Road connectivity has been reached upto DUGTU village that is 65 km from Dharchula(4 hours drive). One can stay in Dugtu which is only 3 km from basecamp or reach upto base camp and stay their with KMVNs providing accommodation for Rs 1300. Zero point is located further 3 km from Base camp which must be visited at early morning the next day to witness the sunrise ornamenting the majestic beauty of Panchachuli. I would suggest to hire a local vehicle/transport from Dharchula till Dugtu as the roads are not a cakewalk for the non experienced driver. One has to cross Balling and Nalling waterchannels whose water level exceeds noticeably from afternoon onwards. Ultimately You will be fascinated en-route the trek by the ancient Bhojpatra tree, Yarsagambu and Darma Valley of flower. August and September are the best months to visit this trek.
