it asked me if I wanted to reinstall my saved data, I ignored it, the game reinstalled and it let me use my PSN for online features, maybe this will work for other games
P.S. You still keep your trophies in case u wanna platinum a certain game
