This song was released in 1991 and you can tell here in this song that Akira is moving in a heavier direction. I think during this period that Akira was influenced by Pantera's 'Cowboys from Hell' album. The 1992 self titles Loudness album from 1992 with Masaki Yamada on vocals is still my favourite Loudness album and I own them all. It does sound like Pantera.
the first time i heard this song, some of the fans including myself were hanging out with Loudness after the show and Masayoshi let us hear this song... it's one of their heavier songs that just didn't get noticed... Vescera was great but he quit the band a few days after that show.. :(
@45641560456405640563 True, that compilation is amazing, to be honest I only know one fan of Loudness, who respect and consider a lot the Vescera period. I belive they'll be trully fans if at least listen to those albums.
Nice n heavy tone in the beginning and pre solo but got too glam. Vescera is a good singer but not for heavy stuff. Im a fan so i liked either. Now, sadly their new songs are just Minohru just screaming..
First heard this on the loudest Loudness double CD best of from... the early to mid 90's??? Bought it in Tokyo on my way through. I know a lot of their domestic fans didn't groove to the Vescera albums but they did kick a lot of butt.
On the prowl and soldier of fortune charted very high and unexpectedly. On the prowl going #18 & soldier of fortune going #7 on the Japanese charts with only thunder in the east charting higher at #4 i believe. Those albums were largely ignored by mostly western fans. As much as I like Michael vescera, it was a horrible idea to fire minoru.
@@toma.4808 Thanks for the info. Since writing that original comment I've had the good luck to see Loudness in the flesh when they visited Melbourne, Australia. Was a great gig.
Love this song...wish they would have made more music... CHRIS 😝😝😝

This song kicks major ass !!!!!
Metal box with a sharp vocal!

All you do is drive me insane
Viscera would have been better if he sang in Japanese, He would have been more fit for loudness... Still Minoru Niihara is better...

True. Last good album was spiritual canoe
LOUDNESS ROCKS ON ...when western band sucks at their heavymetal music!
