I am so sorry about that, never had this issue before. Hopefully I can fix it without pulling the whole video down. Ugh, thank you for watching though ❤️
Hello! Just found you@@CreatedandMadeStudios!! Thank you SO much for what you share & how you share it. Re: audio - I thought "Oh she is experimenting .. I kinda like it! how creative!!" ☺Actually kinda works in this video, I embrace it! It's like a layered design 💫
😆 I love that lol! I found out that, to fix it, I would need to re-record it delete this one and upload a new one and I considered it. Then I was like...nahhhhh? Your comment helped me move on once and for all 😀 it'll be just fine. Thank you and welcome! ❤️
I've been enjoying your videos. You were recommended to me by Kirsten at Quirky Queen Journals AND Stefani at Coffee, Paper, Scissors on the same day. ❤
You do unique and interesting tutorials. Wish you would grow your channel and start posting regular content. I like the idea of artistic and unique card backgrounds and collage papers from your ideas.
@@CreatedandMadeStudios I like it! I wouldn’t want it on all the videos, but sometimes it’s nice when things don’t make perfect sense and you’re able to perceive things in a different way. It’s not that bad.
Great printing technique! Is that foam the kind of foam meat is packed on, but much thinner? I liked all of them; using embossing folders gives a neat look, by hand gives it a whimsical look. I love both! Also the lace and the mesh ribbon gives amazing effect. Where did you find that wide mes ribbon? Thank you for sharing all your amazing ideas👍
Hello! Yes they are that sort of material. That stuff can be used and also foam dinner plates. The foam made for this technique is a bit stiffer but the other stuff works too. Thanks for watching!
@@CreatedandMadeStudios thanks!! And foam dinner plates, going to try those first before I buy another stack of stuff. Thank you so much for all you do, so inspiring!!
Love this! Just wondering, do you happen to know how do these print plates differ from fun foam? Do they take texture/embossing better than foam sheets? Are they a stiffer material? They look fun!
I have never tried to emboss fun foam without heating it first. You can heat the foam and then press an EF against it. I doubt it would remain malleable long enough to run it through a die cutting machine. I could be wrong though. I’ve also never tried using an EF to emboss fun foam without heating it first. Usually I die cut fun foam or mark it up with tools--especially wood burning tools in order to make stamps. Fun foam is more elastic than these foam plates. These foam plates are polystyrene like Styrofoam cups and take out containers. Fun foam is EVA (ethylene vinyl acetate) like floor mats and flip flops. There are different kinds of EVA and they vary by the ratio of ethylene to vinyl acetate. Fun fact: Hot glue is EVA too. So is Simon Hurley’s Stamping Block line. Probably more than you wanted to know. I’m going to buy some of the Inovart foam sheets and compare it to fun foam. I have a ton of fun foam because I got the notion to make stamps from all of my dies a while back. I’ll try embossing fun foam with an embossing folder and let you know how it goes. Once I get the polystyrene sheets, I’m going to try die cutting them as well.
Lovely! Thank you for the information. I have a ton of foam sheets too….lol. I have used them as stamps, & what not, although, I’ve never used heat on them, nor sent them through an embossing folder. I guess I’ll have to order some of these printing plates & play as well. Thank you again….🌺
Hello! I think I know what fun foam is and this is different than that. It is like styrofoam so it does take etching and impressions better. It is stiffer, yes
These ideas are wonderful. You may want to consider re-uploading your video, though. The multitrack voice-over is often unintelligible and always distracting. I personally found it so annoying that I ended up muting the sound and viewing the subtitles. But otherwise, nice ideas for embossing textures and printmaking. You could also use these plates subtractively on an inked gel plate.
Hmm. I realize this video's audio is terrible. I am sorry about that!! Hopefully I can fix it somehow but, if not, subtitles work. Ugh. Thank you!
I thought I was losing my mind!
It was a great tutorial tho, and your designs are beautiful
I love them all, great ideas, anything will work with a patterned imprint, thank you for sharing.
Love your thinking outside the box, while saving cash. You go girl.
I love your creative experimentation and your hand drawn one was just beautiful!
You are brilliant! Thank you for opening up so many possibilities for me and my printing!
Great tutorial. Merci😊
love the concept. fyi Your audio is sketchy (echoed voice over in places)--dont know if there's anything you can do about it?

I hope you keep it as a voice landscape experiment! All the directions come through fine. Please keep it up! 🎶🎨🌼💙
These are really fantastic! I love that you used black on all of them.
Thank you so much Alison! Sorry about the audio ugh

Oh wow, thank you so much!! That is super cool to hear ❤️
My favorite was the lace. But then again, I am also a lacemaker (you want to talk about time consuming!??). So, love your work and style. ❤
Wow - lacemaker? That is so cool! Thank you so much, I appreciate the feedback!

This is really cool! I'm new to you and will be following you forever...lol
So cool with great results. I am wondering if I can try it with fun foam I have in the house and acrylic paint. I’ll let you know if I try it.
Thank you Donna - yes let me know of that works!
Wow! You are so full of awesome ideas! What fun
Glad you liked it, thank you so much! ❤️

AMAZING!! THANKS!
WOW!
Great! I want to try this.

Wooow 😮❤🎉
I ❤ your videos!!! Learning SO much. May I ask how you made the foam plates of the palm leaf and metal lace? Did you run them through a press?
Awesome
Thanks it was really educating but what is an embossing machine?
