I didn’t really get to experience the era but I atleast got to recreate it for my high school parties lol
And don't forget that in 1978 it was legal in most states for 18 year olds to drink alcohol. We had a lot more fun than kids today, and we weren't as hung up or suffered from being so easily triggered like todays teenagers and twenty somethings.

What made this song so great was the Sax solo by Jay Carrington Scott from a little town called Dothan, Alabama. He was the most talented sax player of all time. I could play this over and over. It was in Priscilla Queen of the Desert …Fab film x
I have to say, I've gained an appreciation for certain disco songs that are dripping with soul like this one. Never cared for it as a kid, do now that I am in my 40's.
This song never gets old♡♡
What an extraordinay and unique voice !
I swear, that's the best audience i've ever seen.
Yeah they are so inspirational.
That's Amazing Jay Scott on saxophone!
Uma das canções que vai abrir a minha festa de 61 anos e me fazer voltar aos 16... I Love Alicia!
SI YES OUI
Beautiful woman, great voice and great song.
owwwww!!!!! 1978 ! I was 18 and serving in Germany! Great times in music and my youth! Great track and memories of the past!!!
The Flying Hamster
Reminiscing from South Africa 🇿🇦 Still one of my favorites!
For God's sake, people, at least show that you're alive. This woman has talent, something that's sorely lacking with today's music.
Yes
Right the folks in the audience look bored!
They were in mourning knowing this era of music was coming to a close. It was said after this performance there was not a dry eye in the audience because they knew what they had lost.
This was performed in Germany. Not the most animated people...
We used to respect the singer and really listen to them. If you want crazy then watch Woodstock
Great song. Ha. 20 years old here. Still discovering cool music. I grew up on 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s music. All the music nowadays has BS thrown into it and it isn’t fun or positive. Love this song!
It makes no difference how old you are
Want to go where the people DANCE. Great voice and most definitely a top classic.
Disco Era our time and love it.
We feel young again. Thank you!
