I just discovered I suffer from Complex PTSD due to childhood trauma. I am learning to be my own parent and this video was helpful because I realized what I lacked in my childhood, and how it is affecting me now. I will adapt my own form of play therapy for myself as an adult so that I can find who I truly am as my development has been stifled. Thank you for the work you do.

I'm amazed by the quality and effort you put in this video. This year, I'll be an English tutor at a Bilingual Academy where I live, and your content fits me just well. After all, even though parenting requires a lot more than just teaching, I believe your tips are helpful for those who work at schools as well. Appreaciate your amazing work. Thank you so much!

Can you give me name of attunement to their bodies? Thanks so much. I want to buy it for my babies.

Attunement to their bodies is just encouraging them to listen to their body signals appropriately. For example, if they say they are hungry don't say "we're having dinner in an hour, wait until then," instead say "ok let's have a snack to hold you over until dinner." Or if they're squirmy don't tell them to sit still, provide an appropriate way to take a movement break, like if you're at a fancy dinner they can take a walk to the bathroom and shake it out.
Teaching kids to ignore and suppress body signals is unfortunately very common, since not every action is appropriate in every place, but can lead to big issues down the line.
