My 19 year old self approves, my 39 year old self is starting to do financial calculations in my head. Loving this guys, super informative, like the way you've shown people how to plan out sequencing isn't too far different to what they teach you in a post grad engineering degree! I'm going to enjoy this moving forward!
Option B on wheels looks good. Option C is too stock looking, ok if you want a sleeper look. Thanks for sharing video, those brake and suspension parts look awesome but Im picking they cost a pretty penny.
Question on the Tubular front, does this setup also mimic the shelby drop where as the camber is kept more uniform on a lowered car and through suspension travel, looks like the top arm is dropped compared to factory?
Deep dish aftermarket rims would look good for a street look, 10's on the arse and 8's on the front Although the stock Ghia rims for a sleeper look works too.. watch ya back mark, Jase did a pretty good job... :)
Have you guys overlooked the engine cross member ? XF's were only engineered to take a 6 cyl, so the crossmember was made from thin high tensile steel, ass opposed to thicker ones used in previous models. The Barra is really gonna stress that frame. The issue is cracking where the crossmember meets the base of the shock tower/engine mount. All XF's are prone to it, same as F100's. Info supplied to me by 2 RTA inspectors during a thorough inspection of my '85 XF. If you own an XF & the CM is cracked, drill out the end of the crack to stop it spreading then MIG weld the crack & weld another plate across the crack to bridge it. Either that or you're air chiseling the whole CM out to fit another. Clutch cable fitting in the firewall also need strengthening if you're going manual. Same with the pedal box clutch mounting pin. The factory sheet metal is weak as piss. "The joys of owning an XF for 10 years, I got to repair & replace most of it !!!"
Adding some lubeto the poly bushings especially the male/female castor bushing . The attachment of the caster bar to the lower wishbone is a concern 1x bolt instead of 2x bolt . Camber bolt upgrade was late XE and all XF
Option B on the wheels. And if you dont run them i'd be keen to buy them for my XE. If you do go the 18 inch snowflakes then get them in 9.5s all around 👍

Definitely option C on the wheels. Not very many cars can pull off the snowflake wheels anyways so it will be unique and still retain OEM flavor.

Option C. I never liked the snowflakes growing up but they’ve grown on me and would look tough as f^^k in a 19in option.
Option C for sure
Yep, option c.
Option C.

The Simmons are Ok. Much better than the second option. I think the larger snowflake wheels would be great. But its your car, do what makes you happy.

Option C with 18s all round with the tallest walled tyre to fit.
Are you able to get the vehicle engineered with an un-captive spring? Or do you use a keeper spring?
Option C on the wheels is my vote.
Option c mate 100 percent
