Thanks so much Dammie. You rock! This helps a whole lot.
Glad it does help😊
@@dammietees pls where can l get this packing nylon.thanks.
Hi Dammie, thank God you still had a lot left for you. Please did you pay for excess luggage? I also didn't know that they allow up to 5kg packs of food? I thought it's 2kg max?
Thank you Dammie. Informative as always
Good you have seen it, dropped you a DM
OMG 😲 you tried to bring in yam. Thanks for sharing so I know what I can bring in when next i travel
My pleasure 😊 oh yes i brought yam because my hubby loves yam and we were not sure if it was allowed or not but now i know 😁
You still got a good number of things in with you. That's nice
Yes i did!!! The hustle was real
Thanks for sharing dearie.... My question is: can I bring in red oil?
And how do I package it?
Yes you can, BUT i have not tried it before but few people have said they did bring it in successfully but wont advise you to because palm oil is at risk of spillage and not worth the risk. there are loads of good palm oil here.
@@dammietees Thanks for your response. 🥰
Thanks so much for sharing Sis your experience at least I have learnt a new thing today.
Please I have a question 🙋♀️
Did you bring in those our Nigerian spices?
If yes.. did you label them ‘ ready for consumption despite the company packaging?
Yes you can
You hav done well Dammie. hope to join you soonest
We cant wait to have you here 😊
Can't wait
So dammy Australia allow dry ground pepper
Yes, so far it is commercially packaged
Xtralarge do they do deliveries in Lagos state?
Yes
Hi just wondering where you got the labels from. Or if you made them yourself.
From printers
Thanks for this
My pleasure sis 🥰!
Hi dammie,
I hope you are well today.
I came across your vlog from a vlogger where you discussed how to migrate to Australia. You talked about ielts. Please I would like to know, can I use an ielts far back as 2018? Thanks.
From memory i think ielts only last for 3years and 2018 till date is more than 3years so i believe you need to write another one, but you can also do your research.
Very informative
Glad you liked it
Thanks for the information.. Does this mean that we can't use ziploc bags to pack food items?
Yes, correct it needs to be commercially packed.
@@dammietees
Thank you
Hi @Dammie, am surprised not to see clay in this your packages, sorry am a new sub who is interested to relocate to Aus, do they accept clays?? Am a clay eater
Not that I know of, i dont eat clay, but i am sure if you package it well they will allow it
Very interesting video sis and thank God for journey mercies...Honestly, this border security is a game of luck if I may say. I saw a recent videowhere they didn't allow grinded pepper, locust beans, bean flour, even dried leaves..pls share the link on how to get this extrlarge products and how I can get this commercial package bags....Thansk for sharing. Pls attend to my request oo. Am not on Instagram pls
GAME OF LUCK is what it truly is because some people legit get away with it. I am sure they did not allow those things because it wasn't branded or commercially packaged as they call it. Those bags are sold in most market, got mine from Lagos Island.
Thanks Dammie ❤
@@dammietees No, it’s not a game of chance. You can always contest it. The statement that it should be labelled ‘for human consumption’ is a racial remark because they feel our foods are weird. Check the shelves in any supermarket, which imported product has such written on them?
The important thing is to pack them as recommended and be sure they don’t have weevils nor worms.
I got food stuffs from the UK and they came in with ease. The ogiri had very bad smell and wasn’t labelled yet, it came in. I got fresh iru and fresh ugba too.
@@sil9458 wow this makes so much sense and i completely agree with you.
Everything I bought from the UK and America was untouched at the airport.
My brother brought stuff from Africa and most of them were trashed at the airport as they were in zip lock bags.
Pls where did u get the packaging nylon in Lagos
Lagos Island from those who sell normal nylon, if they dont have they will advise you on where to get just aleast have a picture to make the search easier
@@dammietees thank u so much
Where did you get all these packaged food items
Lagos island
Where do you get the packs to wrap your products?
Lagos island
How about red oil pls
I did not try bringing red oil but i have had people freeze it in the past, the rules change alot so not sure on this.
Heart breaking...... Yam didn't make it 😥😥😥
that was sad but not unexpected 🤣
@@dammietees 😂😂😂
RIP yam
Haaa...Garri,egusi fish..... God ooo
Only God can help us o
Are instant noodles like the ones we eat in Nigeria not available in Australia?
There are loads of them available my preference is just the Nigerian one cos of the seasoning🤣
Seems there are a lot of mosquitoes there you’re scratching.
I bet thats just allergy after the long 24hrs trip from Nigeria because there are no mosquitoes here atleast not a lot
Pls Dami can you help with an immigration lawyer or consultant to help me relocate to Australia 🇦🇺. Plssssss sis
I dont know of any personally unfortunately
Gari ke kilode
Dont mind them, they said its processed and needs to be written its for human consumption🤣
