Uttari Betta Trek
Bangalore is fortunate in terms of geography. After about an hour's drive, you'll be in the lap of our pristine nature. The Uttaridurga / Hutridurga trek is one of the most beautiful treks near Bangalore.
The trek begins in a small village called Uttarahalli, enters the fort wall, and passes through seven stone doors to reach the halfway point of the hike, which has a Shankareswara temple at the top. This section of the trail is now carved with steps to allow villagers to easily reach the temple even in bad weather. The view from the top of the temple is stunning enough to take your breath away for a moment.
After passing through the temple, the trek continues ahead, passing through a small boulder cave and ending at the grassland top of the hill, surrounded by massive boulders.
As the distance of the trek is 5 km (to & fro), it is one of the easiest treks around Bangalore and an ideal location for a family picnic, family outing or small get-togethers outdoors.
