This bike sounds better at lower revs tbh, bit like a Harley Davidson. Sounds good opening throttle but not holding it there indefinitely in my opinion.

@@setha65 The MT09 is fabulous but I guess we have different opinions about the look of the bike.
As I said it’s not about the money it’s about approval the approval of my parents and the approval of my country, in my country the license doesn’t allow me to buy more than 700 cc for one year. After one year you can get more than 700 like the MT09 or Ducati monster etc

You're living my dream bro, MT07 is actually my dream bike and hopefully one day I'll have the money to buy it or someone will bless me with one. Motorbike are such a stress relief faster way to travel.
After watching countless videos of the MT07 with an Akrapovic exhaust, I decided to get one with the db killer removed earlier this year. Let me tell you, its even more obnoxious than you can imagine, no videos justify the sound. Don't get this setup if you're shy, it will turn lots of heads! I love it more and more, even though I can't hit the highway without foam inserts :)
Is it bearable for your ears to ride without db killer on your MT07 ? I want to buy one but and I wonder if it is possible to ride it everyday without db kiler
@@cedricrm1194 I always ride with foam insert earplugs so its fine, but I would not ride it without. I took it on a few long trips (5+ hours), and remember wishing that I had put the db-killer back in for the rides 😂 Sold the bike now to get the Tenere 700 and ride offroad, but some days I miss it very much..
@@cedricrm1194 Yes. I run mine without. If it's too loud, you can just put the killer back in.
@@cedricrm1194 to me it’s just too brutal. It’s uncomfortable for you and very annoying for neighbours and the public in general, since I don’t like being a c*nt I put the db killer back in and it sounds nice, still pretty loud but civilised.

I agree. If you dont like mirrors then put a small one under the bar. But make sure it doesn't hit your tank when turning.
But mirrors are a must. They don't look good, there i agree, but they are safe. Much safer than looking back. You basically don't even look where you are going when turning your head.
Never let your f*ing mirrors lull you into a false sense of security. Turning your head is the only way to really know. If those f*ing antlers were the only option I would not ride.

It's too cold to ride and seeing others ride is so tempting. Great video.
Here in Kansas, lots of riders are still out even in the 40s lol. I've done a few nights low 50s, and upper 40s but, definitely don't fully enjoy it. Worst I've done a few years ago was riding in 20°. Even started snowing on me. Possibly the worst decision I've ever made on a bike 😂. But I'm trading my current bike for an R7 in a couple months so I'm done riding now just for the sake of keeping it scratch free till then. Added benefit is keeping me from riding in freezing weather lol.

dear, with all this cuteness in presenting your MT07, I want to give my testimony, I bought an MT07 in October 2021, and I just exchanged it for a Suzuki GSX S750, I can assure you that Suzuki is by far much more motorcycle in every way

I just got new headphones and i was like i am gonna test them this video popup on my screen and oh god its so good the headphones even got some vibrations and it felt so nice

The only explanation for really nice audio quality - it doesnt come from gopro.

Do you drive with kat? When I drive my mt 07 without kat and db killer its waaay to loud.
Did you get it tuned? I have the akra exhaust on my mt 07, no DB killer and it pops and bangs like crazy on the deceleration (a little too much)
You can get this fixed by taking it to a yamaha dealer who can adjust the o2 settings on the ydt tool.

I bought a new house 70 miles away from work. Would you recommend this bike going 70-80 mph on a freeway? And is it reliable? Love the raw sound and footage!
if i was in the same situation, i'll choose a tracer 700 or 900. The Mt-07 is a very good bike to begin, but not comfortable enough ;)
