#darma #darmavalley Darma valley is a Himalayan valley situated in the Pithoragarh District of Uttarakhand state of India. This valley is located in the eastern part of Uttarakhand at Kumaon division.
The Darma valley is formed by the Darma River (also called Darma Yankti and Darma Ganga). It is situated between two other valleys-Kuthi Yankti valley to the east and Lassar Yankti valley in the west. The altitude of Darma Valley is around 3500 Meters and the peaks have altitudes ranging from 6,334 metres (20,781 ft) to 6,904 metres (22,651 ft).
From this place you can enjoy the beautiful views of Panchachuli peaks and glacier
The altitude of five peaks of Panchachuli is as follows.
Panchachuli 1: Altitude 6355 Meters.
Panchachuli 2: Altitude 6904 meters.
Panchachuli 3: Altitude 6312 Meters.
Panchachuli 4: Altitude 6334 Meters.
Panchachuli 5: Altitude 6437 meters.

Facilities:
There are about 15 Villages in Darma Valley. You will find many homestays in Darma Valley. If you are planning to go near Panchachuli peaks then Dantu village, Dugtu village and Panchachuli base camp will be your best options. You can enjoy the view of Panchachuli from the homestays of Dantu village. Dugtu & Dantu are two villages situated in Darma Valley and devided by Dharmganga River which later forms Dhauli Ganga. Darma is easily accessible by road.

Ideal Time to Visit - Summer is the best time to visit Darma Valley. Weather is very pleasant there in summer. Sometimes, the road gets blocked due to heavy rainfall and landslide. Make sure to ensure that the road is not completely damaged before planning a trip to Darma.
You will face road in poor conditions in some places but it's manageable if everything is normal there.

There are so many places in Darma valley like Shinla pass. If you just want to visit Panchachuli and Nagling glaciers then3-4 days are enough (excluding the days to reach Dharchula).

Trek isn’t that difficult. You get glacier view from the road also and the trek is around 5-6 kms and not that steep.

How much time does it take for trekking from Dugtu village to panchachuli zero point, at a relaxed / slow pace?

If you are beginner then avoid to carry heavy weight while Trekking.
In 3-4 hours you will be in Zero Point, Encounter the Mighty Panchachuli view and return to Dugtu Village.
Panchachuli Zero Point is very easy trek of approx 5 kilometers and not much steep.
Dear. Do we need Inner line permit from Dharchula ?. Whether April is ok for this visit ? Whether we can do it on a motorbike ?
No we don’t need inner line permit to visit Darma valley. April is okay to visit of weather is clear. You can visit there on a motorbike. Before you go there you can call on the phone number mentioned in the video.

Darma Valley ki road kuch khaas nahi hai, aajkal barf hone ki wajah se gaadi nahi jaati Dantu tk pr june mai road thoda theek dekhne ko milegi.
