When I lived in Japan, almost everyone wore black and brown together especially with shoes, and it works. I also work as a Stylist and my supervisor actually told me not to put black navy together for clients (!), which is kind of weird to me. I think black goes with everything. WTH. Lol.

Completely disagree. I hate high waisted jeans. It's the only thing I can find these days. For people who are shaped with long legs and very short waists, high waisted jeans come up extremely high. It's about dressing for your body shape- it's a real thing.

I thought they were the ugliest shoes I had ever seen in my life, like a clown shoe made sneaker. Two years later I got my first pair and never stopped using them.

Love this video Sam! On the note of the camel toe comment, I would say that there is a difference between shaming people for having one and thinking it’s unflattering on you. The whole idea of positivity is just to let others dress the way they want! If they think wearing cycling shorts looks good and they don’t mind the other aspects, that’s their right. The same goes for dressing for your size/shape/height... everyone will like different things in their bodies and that’s fine! I used to say the same about kitten heels, a proper heel or flats. Then I had a car accident and had back surgery so now I can't really use proper heels (I only do it in special ocasions or when I know I'm gonna be sitted most of the time) or I'm going to be in pain the next days. I bought a pair from Zara last year to try and I kinda got used to them, now I have a few and I actually love how classy and chic they look.

I also hate Kitten Heels but because I’m nearly 6foot I can’t wear normal heels as I’m big built I look like a bloke so I have to wear kitten heels when I’m going to a “fancy” party and I hate it! Sam, you should have the kitten heel heel caps changed at the cobblers. They will replace it with a harder heel cap that wears at a very slow rate. I do this with all my favorite shoes that I plan to wear a lot. It’s also really affordable. I love all of your videos ❤️❤️❤️
I totally agree about the scrunchies. They're actually super useful for keeping your hair up and not leaving lines in your hair but when I wear them out I literally just feel like an 80s mom! I also hate the cycling shorts trend so much! I think it looks so dumb especially when celebs/ instagrammers wear like a matching cycling short/ crop top set with dad sneakers ugh god make it stop

Haha this is great. My unpopular fashun opinion is that I hate having to make the choice between style/trend and comfort/practicality. There are certain times when I do go for style over comfort, but I hate it the whole time (I'm talking about women's pants without pockets, or the crazy under wiring you have to have with heavier boobs, or trendy shoes on my flat, wide hobbit feet)
My opinion is Gucci bags! So boring and everyone is carrying around the same bag and it’s not even that good looking! I know most get it to look and feel expensive and show off, but that says alot to me! There are honestly nicer bags at H&M. But I send love to the designers of the luxury bags but I honestly do not feel them; not my style. I want to carry something that not every woman carries. And mine is cheaper! Winning!😅😋 And I always worry saying my opinion because I don’t want to talk badly but opinions are okay, they are just opinions; people will still wear what they want. The luxury bag lovers probably has opinions about my bags, and that’s okay. 😄

I find the whole “dress for your shape” thing interesting and if I like one of the suggestions I’ll try it out. If I don’t like it I don’t do it and if I do like something that the rules say is bad then I’m still going to wear it. I would never actually follow all the rules or do it all the time. I know that some people do though and it’s like where’s the fun in that??? Do they even like what they wear or do they just feel like it’s what they need to wear? I think that’s my biggest fashion pet peeve when people impose “fashion rules” on themselves or others!

I agree completely with the hoops! I've managed to work around it by wearing "dangling/suspended" hoops instead or picking hoops with a pattern or a mix of colours instead

I agree! Another one for me is asymmetrical tops. Like one-sleeve tops I will never get. I try to get on board but I just can't.
It’s a shame that all the negativity on UA-cam makes you wary of sharing even simple preferences and opinions. I don’t blame you. It’s brutal out there. You must have impressively thick skin. I just wish it wasn’t that way.

Love this video Sam! On the note of the camel toe comment, I would say that there is a difference between shaming people for having one and thinking it’s unflattering on you. The whole idea of positivity is just to let others dress the way they want! If they think wearing cycling shorts looks good and they don’t mind the other aspects, that’s their right. The same goes for dressing for your size/shape/height... everyone will like different things in their bodies and that’s fine! The way you said it is perfect: I don’t like it on me, but don’t go telling others it looks bad on them. Keep making real, hilarious content. Love you 💞

I used to say the same about kitten heels, a proper heel or flats. Then I had a car accident and had back surgery so now I can't really use proper heels (I only do it in special ocasions or when I know I'm gonna be sitted most of the time) or I'm going to be in pain the next days. I bought a pair from Zara last year to try and I kinda got used to them, now I have a few and I actually love how classy and chic they look.

I agree with you on scrunches! I love the look of them but I can’t pull them off. I also hate Kitten Heels but because I’m nearly 6foot I can’t wear normal heels as I’m big built I look like a bloke so I have to wear kitten heels when I’m going to a “fancy” party and I hate it! I really thought that hoops would suit you!
Sam, you should have the kitten heel heel caps changed at the cobblers. They will replace it with a harder heel cap that wears at a very slow rate. I do this with all my favorite shoes that I plan to wear a lot. It’s also really affordable. I love all of your videos ❤️❤️❤️

I totally agree about the scrunchies. They're actually super useful for keeping your hair up and not leaving lines in your hair but when I wear them out I literally just feel like an 80s mom! I also hate the cycling shorts trend so much! I think it looks so dumb especially when celebs/ instagrammers wear like a matching cycling short/ crop top set with dad sneakers ugh god make it stop
this was so fun to watch Sammi! my unpopular fashun opinion is that low rise jeans are awful, crop tops are over, the old sportswear brands need to stop being relevant and yeezy style is grim!!
Haha this is great. My unpopular fashun opinion is that I hate having to make the choice between style/trend and comfort/practicality. There are certain times when I do go for style over comfort, but I hate it the whole time (I'm talking about women's pants without pockets, or the crazy under wiring you have to have with heavier boobs, or trendy shoes on my flat, wide hobbit feet)
My opinion is Gucci bags! So boring and everyone is carrying around the same bag and it’s not even that good looking! I know most get it to look and feel expensive and show off, but that says alot to me! There are honestly nicer bags at H&M. But I send love to the designers of the luxury bags but I honestly do not feel them; not my style. I want to carry something that not every woman carries. And mine is cheaper! Winning!😅😋 And I always worry saying my opinion because I don’t want to talk badly but opinions are okay, they are just opinions; people will still wear what they want. The luxury bag lovers probably has opinions about my bags, and that’s okay. 😄
Aaliyah Westin Yeah I kinda agree with you on the Gucci bags. I do really like luxury bags but the Gucci bag feels a bit “meh” to me. I think it’s because it’s everywhere on social media etc and it’s a bit too trendy or something (even though it does have a classic look)?

Two other items and one will be controversial - denim skirts !!! I don't suit them period! They're too boxy and rigid for my figure. 6: anything velvet or crushed velvet
7: neon
8: stockings and sneakers
The trends I hate are tiny sunglasses, because they do not look good on anyone, the bum bag over the chest looks so stupid, and the cycling shorts are just a no.
Agree with the colours! When I was younger I always said that pink and red don't match, same with black and brown, and tbh now I love it! Idk if it's because I work in fashion now and therefore am more open minded to that in particular but I agree with you. As for the dior saddle bag... hate it on the streets but love it on the runway 😂
I find the whole “dress for your shape” thing interesting and if I like one of the suggestions I’ll try it out. If I don’t like it I don’t do it and if I do like something that the rules say is bad then I’m still going to wear it. I would never actually follow all the rules or do it all the time. I know that some people do though and it’s like where’s the fun in that??? Do they even like what they wear or do they just feel like it’s what they need to wear? I think that’s my biggest fashion pet peeve when people impose “fashion rules” on themselves or others!
