I have a question, at the end of the day, in regards to combat, is your art all about pushing? Do you train on striking with fists etc. or kicking? Thank you for your time, I appreciate it.
@@aS-ce4jd I really appreciate your time. The way I see it, this is art passes down intricate knowledge but it has nothing to do with self defense at least not before 15 years of training and I doubt even after that. Why go through all that, when other fighting systems with their mechanics are easier, faster, more functional? I see it almost as deception or vanity if one's aim is self defense. In the first video you provided, it is very easy to push a guy back, and he even trips him actually... Yes he does. I can teach a 13 year old to have that effect on someone, the key being balance, and maybe some powerful theatrics. Mechanically, from my experience, what the master does, is nothing amazing to do, mostly to perform and watch. Seeing from your answer, at the end of the day, punching and kicking are not taught, so you will get beat up every time. Unless a guy is standing there and you simply punch him. Again, thanks for you time and knowledge shared.
@@aS-ce4jd Even if if he has 25 Dan in any system it doesn't mean he understands mechanics. Dan is just things you get in karate, means nothing in terms of understanding and fighting. Don't be gullible. That man obviously doesn't even know fighting. There is no mistake in modern thinking. People want to learn to protect themselves as fast as possible, this talented man is just taking advantage of that, he's not teaching them self defense. Judo, jujutsu and wrestling mechanics are way better because they can get the job done for everybody. How many students of his will learn anything for self defense none, so who cares about his skill, really. The guy in the last link you gave me with the music knows nothing about fighting, are you kidding? Have you no experience in martial arts? He's just pushing the guys back and with them not resisting at all. He'd be slapped, punched and mugged easy anywhere, but he made you think that he has mastered fighting and HE DOESN'T HAVE A CLUE, HIS SYSTEM WON'T LET HIM. But ok, if you want to be set up, it's your waste of time not mine. Have a good life and find out who Jesus Christ is before you die.
