Glad you enjoyed it, the weather really helped and there is a lot of potential for future years. Left me wanting more and that illusive diving Osprey shot! Maybe next time!!👌👍
Thanks Adrian must admit after watching them for a good few hours they are high on my list. I remember your video photographing them on the beach. Looking forward to having g another go next August 👍 cheers mate🙏👌
Lovely vlog and images Scott👌 Totally agree with you about how much more satisfying it is to find your own locations rather than sitting in a hide baiting birds, wheres the fun in that? Look forward to more videos soon.😉
Thanks Jon, really can't wait to try this location again next year. I think there is some good potential for improving on the images I got this time! Thanks for watching👍👌
Well it looks like you have the perfect spot there Scott, along with the ideal weather and fortunate enough to see the osprey and even up close. There's nothing more exhilarating than getting the shot with a numb bum 😅, take care and catch you on the next one.
It could be really good in future years Ashley. As numbers increase we could get to a situation where they are around every corner. Really enjoyed it despite ass ache😂 have a good one mate👍
Hi Scott another top video, in a stunning location. Lovely footage and super images of the Osprey. Lovely wader shots too 😎 loving the new set up Mate 📸 see you on the next one
Nice one Scott, can't beat an Osprey and a bird I want to spend more time with next year! Sadly left it too late but I've seen a few recently. Nice 'B' roll too, can't beat some cheeky waders! You got some lovely footage of the Osprey in flight, and well done on doing it properly, away from the baited sites! Much more satisfying and tests the skills that much more, plus its infinitely more satisfying. Top stuff mate/ R
Thanks Richard I took a bit of a flyer with this one as I ended up going to a slightly different location that just looked more promising to me. If the birds are in residence next year seven hours of watching them does lead me to think I can find an even better location so will definitely be giving it a go! Its hard work mate but when it pays off there's nothing better! All the best!👌👍
Nice video! It's a bit of guessing game where they get close to you. This morning (I live in the province Groningen, the netherlands), i went to a small forrest with a few small lakes (Midwolda) to observe the waterbirds. Suddenly i saw across the lake a large bird predator. Thought it might be a buzzard. I was hidden by overhanging trees at the waterline, en when it it flew over me, i could see the outline of the bird. It was bigger than a buzzard. When i got home, i found out there was indeed an Osprey sighted the last couple of days. As soon as the weather clears up, i go back there, and look for a good spot. Already found a treetrunk above the water, across the lake today, with lots of bird droppings on it. Might be a heron spot or maybe the Osprey. While i was waiting for the Osprey returning, i also saw a kingfisher flying back and forth above the water :).
Fantastic observation! Looks like that has some potential and hopefully with a bit of luck you will be able to get some images. Presumably like here they will be heading south soon but it would be a good location to get too in the coming years👍Good luck !!👌👍And thanks for watching!
Great vid Scott. Excellent exposure, both in the video and the still shots. Maybe worth trying 4K @100/120fps in DX gives 1380 mm then frame grab in NX Studio !!. Looking forward to your next adventure . Ted. Mansfield.
Looks like you had a fabulous day …glad the birds obliged ☺️
Love the shots and the videos😊

Nice work Scott. Ospreys are one of my fav birds. Incredible hunters. The other birds were a bonus too. Cheers for sharing 👍🙏

Well done fab bird 🙂
Thanks Patrick. Really pleased to get some images as I've never photographed them before. Pretty sure with a bit more work next August I can improve😁👍
Another great video. I have to say the IQ in the two recent videos is a great step up.
That's interesting to know, it's not always easy to see for me using it👍it should be even better once I am up to speed with it👍🙏👌
Cheers Scott, good film and images. Great project, incredible birds. All the best. 👍📷😎🏴
Many thanks Rob. One I am hopeful to revisit next August and with better results. I should at least be fully competent with the z8 by then😂👍
