Go where the wind takes you the most fun way The wind will be right when it is for where you are meant to go Flexibility is the key Be thankful you have choices and options. I don't. We are thankful to just see you guys sailing Please don't overthink it Show us your everyday. Do life and not UA-cam
Your last comment is absolutely why people watch the different channels. UA-cam's ad model has definitely ruined a lot of them because these channels have moved to satisfy UA-cam instead of just doing life.
I, personally, don't care where you sail. I enjoy traveling and sailing with you wherever you go. My dad was fixing up an older wooden sailboat so he could sail in the keys and Bahamas. Hurricane Katrina destroyed that boat and then dad fell ill. He passed away without ever living his dream to sail and live on his boat. I now live vicariously through sailing channels. I just want to see you happy and sailing and going on adventures. Please don't make videos to please us because we're happier watching you when you're enjoying yourselves. Seeing you and Nick stressed is hard to see. Just have fun and go where the best winds take you. Love the new boat!!
I watch you guys because I like the two of you, not because of where or what you are doing. Your success on UA-cam has nothing to do with where you are going or how you do it, but who you are! Be authentic and everything else will be awesome!
Nick is absolutly right, we love your blog, but not to the extreme of making you fake it or unhappy. Be happy and try to share that happiness with us, whatever gets into the camera. I think that outsourcing as much as you can in the making of the programs will make things beter for you and beter for us. For example, I love Capt. Nick's english sarcasm and your sweetness, and that has nothing to do with places and panoramics. Please, be happy first, and then the blog. Love, OsoYolo, Antigua Guatemala.
Ok, Nick, you invited comments 😉 100% agree with you. Sailing can teach you to let go of your plans and go with the flow. Teresa, it’s inner resistance to what is, which is causing you discomfort and suffering, not what’s happening. Judging things as success or failure only adds to that suffering. And see how much happier you were when you stopped doing that, went with the flow and got the screeched up. Yay! Well done you 🥳
@@jameshodge694there are many reasons people choose to sail and/or live on a sailing vessel, to be honest. But it's an excellent opportunity to learn not to resist what is and discover that happiness is right here all the time, when we stop covering it up with stress, worry, regret, wishing things were different, etc, etc. That's what I was trying to get across. Teresa and Nick have an awesome life experience living on board RR2! But the mind can still manage to mess it up if one isn't vigilant. So it's a great chance to discover this by self-reflection :)
I would say relax and chill out and stop worrying about putting out episodes so frequently. What’s the point in doing it if you feel under pressure and are not enjoying it. Just look at what’s going on in Israel/Gaza, do you really have any problems? Take a break until you can get things in perspective and start enjoying what you have.
take this as you will.. I watch you because I'll never own a catamaran and I'll never get to sail around the world. I love just watching the sailing, not necessarily the destination but the journey to get there. In this episode I could have watched far more of Nick fixing the anchor thing that broke; I have no idea what it was, what it does, why it's so important, what was needed to fix it or what that fix was. My guess is that you looked at that fix and it was just one of those simple things you think no-one cares about but honestly, watching how much goes into maintaining a boat is always going to be better than some b roll of the perfect beach. :)
The thing is - you sharing the internal battle you have had over going to the National Park or not has actually led to some of the best content (in my not so humble opinion!) you have ever shared! That and the look of joy on your face when you successfully got the screecher sorted out made me feel good on your behalf! As 99.999% of commenters have said - you do you and don't worry about us! :-) Wishing you both a very Happy Christmas Richard (UK)
Sail for yourselves not for us, we are happy watching where ever you go even just sailing along. We are just recovering from devastating floods in cairns but everyone is helping each other. Love you both ❤❤
hey guys, I use that same Mantus bridal(not a snubber) system. it looks like you are hooking it onto your chain backward. hard to tell in the video but it looked that way. the "hook" side should point toward the anchor. I've never seen that Mantus system just pop off like that. In fact, my rubber strap has broken off long ago and we don't even use it. if properly sized to your chain it will stay hooked on. when you weren't pointing into the wind and the boat was perpendicular to the wind that is a clear sign you are dragging. Other telltale signs of dragging are if your bridal is "twitching" like a taught guitar string. The other tip I'd give is use Phyllis Nickel & John Harries method of deploying an anchor; which is to dump your chain all at once. don't try to pay it out slowly as you fall back from the anchor. I'm assuming you are using a Mantus anchor too. and I've found that method to be almost foolproof for getting the anchor to set.
I'm hesitant to say categorically that the Mantus hook is on backwards but that's what it looked like to me too. All the load then goes onto the strap first which it was not designed for. Again, hard to tell watching the video but that was my first reaction watching you put the hook on. Love your videos. Totally agree about cruising and schedule. Having a schedule is the quickest way to make sailing a chore.
We've been using the Mantus hook for years - a thousand anchor deployments. We go through a strap about once a year. The strap is for when when the bridle will drag the bottom and dislodge the hook. Like a few episodes back, it looks like Nick is still placing the hook onto the chain backwards, i.e, the claw is (incorrectly) facing the boat when placed on the chain, which unhooks from the chain when deployed, breaking the strap. The bridle has to essentially fold back on itself and THEN the hook is attached to the chain with the claw facing out towards the water.
@@nickcaballero6556 Fair point regarding the bridal on the bottom. Maybe i'll pick up an extra strap or two. though i suspect if my bridal is on the bottom, so are my keels; I'll have to see if my bridal can actually reach that far when slack.
@@olavthyvold2288 i went back to watch the video from a month ago that @nickcaballero6556 mentioned and in that video, you can see the hook is absolutely on backwards. And there have been comments in other videos pointing that out. Hopefully, they see these comments and in regards to their anchoring issues they could solve those issues by properly attaching the claw in the right direction and deploying the anchor correctly (Phyllis Nickel and John Harries method)
Go wherever you want... Well just come along! Don't worry about what YT wants. The beauty of YT is that we are along for your ride. We don't want a pre planned TV show sweetie! The pleasure of sailing is what we're after.
Regarding planning: You can plan as far as saying We plan to go here or there but you can't say you will go here or there on this day. The weather always has the last say. As far as content, we honestly don't care. 99.9% of us will never get to do what you do so we watch you do it and enjoy that, whatever it is. Film yourselves sailing, snorkeling, cooking in your galley, on a picnic, hiking trails we'll never see, and exploring the streets of towns and villages we'll never see. We enjoy it all.
I've mentioned this before, please dont take it as trolling......but......it really looks like you are attaching the mantus bridal claw backwards. The video is not very clear but do you have the claw end/head toward the anchor. Everytime i see you attaching the bridal it looks like you are pointing the end of the claw toward the boat......this appears to be backward, so when you apply tension on the bridal the claw rips off the chain. IMHO I would enjoy watching how you come to terms with the new boat and document how you grow into this new home, programed travel vlog part is less important (secondary). All the best with your new adventure.
I, personally, really enjoy your videos. I think, like everything in life, when things become routine they start to get tired, even if the content changes. Sometimes, a break or a change of dates can lead to a revival of interest. Beyond that, when the videos are presented like in television series, in a sequence of certain times, the sense of reality disappears under an artificial and staged feeling. good luck to you. have fun And don't worry about the spectators, they will have fun with you, when you have the chance and desire.
I for one can see that you “Nick Included “put your heart and soul into these videos you provide for us to watch. You guys need to do things for yourself and explore not only what you think we would like to see but for yourselves and hopefully we can come along for the ride with you. No matter what you guys decide to do I will be here to watch the content you share.
There is a discovery that I realized as a motorcyclist that you need to be in a very special place mentally to truly enjoy what you’re experiencing, I called it being in the moment, not anticipating the future or dwelling on the past. I would know if I reached this because the physical element of the machine would evaporate and I would feel as though I was floating. Even though I have done little sailing I suspect this holds true in this activity as well. ( and many other activities)
I have chronic pain and high anxiety when I leave my home. I am a retired nurse. I still do some creative woodworking but during my rest time I travel with you. Anywhere you go. Even to the factory where your beautiful catamaran was built and Nick learning another language. I watch 4 or 5 sailing channels. It lets me travel.
It's doubtful anyone comes here hoping to watch you having a crummy day. I think the majority appreciates watching and vicariously enjoying being able to go where the wind blows all of us. Being caught in rough weather during a passage is bound to happen but being able to just go with the flow, when able, is a dream we all share.
I've followed you guys for many years, from the very early days when you sailed and vlogged for pleasure. But like many other vloggers, as their subscriptions have grown the unrealistic sense that you need to produce bigger and better content takes over, then everything becomes a chore and the pleasure subsides. Both of you have to be happy first and foremost from the pleasure sailing gives you. We love that you share your experiences with us, but we don't need to be with you every step of the way. Nobody forces people to vlog their lives every week, fortnight, or month, that's a personal choice. Take a step back and produce videos when you feel that you want to, not have to, and get back to enjoying and loving life. ❤
Nick, I have that Mantus hook too, your problem is that you are attaching it in reverse, upside down. The hook needs to pull up, not down, meaning the clamps need to be towards the bow, and the ring of the hook needs to pull back. That is why it is not working for you :-)
Honestly as a filmmaker I can say its about taking people on a journey thats not necessarily planned but shows where you are and let your creativity flow , people you meet, experiences like food , massage , visiting places and let life happen unexpectedly create from that in a storytelling way with passion and it will all sync and inspire ❤
I would much rather see you both smiling and enjoying life and sailing than beating into the wind to visit a location for the sake of video that I doubt I could enjoy any more than I did this one. I believe your great videos will suffer if you’re not having fun! Love your videos and the new boat!
For me I love seeing anything about your daily boat life that you care to share which is so different to my life! Just the everyday stuff like cooking, shopping, general day to day living! I love it when people do uncut episodes! Maybe consider not trying to put so much pressure on yourself especially if it’s affecting your enjoyment of living the amazing different life that you do!
We did a 6 month cruise up and down the northeast coast of Australia. The best parts were where we just free sailed - no specific plan. We joined up with another boat for a week in the Whitsundays, sailing a few miles in the morning, stopping at an anchorage for lunch, then a few miles and dropping for dinner and night. No plan! Just sail in the nicest direction, doubling back if that is where the wind takes you. If the weather is not favourable, stay put. We could stay out, and did regularly, for 3 weeks with still a weeks provisions onboard. This was the best parts of our trip. Our worst parts were when we were on a deadline and this is where accidents happen because when you’ve on a deadline, you take unnecessary risks. Just go where the weather takes you. As others have commented, we are just along for the ride. If you change plans, do it for yourselves, not us! We will still be there, and respect you more for the change.
You've got lots of sensible followers here, giving you excellent support and advice. One of the happiest days of my life was when I moved onto the boat and realised I had no more deadlines. I can go wherever the wind and my mood takes me. That's the joy of cruising! Sail for you, Terysa, never for a job (admit it, that's what UA-cam is). Pick up the camera when the mood takes you; go for a sail when the time is right; stay somewhere you love for as long as you like. Couldn't agree more with Nick about changing plans at the drop of a hat when you're a sailor. It happens all the time. Relax, sister, go with the flow and let go. 😙🤓🙏⛵ Liz
Honestly, it doesn’t matter where you go! Life is wayyyyy to precious to waste it on stressing about what others may, or, may not think. Just do YOU two - wherever and however the wind takes you. We are happy just having the privilege of seeing your journey unfold 🙏
It's not very often I scream at the TV... For gods sake, do not loose yourself to a perceived obligation to you tube... The art of freedom, Nick has got it... The joy of the screecher set, and powering along, far out weights any national park... What is the sea law about schedules and sailing... um....
Have to echo the other sentiments here. I have never had any expectation of where you will be sailing. It's about the journey not the destination. It's good to see Nick give a realistic and honest view of what it's like to live on and run a boat of that size and also of You supporting each other along the journey. I genuinely have no recollection of you guys even mentioning a destination. That's how much it matters to me where you actually planned sailing to. So hoist the sails, look to that distant horizon and enjoy life's journey.
The best content is watching you two learn your new boat. Having fun and enjoying all the new toys. Getting the screecher up is a milestone and achievement and so glad we were along for the ride.
Just film what your day to day is like and the beautiful places you go and we’re grateful to go along for the ride and live vicariously thru you! No pressure and embrace the uncertainty since your life is dependent on the whims of Mother Nature!! ❤
Just so you know, I watch and fallow Sailing Ruby Rose because I like you . Were you go , what the plan is does not matter to me. I just want to watch you guys sail. If your just being yourselves, that's entertainment enough for me . Thanks for giving so many of us the privilege to share the journey with you through your great videos.
When I first found your channel it was your infectious laughter that attracted me to binge watch from the start! Not about where you were. So a happy Nick and Therysa is the perfect tonic!
Completely agree with that last comment about it not mattering. Don't over think it T. This was really good episode and I for one am with Nick. Why make life hard and have a little faith in the rest of us who are just enjoying the window into your adventures. It also great to see you guys bonding with that sailboat. Happy Christmas from Ireland.
You are sailors, wandering around the world, going where the wind takes, enjoying what you find there until you seek a change then choosing a downwind destination for your next adventure. Whether we have a boat or not, we are sailors too, tagging along. The spontaneity of your meanderings creates the excitement of the unknown for all of us to enjoy. It’s a road trip to anywhere and every where, just on the water. That’s where the romance is!
Regardless of “where” one lives…adapting to change is key to fulfilling life. My physical body is in constant chronic serious pain and adapting to not being able to do what I want is a requirement or I’m miserable. I change my plans so often according to what my body dictates (like wind changes). Park can happen another day. Those of us in forced rest simply enjoy everyday happenings on a boat.
Honestly, my favorite channels are people that just do their every day life without the thought of what they have to do for us to be entertained, I like the realism of some peoples day-to-day life I think that’s all you need to do❤❤❤
What is appealing is watching you have fun. These last few years have been extremely stressful with too much time apart. Film yourselves living your best lives on the new boat and enjoying or struggling with the experience and that keeps us entertained. Keep it loose. Thanks for all you do!
Absolutely agree with Nick - if it isn’t fun change the plan. There is no point in bashing into rough conditions if you don’t have to. If the weather doesn’t fit the plan, change the plan - and that could be stay put. Just show us another day in paradise. We’ve waited this long with you to get RR2, we can wait another week for the next destination.
Teresa I love the fact you have a plan of where you want to go and what you want to do, it gives you a direction to travel in, but as a fairly new sailor myself the way I like to look at that is like a battle plan. I want to go somewhere and do certain things and I work on that happening, but battle plans rarely survive intact with contact with the enemy. You need to change with what is going on around you. This video is the perfect example of that it doesn't mean you have failed far from it, it shows you adjusted your plan in accordance with outside factors to give you a more pleasant sail and still made great content a good example for anyone to follow! Fair winds and following seas.
The national park isn't going anywhere, film it when the wind takes you there. We're as happy to watch a great sail as we are watching a national park.
Thanks for sharing the struggle! As someone who consumes far more content than I probably should, I just enjoy watching you, and the Wynns, and others who are being authentic, including the struggles. I’ll probably never sail, but watching the joys and struggles is just as enjoyable as seeing the gorgeous places you get to go. Relationships, problem solving, self-care - the things that unite us all make great content! I found your channel from the Wynns, and I have been loving it! 💜
Therysa, I follow a number of UA-cam channels. Yours is one of only four that I have gone back to the ‘beginning’ to watch EVERY episode. This is because of you and Nick and Ruby Rose (1 & 2). I enjoy sailing and have wanted to sail around the world since I saw The Dove (1974 movie), as a child. I’m not able to do that myself, but very much enjoy following you and Nick on your journey. I follow you and Nick, because of YOU and NICK! You are such a beautiful person, filled with love, humor, hard work, and dedication. Nick makes me laugh with every episode. You make me smile and feel appreciated (as a viewer) every episode, simply for sharing who you are as you sail the world. Please, don’t get caught up in believing you have to produce specific content each week. I enjoy just being a passenger on Ruby Rose II, with you both, whatever it is that appears before you each day/week/month/year. Much love and warm wishes for fair winds and following seas.
I think if you are sailors, you go with the flow--wind and water. Watching you do that in each new episode is engaging, at times exciting, and its own reward. Happy sailing!
I think most of us agree.... We enjoy seeing you guys doing what makes YOU happy. Document what you're doing, don't do stuff just to document it. Make the right choices for YOU, not us! We love to watch all same.
Make joy your compass setting. Do more of what brings you joy and just go with the flow. Thanks for taking us all along for the ride, us dreamers and sofa sailors. We love you ❤x
Do what makes you happy, just so long as the bills get paid. I for one tune in to see the two of you , regardless of what you are doing. Please enjoy life, I.have no plans to stop watching you do just that.
Good luck on balancing, good on ya for recognizing it !!! I think we enjoy seeing beautiful pictures, but we come back each week for you guys, your story. Really appreciate all the videos and especially the honesty!
Remember when RR2 was in a warehouse and Nick took us on scooter rides to get coffee and we got to see the countryside, almost as an aside? That was just a day in his life. No special content, and we all went along because it is different than what we are currently doing and its Nick showing us how his life is different from ours and what his used to be. We were all happy to see Theresa come back to the boat. Not only because of the content that is surely to be created, but because it completes the Nick/Theresa/RR2 family unit. That's content in itself.
We follow because of you guys. You are worrying too much. I appreciate your concern, but, don't take on the stress. You're over thinking it. I've watched channels that have turned back 2 hours into their sail. No biggy. Have fun.
The content really is the both of you…yes the beautiful places are nice to see…but the content, for me, is about your experience; how you work together when the snubber fails, decision making on a course, or identifying sailing risks are just as interesting as the picturesque anchorages. Keep on doing what you are doing: it’s just nice that you’re letting us tag along🙂
As I watched your discussion about destination with Nick, it occurred to me that there's a difference between 'goals' and 'plans'. Goals are far more flexible, while plans are exact and far more stressful to accomplish.
Please let me say this - I believe the important content is you and Nick and the two of you are also our context - that's evidenced by how we all missed you when you were off-line. As Chevy Chase said in Caddyshack about golfing "be the context T" - You and N. are loved - embrace it. ❤ Jack in Houston, Texas.
The charm in your channel is when you do stuff..any stuff. Living g vicariously through you is my only goal. If I were sailing right now, id want to go wherever the wind takes me. The last thing I'd want to do is be on a schedule. Pretend we're with you for the ride. We are not children requiring entertainment...well maybe, just a little, but it doesn't take much to entertain me. I just like the voyage..where ever it takes us. Do what you would normally do if you had guests on the boat? Chatting, enjoying the view, troubleshooting, sailing eventually. Honestly, half the entertainment is watching Nick lose his 💩.
Sailing is a metaphor for many things in life. The wind is neither punishment nor reward, it just exists on its own. It does not care how hard you try. While the national park sure would have been nice, an episode about the wind and how you feel about it actually is more interesting. Everybody could visit a national park. Few know what it is like to live with the wind.
Teresa, we love the videos that you & Nick make. We will always love going for the ride! no matter where or when you guys go! It's nice and fun to watch you guys sail. Don't be hard on yourself. Take time to enjoy life no matter what you are doing.
I enjoy watching the life you are creating. Some days are going to be full of fascinating activities or beautiful scenery. Some days are about the luxury of owning your time. Thank you for taking us along for the sail.
Frankly, Terysa, I'm entertained by your relationship, and your sailing. The banter between you and Nick, and the little educational tidbits you distribute each week is what brings me back week after week. (oh, and the boat too!) The hikes and field trips are awesome, but they're icing on the cake compared to your everyday adventures. Thank you to all the time and intentions you put into your posts! It's greatly appreciated!!!
Hi Guys. We had great anchoring success attaching our bridal to the chain when using a soft shackle. We attached it by passing the shackle through a chain link and back to a loop in the bridal. In your case 2 loops. Less wear on the boat as it comes up and down and is a simple and easy way to attach / detach the snubber. Once you get the correct size shackle the only other issue is wear but as you know dyneema wears well.
I’ll second that but suggest you leave the shackle joining your two bridles in place and attach that to the chain with a soft shackle. Or, get a claw from Ultra Anchors, their’s works well. Also, we use a safety on the chain in front of the windlass. It’s a claw on a beefy piece of dyneema to a cleat near the windlass, we hook it on the chain and then pay out chain until there is slack in the chain coming off the windlass, that way, if the bridle fails, the anchor load is carried by the safety rather than the windlass.
Ditto on the soft shackle after many hardware failures. Been doing this for the last 2 seasons in the Med. using a self made 8 mm dyneema soft shackle in a 10 mm chain. Suffers alot of abuse and never failed. Good luck
I look forward to every episode. It doesn't have to be about "national parks" or "crazy entertaining" for me to follow. I think we all realize this is about your day to day life on a (beautiful new) sailboat. Kinda agree with Nick here. Just do your own thing, change things up if it makes you feel good. We will happily watch every episode anyway..........and wishing we were aboard!!
Your travels are the story, just glad you are taking us along for the ride. Don't stress about pleasing us. If you guys are happy and enjoying yourselves that comes across in your videos. Results...you make better videos.
I agree with Nick. You are a channel showcasing your experiences in sailing and taking us along the way. Sometimes you need to see the signs and follow your gut, not force yourself. Planning content is fine but I reckon it is better to be flexible on yourselves because if you are happy then this happiness will reflect on the content you create. Enjoy!
The national park will always be there,,, seeing you both enjoy the skreatcher sail and be excited about your growing knowledge of your new home was much more enjoyable for me and most likely others as well.
I enjoy watching you two wherever you are and whatever you do. Take care of yourselves. If you are happy with where you are and what you are doing, it will show in your content!♥️
Your working to hard We are here to share your experiences and to get away from our boring lives on shore You could literally set a GoPro on your roof and record that and I would watch This was a great episode as it wasn’t planned You two are free Go with the flow and we will watch Hope you and nick have a fantastic Christmas
I've been a subscriber for a number of years, I will be honest I fast forward / skip a lot of the 'travelogue' content. Most sailing channels are turning into travel channels, I want to see sailing videos, so don't really care what the destination is, I'd like to see more detail in how you set a course, tack, jibe, deal with issues, reefing etc. You are nice sailers (sailors???) Teach us more what it is actually like sailing. Keep up the great work. Cheers
Having the ability to change plans is a valuable thing. The story of changing tack is content in and of itself. It’s honest, real, and what some of us aspire to.
Sailing is going where the wind will take you safely and comfortably. If you set deadlines on destinations, a motoryacht will be more suited. If you or Theresa feel uncomfortable, then pushing for a destination is just wrong. No apologies needed. Just go with the wind and seastate
Doesn’t matter where you take us. It’s about you and Nick.
Thanks mate
I whole heartedly agree. It's more about the two of you having a joyous time than getting to where you 'planned' to be.
We are just enjoying the ride.

The main reason you sail is to be free and follow the winds enjoy your time being free and safe travels
Absolutely agree. Remember, both of you: you PAID for this - worked hard! *It’s supposed to be fun!* Let go, and go with the flow…
Wishing you both a very Happy Christmas
Richard (UK)
Whatever you do is content gold. Do what you love as this is where the best of your films come from xxx
Sail for yourselves not for us, we are happy watching where ever you go even just sailing along. We are just recovering from devastating floods in cairns but everyone is helping each other. Love you both ❤❤
Stay safe. We saw the flooding on the abc. Hope all ok with you
No question about it. Sail for yourselves and film what you do. Enjoy the journey.
I agree with others. Go wherever you want and we will gladly come along for the ride!
hey guys, I use that same Mantus bridal(not a snubber) system. it looks like you are hooking it onto your chain backward. hard to tell in the video but it looked that way. the "hook" side should point toward the anchor.
Ditto!
Beyond that, when the videos are presented like in television series, in a sequence of certain times, the sense of reality disappears under an artificial and staged feeling.
good luck to you.
have fun
And don't worry about the spectators, they will have fun with you, when you have the chance and desire.
That is why it is not working for you :-)
Just sail! That's it! We will watch regardless! Don't let being a "content creator" suck the life out of you! Enjoy your lives!
it is said that a sailor doesnt complain about the wind: he learns what best to do with it.
Same can be applied to life in general.
NO SCHEDULE, WHEN THE WIND BLOWS THERE YOU GO but ONLY IF YOU WANT.😊
I would much rather see you both smiling and enjoying life and sailing than beating into the wind to visit a location for the sake of video that I doubt I could enjoy any more than I did this one. I believe your great videos will suffer if you’re not having fun! Love your videos and the new boat!
It doesn't matter where you go, we love watching you and Nick on the boat ⛵..
Take it easy, you have a beautiful new boat and a great partner, life is an adventure and we love to see your adventures as real not staged.
For me I love seeing anything about your daily boat life that you care to share which is so different to my life! Just the everyday stuff like cooking, shopping, general day to day living! I love it when people do uncut episodes! Maybe consider not trying to put so much pressure on yourself especially if it’s affecting your enjoyment of living the amazing different life that you do!
just get Nick to shout and swear and I'm happy
Copy that mate
Had to chuckle Nick but chill pall, remember happy wife happy life
ENJOY your selves & Merry Christmas
Cdn. Dave
😙🤓🙏⛵ Liz
Beautifully said by my other favorite sailing channel… 🙏
Wise words from a wise sailor 👏
Exactly, if you can make an episode out of what you did that's fine, if you can't make the intended trip, just go with the flow!
Think of us as having a dog on board, we are happy to be with you two and just happy to ride along with you.
Do what make you guys happy. Most of us are just happy you bring us along.
You guys do you.....please just bring us along for the ride.
Thanks mate, we will
Just so you know, I watch and fallow Sailing Ruby Rose because I like you .
No pressure just gi with the wind. Love your videos.
Honestly, my favorite channels are people that just do their every day life without the thought of what they have to do for us to be entertained, I like the realism of some peoples day-to-day life I think that’s all you need to do❤❤❤
Agree
Definitely. There's reality and then there's reality TV. If I wanted the latter, I would be watching Lifetime instead of Ruby Rose.
Agree
Don’t let UA-cam get in the way of your life and your travels. We will be watching whatever you choose to put up. Love the videos👍
It’s all about you guys, the day to day of living the dream, good & bad. You do great work, try and relax and enjoy it, if you do, we will. 👍
What is appealing is watching you have fun. These last few years have been extremely stressful with too much time apart. Film yourselves living your best lives on the new boat and enjoying or struggling with the experience and that keeps us entertained. Keep it loose. Thanks for all you do!
I don’t care which beautiful place you pick. All good
Absolutely agree with Nick - if it isn’t fun change the plan.
Cheers Doug
Thanks for sharing the struggle! As someone who consumes far more content than I probably should, I just enjoy watching you, and the Wynns, and others who are being authentic, including the struggles. I’ll probably never sail, but watching the joys and struggles is just as enjoyable as seeing the gorgeous places you get to go. Relationships, problem solving, self-care - the things that unite us all make great content! I found your channel from the Wynns, and I have been loving it! 💜
Thanks so much for your kind words, and welcome to our channel
Much love and warm wishes for fair winds and following seas.
thank you for bringing us along on where ever you take us, there are other channels for adventures and stuff. just being you guys is enough !!!
I think if you are sailors, you go with the flow--wind and water. Watching you do that in each new episode is engaging, at times exciting, and its own reward. Happy sailing!
I don’t normally comment, but when you both are just being you that is what keeps me following. Keep up the great vids, love your journey.❤
Haha Nick being the more laid back one for once... 420ftw😅 Seriously, you guys are great. Sail when and where you want!
For sailors plan's are written in sand at low tide. Be happy, be safe
Cheers mate
That was beautiful
Sailing is all about not having a schedule since nature does what it wants when it wants and it is up to us to just relax and enjoy the journey.
We follow because of you guys. You are worrying too much. I appreciate your concern, but, don't take on the stress. You're over thinking it. I've watched channels that have turned back 2 hours into their sail. No biggy. Have fun.
Thank you guys for all you do. Don’t worry about pleasing us just enjoy the journey, we are with you both.
Stay flexible and go to the places that make you happy.
Amen to that
The content really is the both of you…yes the beautiful places are nice to see…but the content, for me, is about your experience; how you work together when the snubber fails, decision making on a course, or identifying sailing risks are just as interesting as the picturesque anchorages.
Well.
We don't drive when it is snowing unless we have to.
Plans change and you adapt.
Happy Holidays to all!
We’ve had a mantra on our bridal for the last year. Only time it has had an issue is if you connect it backwards.
That was serious click bait!! More than happy to just follow where ever you guys end up. So relax a lot more, sadly Nick is right!!!!!
Yeah mate, sometimes you have to just change plans and direction
Your travels are the story, just glad you are taking us along for the ride. Don't stress about pleasing us. If you guys are happy and enjoying yourselves that comes across in your videos. Results...you make better videos.
My goodness we are coming along with what YOU’RE doing even if it’s nothing much at all. Just raw sailing is relaxing. ❤
We don't need fancy trips, or having you stress about content. Just film YOUR life, you film what YOU want!!!! No more stressing!!! ❤❤❤❤
Yeah , do what you want to do , you can always film that 😃🍻🥂
I enjoy watching you two wherever you are and whatever you do. Take care of yourselves. If you are happy with where you are and what you are doing, it will show in your content!♥️
Your working to hard
We are here to share your experiences and to get away from our boring lives on shore
You could literally set a GoPro on your roof and record that and I would watch
This was a great episode as it wasn’t planned
You two are free
Go with the flow and we will watch
Hope you and nick have a fantastic Christmas
I've been a subscriber for a number of years, I will be honest I fast forward / skip a lot of the 'travelogue' content. Most sailing channels are turning into travel channels, I want to see sailing videos, so don't really care what the destination is, I'd like to see more detail in how you set a course, tack, jibe, deal with issues, reefing etc. You are nice sailers (sailors???) Teach us more what it is actually like sailing. Keep up the great work.
Cheers
Enjoy seeing the story about your real-life experiences .
Exactly this mate
