I'm old enough to remember her music in the clubs. We were so blessed to have this kind of music then in the 70's especially the late 70's. Disco made the nightclubs come alive. What I wouldn't do to go back then in my early 20's and enjoy it all over again.
My dad and I restored the interior of an old barn on his property put in some light up floors a legit retro disco ball ect. His town has a population of about 1200 middle of no where he throws parties at his “love shack”. I didn’t really get to experience the era but I atleast got to recreate it for my high school parties lol
And don't forget that in 1978 it was legal in most states for 18 year olds to drink alcohol. We had a lot more fun than kids today, and we weren't as hung up or suffered from being so easily triggered like todays teenagers and twenty somethings.

I remember way back in my 5th grade that this song would always play in my Dad's car whenever he would pick me up from school or bring me to school. I love my Dad so much and appreciate the influence he has upon me especially when it comes to my extensive, good taste in music. I'm 24 years old now, my Dad had a stroke last 2009 but at least the left side of his body still functions well. My dad cooks, loves to sing, and makes great conversation. I'm smiling as I'm writing this because everytime we listen to good music like this, we would always be happy. Life's beauty can really be seen through the simplest of things... I thank God everyday for these wonderful blessings and the awesome memories that we share..

What made this song so great was the Sax solo by Jay Carrington Scott from a little town called Dothan, Alabama. He was the most talented sax player of all time. He was a "studio musician" when this was recorded. He has gone on to play in the big band in Heaven, but would like to see him remembered. So many musicians never get recognized for their part of truly making a song memorable. Play on Jay!

What made this song so great was the Sax solo by Jay Carrington Scott from a little town called Dothan, Alabama. He was the most talented sax player of all time. He was a "studio musician" when this was recorded. He has gone on to play in the big band in Heaven, but would like to see him remembered. So many musicians never get recognized for their part of truly making a song memorable. Play on Jay!

Great song. Ha. 20 years old here. Still discovering cool music. I grew up on 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s music. All the music nowadays has BS thrown into it and it isn’t fun or positive. Love this song!
