It amazes me that it still stands... well done! Rod.
me too cheers
Such a shame to see it in such disrepair, hopefully the redevelopment can happen. Thanks for sharing!!!
I hope so too! cheers
A building like this could not be abandoned.
so true hope all gets redeveloped
That is kind of sad to see such a beautiful old building rotting away. We have many such buildings from the last century... Thanks for the aerial view... Be well...
It sure is hopefully plans for it soon
The drone shot did a nice job documenting that old building.
thanks so much for watching
Thanks, Rodpiker! We have a nice old mill like this on one of our local Trout Rivers, they turned part of it into a lovely Irish Pub. I am praying it survives this Covid business.
cheers i hope it gets a new purpose
An excellent flight giving beautiful views of this old mill and lovely surroundings. I enjoyed to the end and gave you a well deserved thumbs up. Thank you for sharing my friend.
Glad you enjoyed it cheers David
Such a beautiful building....it does look as tho the top floor has been partially restored, with new windows and glass, so hopefully it will be saved!👍 great flying 👏
thanks so much for watching yes a new roof was put on the mill a while back to protect it from the weather

Very nice. That was some cool shots of the state of decay the building is in. The broken windows and the greenery overtaking the walls. 👍🏼
Thank you very much!
good upload my friend, like it. so lucky to capture horses too
Thanks so much for watching cheers
Wonderful Flight, Rod. Thank you for sharing the Old Linen Mill Co. It is a shame they the building has fallen into disrepair. This site will hopefully be brought back to life, as you mentioned-such a lovely setting. Nicely Done, Ron, and the soundtrack was quite fitting. You take care.
Many thanks! Steve for your feedback and comments
You made a good job of showing that Rob with some lovely angles. You don’t often see permissions being given so that was good of them. Just think of the thousands of people who must have worked that mill. I wonder if any of them are still with us. There are some memories in that place for sure 👍
Days gone by if walls could talk Ken i would say there is a few people around still that worked in the mill i hope the owners get the plans passed and breath new life into the old mill.
fantastic, what a place .. and it was once full of life, good job mate !
Thanks a lot!

Hi Rod. Such a beautiful and grand structure. I certainly hope it is restored for some type of use. A wonderful flight and mix of footage. A pleasure to watch my friend. Thanks for sharing and have a wonderful day.
I hope so too cheers
Hello Rodney, great flying, and filming. That was a big mill. Just like the mills in Ireland closing, because of low cost manufacturing in Asia.
The same thing happened in the southern U.S. Most of them here were torn down. The one you flew is a very large one. I flew one myself about a year ago. I think most of the closings were in the 80's here. Have a good week. mike
Thanks 👍 Mike so true thanks so much for your great feedback and comments

Amazing aerial archeology! Beautiful flight. We have a lot of mill buildings that look very similar. Most have been converted into trendy, upscale apartments, but the exteriors are preserved. Nice, smooth flying.

Amazing footage My friend 👍🏼😊 Well captured 👍👍👍👍👍have lovely weekend 👌

Rod, a great view of such an important part of our industrial heritage. An enormous building and you could picture 2,000 people working there. Loved the close up shots of the building with the random panes of glass still intact, the ivy working its way over the brickwork and the birds that have taken up residence coming and going. Hopefully the structure of the building will remain with apartments being built.
thanks so much gerry for your great comments and feedback . i am so sorry to hear about the Mourne mountains over the last few days and how devastating the fire was.
Rod, it looked pretty bad and sounds like it was deliberate for whatever reason. I am sure it will take a long time for the area to recover.
Great flying around the Linen Mill, and detailed script. Thank you very much for sharing it!
Many thanks!
So beautiful flight my friend! 👍 Have a wonderful weekend

Thank you for bringing it to our view!
Any time!
great photography,napakaganda ng lugar.
thanks so much
I knew it well at one time. I was born in Banbridge just a few miles away. It is massive. The linen industry was massive but it's all gone now along with all our traditional bread and butter industries. All gone to the Far East. I ofetn wonder wh the people were that worked there and what happened to them and their communities after they lost their jobs. Excellent footage RDUK!
so True Tom great history and if the walls could talk cheers thanks so much for watching and for your support
Wow! That was a very larger operation for it's day. I hope the new owners can make the renovation. See you in the Air!
I hope so too! cheers

You always pick the perfect music for your videos. This mill looks cool and a tad eerie. It'll be interesting to see again when it's spruced up.
Thank you very much! cheers
That building could tell a story or two. Some great archival footage captured there Rod
Prior to the redevelopment which will add some much-needed regeneration to the area
it will be great to see it in use again Andrew
Beautiful shots! Great job.

Another wonderful video, Rod! Buildings, even derelict ones, always look more impressive from the air. Love the close in shots, towards the end of the video, looking through the broken windows. Stay safe! Ian :-)
