Sometimes cars come up that we cannot pass on, and that was the case for Steve in the middle of 2020. Steve came across a 1997 Lexus LS400 in beautiful Las Vegas, Nevada. The only problem was that it was 1500 miles across the country, in the middle of a pandemic. Clearly, Steve made it happen but we're wondering if it's even worth it? I got a $70k ls430 down the street when I moved to vegas for $3k it has had a lot of transmission problems, Evap leak that needs $600 fix that I don’t care about. Many valve cover gaskets so far we will see if it keeps going through them

I am stupid excited for the LS400 being given to me for free. Just needs the head gasket repaired. $1200 job. I look at it as just buying the car for $1200. Gonna VIP build it (no camber shit), and cruise it with some subs in the trunk.
I hear ya. I just put coilovers on mine added 2 12's and some work wheels. After that it's just maintenance. Payed 2200 I'm up to 5k now but the car needs nothing.

Im super happy with my LS400 did better than my 2014 Dodge Dart Dodge gave me too many issue my LS400 almost 300.000 miles same Motor same trans still burn rubber with ease and pulls good only problem I have is a knock sensor need to be replaced so Lexus is the way to go my opinion the most reliable car u can get but depends what ur looking for honestly 🤷🏻♂️

I just crashed my LS. These cars will keep going up in price just like the GS300/400. And yes, parts for this car fucking suck to find. Great car, smoothest ride ever (I've driven multiple AMG's and M's, they don't cruise the same). Also u can drift the fuck out of them and they won't break lmaoo
