Tilly, I am so happy I found you - your beaded tassels are the most beautiful I have seen, and you make them so neatly with such flair & care. Thank you so very much x

Hello from Georgia, US.!! Im so glad I came across your video! I cant wait to make these! They are beautiful!!! I'll be watching for more ideas and to see how you set up your craft room! Im in the process of setting up mine as well! I call it my " spair time " room!! 😊 Love your Bohemian charms!! Just lovely, I'll definitely give them a try!!
BEST beading video on here! You dont do a long intro and your voice is so easy to listen to. I like how you jumped right into how to do this. Using straws is a game changer as I need a large bead hole for stringing on yarn, fabric etc. Thank you for telling us about Callie Black's tutorials too. Hope I spelled her name correctly. My ancestors are British so I love having a new "cousin across the pond". Please show how we can actually put a long bead like yours to use. Thank you so much. I was always stuck in the paper bead rut, lol. Love these and i must try them! Cant wait to make some of these and watch some of your other videos. Thanks for sharing . I want to try to make some, but I'm not sure what or where to use them. After they are made, do you make them into a bracelet, necklace, or something else? I would like to know everything you do with them
Beautifully done! I have a stash of pretty paper straws, never quite knowing what in the world to make with them. This is such a great idea. Thanks for another very inspirational video.
Well.... I've just started junk journaling so I want to make a couple of big dangly things to hang off the spine. I can honestly say, yours are the nicest I have seen. And English hurrah 😀 🇬🇧 So .... Next time I'm in town im off to the works. Brilliant. Thank you. New subbie Blackpool xx

Hi Anne, thank you very much I'm so pleased you enjoyed it! That's how I work with my seed beads when I'm working with bigger quantities, it really is a time saver. 🌹
9:56 You could maybe stick one end of the wire into some left over polystyrene packing (that you find protecting items). Even making some thing that could take both the ends so the item was horizontal instead of vertical, if you were concerned about dripping. I used to use polystyrene blocks that I would otherwise throw away, and with the smaller "beads" fix them with a toothpick down the centre, so they could dry without rolling around accidentally. (Those were paper rolled beads, which I then varnished).
Hi Teresa, I'm so pleased you like it! I haven't done any videos for a while because we're having some building work done on the house and I haven't got a work studio at the moment, but as soon as it's finished I'll be making some more videos... I have loads of new videos I want to make :-D

Thank you, I really love making these! I sometimes attach a chain to either end of the longer beads to make a necklace... Or I use wire to wrap it around for a bracelet... I've used them to make bag/purse charms/danglies... I use them to decorate my dressing table and craft room. I make loads of them and have them just sitting in bowls because they just look so pretty :-D
Very nice beads and a good tutorial but the self focusing camera almost drives me insane. I hope your other videos don't have this feature because you are nice to listen to and clear in your information.
Yes, I'm sorry about the auto focus, I didn't realise when I was recording it that it was happening, but when I played it back it was awful ... It was driving me mad too so i know how you feel. I won't be making that mistake again :-)
Really enjoyed the tutorial. Lots of great tips. I’m so obsessed with boho beads. Do you buy your bead caps in bulk? Can you recommend online stores for them?
Thank you so much Lisa! I used to buy beads in bulk, but I haven't for a very long time... I tend to use what I have now and I also repurpose older broken jewelry.
@@TillyDouglas Thank you for your answer, so it is just a decoration that can be put anywhere, even on clothing and accessories. I saw your paper beads here ua-cam.com/video/v4FyzDmTD8Q/v-deo.html and they are wonderful, I really like the decoupage ones with the pink and beige paper. I like to use everything: paper, resin, wire and polymer clay, but I don't have a great technique, I make it up as I go along and I'm still happy with what I do. You've given me some ideas; I've been keeping the paper of an envelope from a purchase for a long time (years) that has a variegated beige background with beautiful roses in a slightly dark antique pink colour that take you to an atmosphere of the 1800s and romance: here, it's time to use it to make beautiful beads :)). I would like to buy a paper cutter, on Amazon I don't know which one to get, could you give me some advice so that I can also cut A3 sheets in obliguo? Or in any case a cutter that allows you to make obliguous cuts even with sheets larger than an A4 Thanks Tilly and sorry about my bad English (I am Italian) translated with DeepL translator
Hi Donna, I'm in the UK, and I bought mine from The Works... They are sold on Amazon, or look in your local supermarkets. There are a lot of places that sell them now because they are trying to get away from plastic straws.

Do all low temp glue guns work the same? Stick It is only UK. I'm in the US.
Hi Teresa, I assume they would work the same... To be honest, I really can't tell much of a difference between the hot and cool glue guns.
Whats the pointy brown end clasp thing? Where can I find them?
They are bead caps, you should be able to find them on Amazon or Ebay.
Where do you get paper straws?

ich hätte das video gerne zu ende geschaut. aber das ständige fokussieren der kamer macht mich verrückt 😢
Good tutorial. Maybe turn off auto focus though.
What kind of camera is that, it keeps clicking when it’s not in focus rather bothersome with the blurry and the clicking noise
Yes the camera is making a cranking clicking ticking sound like a clock or timer.
What gauge wire is that please? X
Hi Andrea, as far as I remember, this was a 24 gauge wire 🌹
It was 16 gauge, 24 is very thin and soft. I found that 20 was too soft and hard to work with. The higher the number, the thinner it is.

Is thete a way she can set it as fixed focus?
it is because of the difference in the thickness of the wire to the straw when they are closer to the camera.
love the beads, but the auto focus drove me bonkers
Camera phone clicking adjusting during video
