    Thanks for this tutorial man! And for the others. I tend to have really specific process for each reverbs, and I tend to do like this:
    -> Short: little predelay, 100% width and bright to make things closer (details, almost like a slappy delay).
    -> Medium: longer predelay (tempo based), width reduced and a darker EQ curve, so that it pushes elements on the back of the mix.
    -> Long reverb: to avoid phase issues with such lonh decays, I tend to reduce the width to 15 / 20%, and this reverbs almost acts like a parallel textural process for mostly the pads and stuff like that.
    What do you think of it?

      I just show one way to do it, one technique 😉 But there are tons of different ways which work too, and you can find the one you prefer, that's the beauty of music production in 2023

      I feel the short reverb should have a longer pre-delay and not the medium reverb. A longer pre-delay allows the element using the short reverb to be more upfront.

    This is why i use MIDI almost always for my drums. It is easy to automate some reverb or whatever i want every 8th, 16th etc. When i create multiple copies of each like you do, i lose track of whats going on 😂 Of course you are more experienced.

    Nice for your processor and everything sounding like it’s the same space, I need to be more organised with this!
    Would you EQ your three reverb channels to remove lows and maybe harsh highs?

    • @DaFresh
      @DaFresh  10 місяців тому +1

      Yep, much better for your CPU ! I don't put an EQ but if you check my settings I already do it inside the Reverb : "input filter" where I use a low-cut and high-cut + in the "diffusion network" also a low-cut at 120Hz and high-cut that I adjust if I need more or less brightness in my Reverb
