Does anyone know how to open it manually? Need to remove the lifters from one at the junkyard and those don't have power, has to be a way to manually open it

Does the latch make any noise when the switch is pressed?

Or buy a cadillac escalade key fob and it has that button on it

he has it on his key fob. This fix if you want to open the hatch without using the key fob. It comes handy sometimes for example if the car is running I think you won't be able to use the keyfob so you can use the new button he installed.
