You have the coolest lawn tools! I replaced all my old Toro sprinkler heads with Hunter MP Rotators that save 30% water. But did it the old fashioned way and dug everything out to replace. I did a few heads at a time over two or three weeks, so it wasn't as painful. Once replaced, I tossed the old dug out soil, and filled the area around the sprinker with half masonry sand, half lawn soil. That way if I ever have to dig them out again, its much easier to dig than the old clay soil that was there originally.
This is exactly what I need. Living in So Cal desert the sand builds the lawn up and after so many years the sprinkler heads are down a lot further then is efficient for watering lawn.
This is second video of yours I watched and they have been really useful for the issues I have with my SoCal lawn. Finding lawn info specific for our area is really helpful because grass here, versus Michigan for example, is such a struggle. Thank you, I’m subscribing. 👍
Glad you found some value. I appreciate the support and anytime you need anything please feel free to reach out to me on instagram at Socallawnnorder. 😎🌴
This is exactly what I need as a woman not wanting to dig out all of the sprinkler heads around my entire lawn. Just found another lawn diy memorial day weekend project. SN: Your baby boy is adorable and you speak so sweetly to him too. Great dad and great video! I will subscribe and hit the 🔔. #lawnfanatic
Thanks for the kind words, glad you found something to help you out. They are truly easy to use. Price is little bit on the high end but, to me if I don’t have to break the back, I’m good. I appreciate you stopping by. 🙏
Having a problem with one of many I installed and was wondering how to remove the Kap It and trouble shoot the riser that's not elevating smoothly. Thanks for the great video, you helped sell me on the product
If you can lift the riser and use a vice grip to lightly hold the inner riser up, you should be able to remove the extended riser and check it out. If that doesn’t work reach out to Kap-It on instagram and they respond fairly quickly.
thanks Kyle, I never knew about this cool little kit. Last year it took me an hour and half to raise 17 sprinklers with risers and couplings, never again. This Kap-It is awesome.
I have been paying attention more to things in the Big Box stores and talking to those who do lawn care for a living. Lots of items out there we don't know about. 👊😎🌴
Yeah, KAPing IT was simple and easy. Just KAPed the left side of my home. A couple of days from today I'll KAP the other side. 8 in all. Now, all grass in range gets wet.
That’s good to hear. They really are worth it in the long run. I have had a few installed for over a year now and still going strong. I appreciate you watching and subscribing. Be safe
@@LawnNOrder tks for responding. Question. Ya think I can Kap a Kap? Still need ta get an inch or so more in water range. ACTUALLY, I just listened to your video again and you mentioned that the pack comes with 2 Kaps and risers. This tells me that I can put 2 Kaps on 1 sprinkler head...
I told the guy that put my lawn to put in taller sprinklers because I knew the lawn would get thicker and I cut my lawn in the higher setting. The higher setting allows the grass to be tall enough to: Shade the soul from the heat. Not allow sunlight to reach the seeds of weeds. Have a deep rich color.
These work amazing for that situation. I believe they are like $10 for 2 sets at Home Depot. I had the same issues. My sprinklers were to low and in the summer when I kept it at 4.25” the sprinklers were to short.
If you can get the cap off the old sprinkler head, check the alignment between the Kap it and sprinkler cap. You might be able to set it on the ground or a table and try tapping it on with a rubber mallet or pushing it down with body weight.
I buy a 75cent extension that goes on the bottom, and I can replace in 5 minutes without digging it out ( I do dig about and inch or 2) not gonna pay 5 dollars to raise one.
That’s the beauty of it all! You have options that fit your budget. Me personally, I am not going to dig up 17 heads again to place risers on them. This method is easier and cheaper for me and the time it takes. Guess I didn’t gain your subscription to my channel. Thanks for watching and be safe.
Sorry to hear that. I spent good penny last year raising mine. I am so glad I found these and I no longer have to dig. You now have an alternative for the future. 😎
My apologies. I didn’t think $10 was pricey for me considering I pay $4 for 4” pop rainbows with a check valve, and I know the prices may vary a bit by state. I’ll try to include prices in the future. Thanks for the comment and watching. Be safe

That’s a great idea. I’ll have to try that out on my backyard when it’s time.

The work great. I haven’t had any issues with any of the ones I installed last year. You won’t be disappointed. 😎
Looks good nice work on the install. Thanks for the video on the K-It products Kap-it and Kut-it.
Thank you for such a great invention. New customer for life. 👊😎
@@LawnNOrder Thanks, we have a couple other ones that will be coming out later this year. Thanks for the support and the video.
Let me know when they are out I would love to do another video on them. 🌴😎👊

That was pretty easy to install! If I had irrigation in-ground this kit would be helpful to raise heads
Definitely a quicker and easier fix for sunken sprinkler heads, great little product. Thanks for the support Andy.
Just installed one this weekend. Works great and SO EASY !
I have had no issues since installing mine. They work great.
That thing is pretty cool. Well done Chris. 👍🏼👊🏼🇺🇸
Thanks Nathan, Never again will I use the ole nipple and coupler extension. This was way easier. 😎👊
Pretty cool tool to add to your arsenal
Super easy and the price is well worth it. They work great. No Issues at all. 👊😎
Huge difference on those before and after clips. Nice video!
They definitely come in handy and I love the no digging needed. 😎👊

Very cool and great find along with the easy out. That is one thick lawn you have there :)
So far so good. They work really good and are easy to use. Thanks for the support Keith👊😎
Looks easy will hopefully be able to do this. Need the tool to dig out the sprinkler. TY
If you can’t find the tool, a small hand trowel or shovel will work as well. They really do come in handy. Thanks for watching
That’s a great find and great demo video. I’ll keep this in mind. 👍
They work great. So far so good on my system. No issues. Just this heat lol.
Great solution to a common problem! Great value. I love the tabletop review before the field work. Awesome video bro 👊🏼

Good tip Chris thanks for sharing this
These Kap it kits definitely come in hand and save the ole back from digging. 🌴😎👊
Dang Bro! You got all the cool gadgets. Thanks, for the heads up on this. I’m going to have to get one too 👍🏻🔥🤙🏻

I don’t see why not. If it’s in an area that doesn’t have foot traffic, you might be able to use just the extension.
Looks like a pretty cool fix! Great video bud! 💪🏻
A lot easier than all the digging I had to do last year. Definitely worth having in the garage just in case. Thanks for the kind words. 🌴😎👊
Thanks for the video!!!
Your very welcome. Thanks for watching. Hopefully you consider coming back.
Great video! Do you have a link to that tool you used to dig around it?
Hey thanks for watching Wayne Tech. You can pick the tool up at Home Depot or Lowes. I don’t think they are on Amazon yet.
I might have a in ground one day 🥲
I admire all those that don't have in ground. True dedication to keeping the lawn green without an in ground system 😎👊
Awesome!!!

Thank you for the compliment. I try my best to be the shining green of the neighborhood. 👊😎🌴
Can’t get the Kap -it to snap down on my Hunter spray nozzle.
Can you send me a picture? Thelawnnorder@gmail.com
Can be raised higher than inch ans a half? I need maybe 2-1/2
Unfortunately they can’t. I haven’t seen a 2” riser. I will try and contact them and see what I can find out about a longer riser for you.
What should I do if it won’t click?
Are you meaning it won’t click on top of the current sprinkler head?
@@LawnNOrder yes. I had fixed another one with no problem it clicked but this one just wouldn’t click.

Geez!!!!!
I just spent $205.00 for ( 4ea ) 8 inch pop-up nozzles about a month ago…..🤦🏾♂️😡
