I can't wait until MeTV Toons acquires more classic programming, like The Superfriends, Tarzan Lord of the Jungle, Terrytoons, etc. Right now, this is just the beginning with more to come as the network progresses!!!
Bad news, MeTV Toons is not on DirecTV at launch. It sucks that DirecTV in my area doesn’t carry MeTV Toons, just regular MeTV. DirecTV needs to expand sub channels in the future. Too bad, I’m stuck with Boomerang.
There are cartoons that I haven't seen in ages like "Gigantor" or "The 8th Man" or "Prince Planet" that I'd love to see. "Rocket Robin Hood" and the old "Spider-Man" of the 1960's. Not sure if we'll see any of those but it would be cool. Best bet to watch the channel if it isn't on cable is Frndly. Antenna is an option. But, from the website it's being broadcast from low power stations it seems. I certainly won't be able to pick up my local version of it - as I've never seen that station in my life. I tried scanning for channels but no luck. So, it won't be free.
You and me both! It was bad enough that Xfinity stop carrying Boomerang in May 2019. I do hope Xfinity will carry it this Tuesday. If not I'll definitely be pissed off.
Only 1 day and a few hours to go. Will you be up early in the morning tomorrow, with breakfast cereal and candy to try capture that Saturday morning childhood spirit?
So much programs from Cartoon Network/Boomerang (2 Stupid Dogs, Atom Ant, Duck Dodgers, Ed Grimley, Josie and the Pussycats, Mr. T, Underdog, Wait Till Father Gets Home, Yogi Bear Show, Yogi's Gang, Yogi's Space Race, Galaxy Goof-Ups, The New Yogi Bear Show, Yogi's Treasure Hunt, Yo! Yogi), some shows from local syndication (Rocky and Bullwinkle, Police Academy: The Animated Series and Marine Boy), USA Network (Challenge of the GoBots), The Family Channel (Alf: The Animated Series and Alf Tales), Kids' WB (Histeria!), Fox Family Channel (The Mask: The Animated Series), The WB 100 Plus Station Group (Beetlejuice), Speed Network (Speed Racer), Fearnet (The Real Ghostbusters) and Qubo (Inspector Gadget) as well as direct-to-video (The Greatest Adventure: Stories From the Bible).
I can't wait I'm from the Dayton area and I had to call my local affiliate to see if we can get it and they said that they would look into it immediately they look into it call me back and told me that yes we will be able to add the network it's coming in as a whole new channel in the Dayton area and I'm really really excited. I love how it's not going to be like a marathon a cartoon it's going to be updated almost every week
Am looking forward to MeTV toons starting tomorrow. Kids today don't know what good cartoons are; all they know are junk cartoons like The Adventures Of Billy And Mandy, The Powderpuff Girls, etc. I watched the old cartoons on Saturday mornings growing up. Sadly, Saturday morning cartoons are a thing of the past.
For the Detroit Michigan is not available on regular over-the-air TV but it's available on certain providers but if you got a good enough antenna you might be able to pick it up because apparently it's available in Flint Michigan and Grand Rapids Michigan I cannot wait until they decided to bring it to my area because I am slightly out of the signal range compared to some relatives
@@Blackdog57 Interesting. Guessing then if you use cable you don't use the antenna much. You're certainly limited then to OTA reception with the combination of the indoor antenna and (perhaps) the number of trees.
I don't think that's possible due to legalities. The ownership of the show was split between Marvel Comics and Hanna-Barbera. The Walt Disney Company purchased Marvel Comics in late 2009. It is quite unlikely that Warner Bros. Discovery will release The Fantastic Four on any physical nor digital format, including the Boomerang app. Prior to 2009, the show re-ran on Cartoon Network in the 1990s and on Boomerang in 2000. It never ran again after Disney’s ownership acquired Fox Kids Worldwide that has full rights to Marvel content. Time Warner ended distribution rights to Fantastic Four
I will limit myself in watching MeTV Toons because there is no Superfriends nor Batman and Superman The Animated Series. Also No Space Ghost and Compay either!👎🏽

Yes, Terrytoons need to be on this channel. There's so many cartoons I really need to see for the first time.
If MeTV Toons Comes on xfinity then they’ll just add it to the lineup for something great

MeTVToons I want you to bring Dastardly and Muttley in their flying Machines 😢😢 that would be nice.
I wonder if you bring Walt Disney Cartoons too.
I’m sad that the interview is not happening anymore
still I’m excited for this channel
and I hope this channel do good

I hope eventually He-Man gets added.
I haven't watched He-Man on the are since the qubo night owl block. It would be pretty cool for it to go back on the air.
Yep, Universal owns He-Man & The Masters of the Universe. MeTV Toons includes all animated programs owned by Universal, too!!!
I don't understand why a cable company that already has MeTV can't get MeTV Toons. This is my location situation.
I wish METV Toons will be broadcast on cable in Savannah tomorrow
It's like Saturday morning...Every day!
As someone who grew up with Saturday morning cartoons, This is Something!
The channel launched today, and I really hope it does good!
😊 I bet Metv Toons will be arrived on June 25th on Philo.
It will
So Many cartoons!
It's Awesome!
All of the old favorites!!
😄👍
I hope this channel comes on Xfinity.

@@MrDonCoyote Hard to say.
I Hope Pluto TV Tubi The Roku Channel Samsung TV Plus and Plex TV Get It
Highly unlikely. Those services specialize in their own type of programming.
If they do, it'll be a very limited "fast" version of the channel

Almost like the U.S.'s version of the old Teletoon Retro, in a sense!!!

Keep me posted on that, too- just in case, it would be nice if Pluto TV could add MeTV Toons to its channel lineup!!!
@@michaelpowell5266 I will
I hope they have " The Space Kidettes and the Wacky Races reboot.
MeTV Toons doesn't air the reboot of Wacky Races, only the original 1969

The hell are you talking about. Those are the two WORST examples for junk cartoons ever.
However, everyone is entitled to their own opinion.

I'm super excited for this and have been counting down the time sense I heard about it over 40 days ago
That’s way beyond great news for people who are fed up with the rest of the predictable garbage in which they’re so used to putting up with nonstop.
Final thought: their fight with Comcast did not resolve. Still no Toons for me.
Eventually, satellite TV WILL add this channel before long!
I can't even get Metv on my antenna so I REALLY hope Metv Toons goes to Spectrum cable. 🙏🙏
I can get MeTV Toons because I can able to get WMBP-LD (Telemundo, translator of Fox 10 (WALA), AND Outlaw) through an antenna.
Wait -- do you have an antenna? Why do you mention Spectrum then? It's hard to have an antenna and not get MeTV.
@Lightsngear I have both, it's an indoor antenna and I'm in apartment with trees al around 😡
@@Blackdog57 Interesting. Guessing then if you use cable you don't use the antenna much. You're certainly limited then to OTA reception with the combination of the indoor antenna and (perhaps) the number of trees.
@Lightsngear yeah antenna is a back up for my locals

I would love to see Underdog
Can't wait for this
Don't forget The Groovy Gouly's
Hope they show the fantastic 4 of 1967

Fortunately, I've those on DVD, but you're right- MeTV Toons should add D.C. heroes to its schedule!!!
"I'm not gonna watch this channel cause they won't show what I want." You're gonna miss out on a lot of good stuff.
