Great detailed look at NedFoss, TBH I wasn't gonna approach this review highlighting the company and its inaccurate descriptions, I only wanted to focus on the knife at hand, and if I was to receive more than I can start talking of their brand as a whole...in terms of finishing the review, I disagree with you....I wanted to show if the knife has a fail can you still use it as a knife and do knife tasks if you that's all you have...and it did, other than some micro chips, My recommendations were a bit generous but for those in that budget range, it performed ok...but you noticed my warning and expectations that came with my recommendations, in the end if we recommend it or not it's the viewers and users that decide so that doesn't mean much, as far as the big picture...well done on the follow up, multi opinions is how youtube works best.
I actually hadn't planned to either Joe but, after looking at the knife's listing on Amazon I thought it'd be a good point to bring up. Concerning the testing portion of the review those downward throws really shouldn't have caused the tip to bend like that. Which in my opinion brings the heat treat into question. Granted your testing showed that even after the tip failure it could still cut. Your recommendations were definitely a bit too generous but, you did rightly set expectations and give a good warning in regards to this knife.
Also I can't test hunting or animal processing or self defense, I can test the ability, build quality, endurance, and performance through Bushcraft stuff that the knife is also highlighted to perform, just because you think it's more a hunting knife doesn't mean the above tests don't matter, to get a feel of what the knife offers.
I wouldn't expect you to test self defense or animal processing Joe and despite my opinions you did well in your testing. However I don't think this is a hunting knife, tactical knife or, survival knife. Those descriptors all come from the Amazon listing for it. In my honest opinion to borrow a term from the sword community it is a wall hanger. Sure it can cut but, it has more style than substance. There are points I 100% agree with in your review as well for example on the finger choil, ricasso and, upper guard wasting a fair bit of real estate on this design. Hopefully I wasn't too hard on you or your review because I was just speaking my mind in regards to this blade.
