I agree, metv toons should have a block full of cartoons based on movies like men in black, RoboCop, Rambo, the karate kid, Jumanji, the mummy, Godzilla, bill and ted, dumb and dumber, Godzilla, ace Ventura, back to the future and all dogs go to heaven and evolution
I saw the pilot for Wait Til Your Father Gets Home during a Love American Style marathon recently. Tom Bosley as the dad. Had my tonsils out in the '60s and watched Top Cat and Underdog from my hospital bed while eating ice cream or jello, I forget.
I grew up watching the Smurfs Adventures as they aired on the USA network as well as the Challenge of the Gobots and many others that aired on the USA Cartoon Express
Wait till Your Father Gets Home is a tamer cartoon version of All in the Family. Another cartoon that tried to be like All in the Family was The Barkleys.
This, some of the cartoons I grew up with (reruns in the 90's/00's like Top Cat, etc) and I never watched Smurfs and many others, but both types of cartoons are on my "to watch list".
I love the 1980s series of the smurfs. Wasn't too fond of the last season of the series when it revolved around the smurfs trapped traveling through time and never making back to their own time, however it was enjoyable.
1' jonny quest , 2' top cat , 3' wait till your father gets home 4' freakazoid , 5' the old black and white 1930's early 40's felix the Cat, 6' Ignats mouse and krazy kat , 7' animal farm
You should talk about movies on METV TOONS like they're making a plan to bring movies back but this time it's going to be on MeTV for the first time ever so you should talk about The Flintstones meet the Jetsons and the man who called Flintstone because people never heard about Like me simple I never heard about two movies and I've been waiting for a long time heck there's going to be The Flintstones Christmas Carol the movie coming soon when we saw hits on the website That Will be good idea
It's a shame xfinity in Modesto won't be getting this channel, and I don't have a subscription to Frndly TV. If I did get MeTV Toons over there, I'd most likely watch it for Inspector Gadget, Captain Planet and the Planeteers, Freakazoid, Jonny Quest and Speed Racer.
Another show I just now remembered: WHERE’S HUDDLES? It had a brief broadcast in the summer of 1969 (or was it 1970). About a football player and his family, if i remembered correctly.
@animalsandlegos4525 i agree with wacky underdog which was a childhood fav rocky and bullwinkle and beetlejuice i never seen thw real ghostbusters but look forward to checking them out on metv toons
Rocky and Bullwinkle is a classic. Love seeing that again. Mr. Peabody and Sherman, Dudley-Do-Right, and Aesop and Son were my favorite segments of the show.
I'm super excited for June 25th to see me. T v toons The one that I wanna see the most. It's gotta be come. The Bugs bunny show the one that I wanna see everyone talk about is baby loom tunes
I remember watching Wait Till Your Father Gets Home on Cartoon Network back in the day. I'm showing my age already. It's a great show. Not very similar to today's adult animations. A bit more mature than that. Compare it to King of the Hill instead.
I can't wait for this channel to launch, there are a lot of cartoons I want to watch, but there is one show I hope someday will be on METV Toons and thats Swat Kats, I know this show only ran for 2 seasons but it was a great show, and if this show will be on the channel it could run it on weekends.
i enjoy top cat smurfs and wacky races i never heard of the other two u mentiioned but i look forward to checking them on on metv toons 18 more days im counting down
