How convenient. 😌 He himself wanted to believe Mahi’s pleasantries as love. He exaggerates his conversations with her , in front of his friends. He is no ‘bhola’. In Lahore, Mahi tells him not to come in her way ever again. In Bahawalpur, Mahi tells him that she is not interested in him. Now he again wants meet her to see the face of a ‘Katil’ of love. 😊 HOW MANY TIMES DOES A GIRL NEED TO TELL THAT SHE IS NOT INTERESTED. Emotional manoeuvring, manipulation, guilt and confusion is being used to force Mahi to reciprocate his love.

I have personally suffered at the hands of one such 'ashiq' , being stalked for years, been made to feel bad for not loving him in return. Even other people make you feel guilty and assume a woman's job is to respond to a man's love. So i hate this portrayal of love with passion and can't believe we are promoting it as something good.

I think either Amna and Hassan don’t know what it means to lead someone on or the writer and director didn’t do a good job at depicting Mahi leading Feedi on. Because I don’t think I knew that Talking to someone nicely and being friends is leading someone on.
Absolutely loving shehnai. Agree with amna on Ramsha and Affans chemistry. Also loved the scene Hassan talks about (cousins supporting and fighting scene). Ek khushkhabri - it's gonna be shown twice a week during ramazan. I just hope 40 minutes ka hi rehne dein episode

Just wanted to put this out that I love the effort and hard work Hassan and Amna put in for these videos. As a stay at home mom in a nuclear family and that too overseas your videos are my companion during the drudgery of everyday routine. I just listen to them like a podcast and feel just a bit less lonely while laughing along and enjoying your reviews. Lots of love for both of you.
Just saw this, and couldnt agree more! I was in Dubai earlier and always surrounded by family.My sister who was in Canada would say the same thing as you and I would laugh at her. Now that I am also here and so lonely, listening to these two brings me a sense of familiarity and homelines.
In pehli se muhabbat, when aslam’s brother talked about rakshi’s character in front of her dad, Aslam as someone who’s truly in love with her, should have defended her honour. Could have at least said that he pursued her first, because that’s what actually happened as well. He SHOULD have said something like that, also knowing how difficult it had been for his sister under similar circumstances. Utterly DISAPPOINTED in Aslam’s character, so weak.

Yes, he should have, at least in the drama. In reality in a sudden emergency situation, a person doesn’t know how to react. Hope in the drama he goes to Faiz chacha to clear things up. Also, Rakhshi should not have given up so easily having such a supportive ex mom. She would have shown her husband the mirror that if he could marry his love why couldn’t his daughter. But phir drama khatam ho jata.😂
Mahi isn't confused about Farhad..She is clear as far as them getting together is concerned. Guess she just feels slightly guilty that she might have led him on and have him suffer. Farhad isn't letting her enjoy her engagement. Poor girl! Can't even relish her handsome fiancé's photo. In the promo they show how farhad comes around with his red crying eyes when she is standing on the rooftop watching her fiancé.

KAM's direction is not upto mark. It may have a high budget but the main problem here is direction. Sunita's character mentioned that she 'warned' Mahi in Lahore but we didn't see any such scene. The actress who plays Sajal revealed that the whole shouting ''Pardah' wasn't in the script and she was told by director to do it on spot. And despite unnecessarily adding it to the plot, the director failed to take it into consideration in future scenes bcz Sunita was standing even without a dupatta on the door of the house. The whole 'goli lag gai' was so dramatic yet Farhad didn't look like someone who has ben recently shot in the hospital. Also the director had a huge budget and had the opportunity to shoot a proper action shooting sequence to tell us that how Farhad saved Nazim Shah as he is going to get a more prominent place in the house now bcz of it. Mahi and her bhabhi's charcacter are both very confusing! Yes the script might have some drawbacks but weak direction is the MAIN problem here.
You are right but I just wanted to say this , that the bhabhi did warned mahi few times in Lahore. I don’t remember the exact episode but she did warned mahi that it’s a dangerous game and she should not play play it ( I think she said it when rida and mahi went rida’s finance’s birthday secretly)

Shehnai: I'm in love with shehnai after the last episode...what an amazing episode thoroughly enjoyable. Ramsha khan was superb and her monologue was so funny😂 and then Affan's expressions were so cute...also love that scene where all the cousins had a cute fight at the terrace. Shehnai is a breath of fresh air indeed. Loving it.

A great light watch show after a very long time. Though Bakht's reaction at her bf's wedding was very similar to Geet from jab we met and reminded me of the scene where she screams at Anshuman on call. Even Meerab's character seems inspired from Aditya Kashap. Have seen jwm so many times, that just can't ignore the similarities. 🤭
Mahi's bhai is the same guy who dies in the dungeon in Mushk after having stayed there for so many years - Sohail Sameer. We have such brilliant actors. 👏
The script is forcing Farhad on Mahi.Farhad is stalking Mahi for sure.Script is quite bad even Bhabi’s role.Making friends with a boy is not leading him on.
The question is why couldn't she get the things that she needed done from Farhad without the extra sprinkling of flattering compliments? She is Mahi Rani as her mother addresses her, and she has been raised in a very conservative household where interacting with working class men is a total no no, whereas showing her hyper active personality to Taimoor, a landlord only rewarded her with a proposal her family supported. What was she doing shaking hands with Farhad who was hired to help with the preparations anyway? Was she having the fun she wouldn't have under the gaze of the Shahs?

I was so disappointed with raqs e bismil this week. I was expecting their reunion scene to be much more dramatic but it looked like the scene was shot separately and the actors weren’t even there at the same time. And agree with you guys, the only thing holding it all together is Musa.

If a drama whose premise lies on a love so strong (that it makes you lose yourself and enter a state of madness) fails to show the basis for such a love, then that drama is considered a failed project. And KAM is exactly that. The only credit I’ll give to its creators is of presenting larger than life visuals to the masses of this country who would otherwise never see them. Other than that, it’s an illogical story, one that has successfully shown us how stupid a guy can look falling for someone who he hardly spent few weeks with and that too in the capacity of a friend. If infatuation is called “ishq”, then Lord help!
Agreed100%. It does not have the intense love of Paro and Devdas( which the writer wanted to recreate), nor is it spiritual like the previous seasons of KAM. Very illogical story.
Farhad is living in an illusory world of afsaanas where a mehlon ki shahzadi falls in love with a faqir like him. He wants to live the fairytale, like many of us but ab kuch zyaada ho raha hai. ;) He's making Mahi feel guilty for no substantial fault of her, will spoil both of their lives. I hope people are only watching it for entertainment and aashiqs don't get inspired by Farhad's character. You might end up with worse repercussions than he will eventually.
Can't believe how much I look forward to the reviews. I think I watch more for the nokh jokh that they have 🤣 then the review. They make me chuckle! I'm glad they've calmed down on the personal side of things which i felt uncomfortable with before as it was very consistent.

Exactly hammad was 100× better than this farhad...he wasn't a stalker, he was a gentleman who left his family because it wronged maulvi sahab and emaan...his love was actually really pure...he never put emaan in uncomfortable position...MOST IMPORTANTLY he did not become a rogi/jogi but actually discovered himself and in the process, Allah...seasons 1 and 2 were actually based on 'Khuda aur mohabbat' in which the relationship between Islam and love is explored...hamad's family rejected emaan because of low social status and later maulvi sahab rejected hamad as he wasn't religious enough...here's when hamad points out maulvi sahab's hypocrisy (maulvi sahab was actually a grey character who, despite seeing hamad work hard and become more religious, rejects him again and again kyunke log kya kahen ge) and his quest to find the staus of love in Islam begins... Even emaan was a beautifully etched out character that had substance and her falling in love with hamad was so beautiful
Please do a haute gold of Waris or Samandar by Amjad Islam Amjad because Waris is one of the classics and probably the biggest PTV drama. I think this younger generation should be aware of the classics
[KAM] Honestly I don't know why Farhaad is blackmailing her Loving him. like it's not romantic at all .if Feroze wasn't Handsome nobody would say it's a love story. It's so damn creepy . Imagine you are watched day and Night by Someone who you just wanted to be friends with.violation of privacy isn't Romance .as viewers how easily we forgive the protagonist's creepy actions if he is Good Looking and saying "He loves her". And "I am feeling bad for him " like why should we sympathise with him and for what? Not accepting the rejection or openly stalking her. People who say"How can Maahi be happy "? My question is why she shouldn't be happy. Girls like her dream of wedding their entire life, if she is feeling happy and has No objection with the Rishta.if she likes then why do people have object it. Something Haute, please condemn the misleading, glamourized, and romanticized depiction of brothels in dramas such as Raqs e bismil. I am saying that in light of Amna mufti’s interview published in a daily paper recently. The gruesome realities depicted in DNTN are actual, and society needs to understand that. There is no Knight in shining armor for them in real life.
I don't know if many of you will agree on this or not but why is this, we always tease a man talking about some beautiful girl doesn't matter even the man is married. And it is considered very normal overall in our society . On the other hand no one does this to a married woman and tease her, like see Hassan never done this with amna whereas amna always teases him with some new beautiful, young girl ... dure fishan , minal now Momina. I just don't understand with Farhaad's "bas ek Baar Woh mujhse aake kehde". Wth? Mahi herself already told him. And not only Farhaad, even Moosa was obsessed with the "khud mujhse keh de". Hashim Nadeem is trying to justify what these characters did with those lines, but he has failed to do so. And about Farhaad, he is working as a servant there. Sorry to say but will a woman like in the household shown in the drama, will go to talk to a "male" servant ?! P.s I am not talking in general, I am only talking about the show.

If they had shown other boys and then Mahi, leaving all other boys had gone to Farhad and showered attention on him, then it would have made sense. With Farhad shown as the only boy available, she had to go to him to help take her cousin meet her fiancé. Looked unrealistic.

I really like the way social issues, and patriarchy, is shown in PSM, through a family drama. This is a very effective way of making viewers think about the double standards in society , and how women have to pay the price for men's egos.
Shahnaye is so beautiful 😍, Bakht and Meraab looking adorable. brilliant performances, waiting to watch more often in a week. Yes true, all characters are interesting 👍 and their performances are too 👍 good. specially all females in bakht house are very different from their routine characters in different dramas. they all are looking great. like ZQ 👍, phupiii, and phoopa and cousins.
There is a false equivalence going on here, If she led him on as a friend and then neglects his friendship then she is wrong but she is neglecting his love. Friendship and love are different, also Farhads character is the epitome of hypocrisy, he is now in Naheeds shoes he expects his love to be reciprocated when he had no interest in reciprocating Naheeds love. I feel this show focuses too much on the spectacle of a grand love story. Falsely believing the story is grand before it is even written so as a viewer I see a spectacle and not a nuanced story with subtle human emotions
She is neglecting his friendship too. She started ignoring him on purpose when the wedding started to wrap up. She knew she couldn't sustain what she started despite her promise. In Lahore it was possible to fake being friends, in Bahawalpur it is not. A word or two about her family would have helped in Farhad calculating his chances, but I guess he would have thought she must be really into him to confide in him.
Shehnai: At first I thought Wahaj Ali should have been cast opposite Ramsha in Shehnai as their chemistry is the best but I take my words back. I think Affan is the MOST suited for this role because Wahaj and Ramsha look like absolute contemporaries....but the character of Meerab required a bit more mature portrayal and Affan definitely pulls it off.....Meerab has a more sombre, a more level-headed demeanor as compared to Bakht and Affan is depicting this 'edge' so convincingly.....when Wahaj is with Ramsha (be that Mah e Tamaam or Ghisi Piti Mohabbat), they are equals every step of the way....the bickering, the romance or the serious scenes.....they match each other's personalities and energy quite compatibly but in the case of Ramsha and Affan, it is a classic case of 'opposites attract'.....and I am SO in love with their chemistry....can't wait for the romantic fireworks! Fitoor: Wow I am SO SO SOOOO happy that Aamna pointed that 'Talaq yafta, aik bachchay ki maa' comment made by Haider's mommy dearest....it left such a bad taste in my mouth...I would have understood if she would have just listed Mehmil's selfishness and opportunistic nature as her bad traits but this was such a cheap shot....thanks for bringing that up, Aamna! p.s. Thanks Aamna and Hassan for pointing out tai ammi’s regressive dialogues. They were uncomfortable to watch. Kissi ki chori hui aurat, talaq yafta aurat, aik bachay ki maa... all these words were used in a derogatory manner which is disappointing knowing Zanjabeel is the writer. That’s why I enjoy your reviews , you guys say what the audience feel.
But obviously dilnasheen said in reply ki main bhi toh chodi hui hoon Hamza ki if Haider and dilnasheen respectfully accept each other's past obviously beech mein bahuttttttt drama hoga but atlast if she give a mature message of accepting each other past happily which zanjbeel will give I hope
Dilnasheen making an honest effort to make her marriage work. 2 reasons. She likes Haider, and any girl would. Secondly, she is accepting the reality . Practically humza was given the first chance but he lost it due to his family. Now when she and her family was so humiliated by humzas family, why would she still be obsessed with humza ? She made a decision and she is living by it. That's the best thing about her character. Haider is Improving. Still trying to read him..he is caring by nature n hence he can't shun mehmal straightaway..he genuinely loves her daughter too , she should not suffer due to mehmal. So mehmal is his litmus test. He needs to get over her and only when somebody's love will replace it , it's gonna happen.
Obviously it's a drama rather over dramatized drama so before end there will be lots of chaos but if at end Haider and dilnasheen both accept each other past happily then zanjbeel asim would be giving a perfect mature message at end which would be perfect but obviously if they don't show character's mistakes and flaws Be it Haider /dilnasheen then how would they give lesson on their mistakes

I don't really understand why few people are always after feroze khan, I think they are jealous of his success, because on acting ground no one can deny his stealer performance, whether its Khaani, Ishqiya or KAM3 he brings life to whatever he do, he makes the audience feel for him & this is very rare...akhir kuch to baat hogi us main, kuch bhi krey cha jata hai and as far as KAM3 concerns its phenomenal, either its cinematography, direction, looks, story, dialogues, performances everything is so engaging, find me one other show with all of these characteristics,....so stop being hateful if they are trying bring something good to your screen, we as audience must appreciate that rather than putting illogical statements, that he is stalking or whatever....its a drama which is not based on some social issue so stop making it one!

I agree with amna about dragging the last scene of raqse bismil. Also I feel that it’s human nature not to talk about substandard performance when actor is beautiful.eg Sara khan on raqse bismil is not acting well partially because of poorly written script but she is also just doing bare minimal.

I agree with you both Phaans is tremendous! I also agree with Hassan Ji that it is so brave of the writers not to take the story down the usual pathway. I love that writers are taking their time in developing the story and not rushing it, that would be so easy. They are making us wait and the audience really doesn't know what is next. It's like a very slow exhale from the sharp intake of breath caused by the first episode. The ambiguity in all the male characters is stunning. Amina ji is right, you don't quite trust them but you don't hate them either. This is beautiful acting and direction. This is a thriller (no moohubut etc). The actor playing Zeba is phenomenal in the role, it is great to see that Pakistan has such amazing female talent. I really don't think that Samad is in love with Zeba at this point (this might come later?). I think he is traumatised by whatever he saw that night and he can't talk about it, all his behavior affected, it's as if he's trying to understand it as well as deal with the fact that he was accused so he's very invested in finding out the truth. Wouldn't we all be in his place?? Brilliant writing executed by a hugely talented actor. Sahil is played really well and the lapses in his 'character' are really interesting because we believe Zeba so we are tuning into these lapses that are REALLY subtle. I will say this though, I was surprised to find that the character is supposed to be Autistic, the way it is being performed makes him look as though he has global developmental delay and not Autism. Other than that, Phaans is brilliant!
Masha'Allah the explanation of the Azan at birth and namaz at janazah was explained so well. Thanks Hassan for elucidating it. I hadn't listened to that dialogue closely in the drama. But when you explained it, it was just "bee-uuuu-tifulll".

First time today aaj dil chah raha tha k Hassan ko kahon k please stop defending that Zohra scene in the last minutes of Raqbsml... The scene was really badly, poorly executed ufff.... Totally agree with Amna's views on that. Too many dialogues and when you see different camera angles of that scene. One frame shows that saree pallu on the shoulder from the back on Zohra and at the same time one frame shows that pallu is not there. Too irritating for eyes and then sone pe sohaga last mein window se show hua totally different room . Very 👎

Shehnai and Ab we met have only one similarity, Bakht running away from her marriage. Other than that there is no similarity. Ramsha's acting is similar to Samiya from ghisi pitti muhabbat not kareena kapoor. Our viewers need to come out of Indian movies fantasy.
In KAM they should have shown that farhad fall in love with mahi at first sight.when farhad n mahi met 1st time.farhad attitude was very casual.they should show his feelings from the very beggening instead of including the point of mahi leading him etc etc. In KAM season 1 n in case of MUSA.both heroes fell in luv at 1st sight without knowing herions intention.n that seems understandable.

But one thing to add into it is that i think you both must discuss the centeral point or idea or message of each character being portrayed or given to the society.. Todays and previous episodes as well, were all like recap of episodes but what is being conveyed to the society by each character or some specifice scenes in the episode. So this should also be discussed pls..
You forgot Mahi did not give consent in their last meeting before he left his parents house. Also you don't turn up at your new friends ( girl) house miles away without her formal invite, were numbers exchanged, did she say keep in contact , did she give address, did she say keep in touch , I don't. Know did I miss.something, one does.make temporary friends on holiday.
In my opinion a huge problem with KAM3 is also its name and that's because viewers like me who have watched KAM2 tuned into it with high expectations because of how amazing KAM2 was however KAM3 did not live up to them at all. KAM2 was a soulful, meaningful story with powerful performances and dialogues and above all intelligent direction, therefore also with brilliant story execution and production it creates a masterpiece which stays with people. On the other hand KAM3 is like some bollywood rip-off of a classic just to cash in money. Yes it does have a "huge" production and good performances but other than that the story is completely ordinary and above all of it, it fails to deliver the message it promises to just listen their respective OST's once they even speak for themselves. I think KAM3 is fine especially when you look at what garbage is being made nowadays but just because they carried the same name I can't help but compare it with the last one which automatically makes it way more disappointing despite its flaws. Maybe if they hadn't named it KAM I could have watched it like any other drama but now I can't. PS: GUYS LEGIT JUST WATCH KAM2, IT IS A COMPLETE TREAT, may I also suggest a haute gold of it ;)

Even other people make you feel guilty and assume a woman's job is to respond to a man's love. So i hate this portrayal of love with passion and can't believe we are promoting it as something good.

KAM: Well I think many people are thinking that mahi led Farhad and makers also wanted to show that.. so I believe they literally failed at portraying it coz just shaking hands and offering pan can not be considered as leading someone! come on!! it's 2021 kuch aur dikha dete!! kuch dialogues dikha dete! something better! Honestly there are a lot of flaws in writing.

Just wanted to put this out that I love the effort and hard work Hassan and Amna put in for these videos. As a stay at home mom in a nuclear family and that too overseas your videos are my companion during the drudgery of everyday routine. I just listen to them like a podcast and feel just a bit less lonely while laughing along and enjoying your reviews. Lots of love for both of you.

In pehli se muhabbat, when aslam’s brother talked about rakshi’s character in front of her dad, Aslam as someone who’s truly in love with her, should have defended her honour. Could have at least said that he pursued her first, because that’s what actually happened as well. He SHOULD have said something like that, also knowing how difficult it had been for his sister under similar circumstances. Utterly DISAPPOINTED in Aslam’s character, so weak.
I feel that is the point in PSM. No character is black or white. They have their grey sides which makes the drama realistic, doesn't it?

Mahi isn't confused about Farhad..She is clear as far as them getting together is concerned. Guess she just feels slightly guilty that she might have led him on and have him suffer. Farhad isn't letting her enjoy her engagement. Poor girl! Can't even relish her handsome fiancé's photo. In the promo they show how farhad comes around with his red crying eyes when she is standing on the rooftop watching her fiancé.

KAM's direction is not upto mark. It may have a high budget but the main problem here is direction. Sunita's character mentioned that she 'warned' Mahi in Lahore but we didn't see any such scene. The actress who plays Sajal revealed that the whole shouting ''Pardah' wasn't in the script and she was told by director to do it on spot. And despite unnecessarily adding it to the plot, the director failed to take it into consideration in future scenes bcz Sunita was standing even without a dupatta on the door of the house.
The whole 'goli lag gai' was so dramatic yet Farhad didn't look like someone who has ben recently shot in the hospital. Also the director had a huge budget and had the opportunity to shoot a proper action shooting sequence to tell us that how Farhad saved Nazim Shah as he is going to get a more prominent place in the house now bcz of it. Mahi and her bhabhi's charcacter are both very confusing!
Yes the script might have some drawbacks but weak direction is the MAIN problem here.

Shehnai: I'm in love with shehnai after the last episode...what an amazing episode thoroughly enjoyable. Ramsha khan was superb and her monologue was so funny😂 and then Affan's expressions were so cute...also love that scene where all the cousins had a cute fight at the terrace.

I recently started shehnai after hearing your reviews and thoroughly enjoying it. The main leads have an excellent chemistry. A great light watch show after a very long time. Though Bakht's reaction at her bf's wedding was very similar to Geet from jab we met and reminded me of the scene where she screams at Anshuman on call. Even Meerab's character seems inspired from Aditya Kashap.

The script is forcing Farhad on Mahi.Farhad is stalking Mahi for sure.Script is quite bad even Bhabi’s role.Making friends with a boy is not leading him on.
The question is why couldn't she get the things that she needed done from Farhad without the extra sprinkling of flattering compliments? She is Mahi Rani as her mother addresses her, and she has been raised in a very conservative household where interacting with working class men is a total no no, whereas showing her hyper active personality to Taimoor, a landlord only rewarded her with a proposal her family supported. What was she doing shaking hands with Farhad who was hired to help with the preparations anyway? Was she having the fun she wouldn't have under the gaze of the Shahs?

If a drama whose premise lies on a love so strong (that it makes you lose yourself and enter a state of madness) fails to show the basis for such a love, then that drama is considered a failed project. And KAM is exactly that. The only credit I’ll give to its creators is of presenting larger than life visuals to the masses of this country who would otherwise never see them. Other than that, it’s an illogical story, one that has successfully shown us how stupid a guy can look falling for someone who he hardly spent few weeks with and that too in the capacity of a friend. If infatuation is called “ishq”, then Lord help!

Farhad is living in an illusory world of afsaanas where a mehlon ki shahzadi falls in love with a faqir like him. He wants to live the fairytale, like many of us but ab kuch zyaada ho raha hai. ;)
He's making Mahi feel guilty for no substantial fault of her, will spoil both of their lives. I hope people are only watching it for entertainment and aashiqs don't get inspired by Farhad's character. You might end up with worse repercussions than he will eventually.

Exactly hammad was 100× better than this farhad...he wasn't a stalker, he was a gentleman who left his family because it wronged maulvi sahab and emaan...his love was actually really pure...he never put emaan in uncomfortable position...MOST IMPORTANTLY he did not become a rogi/jogi but actually discovered himself and in the process, Allah...seasons 1 and 2 were actually based on 'Khuda aur mohabbat' in which the relationship between Islam and love is explored...hamad's family rejected emaan because of low social status and later maulvi sahab rejected hamad as he wasn't religious enough...here's when hamad points out maulvi sahab's hypocrisy (maulvi sahab was actually a grey character who, despite seeing hamad work hard and become more religious, rejects him again and again kyunke log kya kahen ge) and his quest to find the staus of love in Islam begins...
Even emaan was a beautifully etched out character that had substance and her falling in love with hamad was so beautiful

[KAM] Honestly I don't know why Farhaad is blackmailing her Loving him. like it's not romantic at all .if Feroze wasn't Handsome nobody would say it's a love story. It's so damn creepy . RAKHSHI's crying when her dad confronted her, OUFFFFF it was the realest thing I've ever seen. All actors can cry and sob but her HYPERVENTILATING UFFF IT WAS SO REAL I FELT IT in my soullll. After this no one can say Maya can't act. I was BLOWN away. And I am no Maya fangirl, I generally was so impressed by her acting in that scene. Hats off to her

I just don't understand with Farhaad's "bas ek Baar Woh mujhse aake kehde". Wth? Mahi herself already told him. And not only Farhaad, even Moosa was obsessed with the "khud mujhse keh de". Hashim Nadeem is trying to justify what these characters did with those lines, but he has failed to do so.
And about Farhaad, he is working as a servant there. Sorry to say but will a woman like in the household shown in the drama, will go to talk to a "male" servant ?! P.s I am not talking in general, I am only talking about the show.

If they had shown other boys and then Mahi, leaving all other boys had gone to Farhad and showered attention on him, then it would have made sense. With Farhad shown as the only boy available, she had to go to him to help take her cousin meet her fiancé. Looked unrealistic.

There is a false equivalence going on here, If she led him on as a friend and then neglects his friendship then she is wrong but she is neglecting his love. Friendship and love are different, also Farhads character is the epitome of hypocrisy, he is now in Naheeds shoes he expects his love to be reciprocated when he had no interest in reciprocating Naheeds love. I feel this show focuses too much on the spectacle of a grand love story. Falsely believing the story is grand before it is even written so as a viewer I see a spectacle and not a nuanced story with subtle human emotions
Also no shade to those who like this story I just feel this story is too much dialog and too little raw story

She is neglecting his friendship too. She started ignoring him on purpose when the wedding started to wrap up. She knew she couldn't sustain what she started despite her promise. In Lahore it was possible to fake being friends, in Bahawalpur it is not. A word or two about her family would have helped in Farhad calculating his chances, but I guess he would have thought she must be really into him to confide in him.

Shehnai: At first I thought Wahaj Ali should have been cast opposite Ramsha in Shehnai as their chemistry is the best but I take my words back. I think Affan is the MOST suited for this role because Wahaj and Ramsha look like absolute contemporaries....but the character of Meerab required a bit more mature portrayal and Affan definitely pulls it off.....Meerab has a more sombre, a more level-headed demeanor as compared to Bakht and Affan is depicting this 'edge' so convincingly.....when Wahaj is with Ramsha (be that Mah e Tamaam or Ghisi Piti Mohabbat), they are equals every step of the way....the bickering, the romance or the serious scenes.....they match each other's personalities and energy quite compatibly but in the case of Ramsha and Affan, it is a classic case of 'opposites attract'.....and I am SO in love with their chemistry....can't wait for the romantic fireworks!

Thanks Aamna and Hassan for pointing out tai ammi’s regressive dialogues. They were uncomfortable to watch. Kissi ki chori hui aurat, talaq yafta aurat, aik bachay ki maa... all these words were used in a derogatory manner which is disappointing knowing Zanjabeel is the writer. Dilnasheen making an honest effort to make her marriage work. 2 reasons. She likes Haider, and any girl would. Secondly, she is accepting the reality . Practically humza was given the first chance but he lost it due to his family. Now when she and her family was so humiliated by humzas family, why would she still be obsessed with humza ? She made a decision and she is living by it. That's the best thing about her character.
Haider is Improving. Still trying to read him..he is caring by nature n hence he can't shun mehmal straightaway..he genuinely loves her daughter too , she should not suffer due to mehmal. So mehmal is his litmus test. He needs to get over her and only when somebody's love will replace it , it's gonna happen.
Obviously it's a drama rather over dramatized drama so before end there will be lots of chaos but if at end Haider and dilnasheen both accept each other past happily then zanjbeel asim would be giving a perfect mature message at end which would be perfect but obviously if they don't show character's mistakes and flaws Be it Haider /dilnasheen then how would they give lesson on their mistakes

I don't really understand why few people are always after feroze khan, I think they are jealous of his success, because on acting ground no one can deny his stealer performance, whether its Khaani, Ishqiya or KAM3 he brings life to whatever he do, he makes the audience feel for him & this is very rare...akhir kuch to baat hogi us main, kuch bhi krey cha jata hai and as far as KAM3 concerns its phenomenal, either its cinematography, direction, looks, story, dialogues, performances everything is so engaging, find me one other show with all of these characteristics,....so stop being hateful if they are trying bring something good to your screen, we as audience must appreciate that rather than putting illogical statements, that he is stalking or whatever....its a drama which is not based on some social issue so stop making it one!

I agree with you both Phaans is tremendous! I also agree with Hassan Ji that it is so brave of the writers not to take the story down the usual pathway. I love that writers are taking their time in developing the story and not rushing it, that would be so easy. They are making us wait and the audience really doesn't know what is next. It's like a very slow exhale from the sharp intake of breath caused by the first episode. The ambiguity in all the male characters is stunning. Amina ji is right, you don't quite trust them but you don't hate them either. This is beautiful acting and direction. This is a thriller (no moohubut etc). The actor playing Zeba is phenomenal in the role, it is great to see that Pakistan has such amazing female talent. I really don't think that Samad is in love with Zeba at this point (this might come later?). I think he is traumatised by whatever he saw that night and he can't talk about it, all his behavior affected, it's as if he's trying to understand it as well as deal with the fact that he was accused so he's very invested in finding out the truth. Wouldn't we all be in his place?? Brilliant writing executed by a hugely talented actor. Sahil is played really well and the lapses in his 'character' are really interesting because we believe Zeba so we are tuning into these lapses that are REALLY subtle. I will say this though, I was surprised to find that the character is supposed to be Autistic, the way it is being performed makes him look as though he has global developmental delay and not Autism. Other than that, Phaans is brilliant!
Masha'Allah the explanation of the Azan at birth and namaz at janazah was explained so well. Thanks Hassan for elucidating it. I hadn't listened to that dialogue closely in the drama. But when you explained it, it was just "bee-uuuu-tifulll".

First time today aaj dil chah raha tha k Hassan ko kahon k please stop defending that Zohra scene in the last minutes of Raqbsml... The scene was really badly, poorly executed ufff.... Totally agree with Amna's views on that. Too many dialogues and when you see different camera angles of that scene. One frame shows that saree pallu on the shoulder from the back on Zohra and at the same time one frame shows that pallu is not there. Too irritating for eyes and then sone pe sohaga last mein window se show hua totally different room . Very 👎

In KAM they should have shown that farhad fall in love with mahi at first sight.when farhad n mahi met 1st time.farhad attitude was very casual.they should show his feelings from the very beggening instead of including the point of mahi leading him etc etc.

Hassan talking about 'Pehli si Muhabbat', it does has a time lapse in it, HSY told this in an interview on ARY morning show.
In my opinion a huge problem with KAM3 is also its name and that's because viewers like me who have watched KAM2 tuned into it with high expectations because of how amazing KAM2 was however KAM3 did not live up to them at all.
KAM2 was a soulful, meaningful story with powerful performances and dialogues and above all intelligent direction, therefore also with brilliant story execution and production it creates a masterpiece which stays with people.
On the other hand KAM3 is like some bollywood rip-off of a classic just to cash in money. Yes it does have a "huge" production and good performances but other than that the story is completely ordinary and above all of it, it fails to deliver the message it promises to just listen their respective OST's once they even speak for themselves.
I think KAM3 is fine especially when you look at what garbage is being made nowadays but just because they carried the same name I can't help but compare it with the last one which automatically makes it way more disappointing despite its flaws. Maybe if they hadn't named it KAM I could have watched it like any other drama but now I can't.
PS: GUYS LEGIT JUST WATCH KAM2, IT IS A COMPLETE TREAT, may I also suggest a haute gold of it ;)
