Having lived in Rostrevor, Newry, Warrenpoint, Belfast, and Banbridge, I enjoyed this video a lot. Up Down as my granny would say every summer, especially in 91 and 94.
My home county!
Always so well researched and informative. Thanks a lot! I hope all else is well at your end.
Thanks! These are my favourite videos to make so I'm looking forward to making Dublin next.
Thanks for this posting. M family go way back in and around Ardglass and Downpatrick area.... Beatiful country side and people. Gotta ❤ County Down. Slaine
Downpatrick i can see from my window
Just found this series...really interesting and comprehensive, thanks
After you've done the counties I'd love to see videos on the country towns and major cities and an overview of their main historical events and legends associated with the areas nearby. Great video and I love discovering more about places I thought I knew but after watching your videos realise that there so much more to learn!!!
Thanks! That will be a long way away but I have had that idea in the back of my head for a while.
Great to see this channel growing, great content lad keep it up.
Thank you!
Up Down!!! 😊
Have you ever been up to County Down? (Sorry for the mistake with the map at 8:17)
Yes I have a few times
live there
I have indeed!
I live in Kircubbin on the Ards Peninsula. Near the start, with Burr Point, you can see Glastry College. My friend goes there!
Pls continue these
I certainly will! I'm really looking forward to making the Dublin episode next.
I was born in county down but grew up in gurensey
You've really hit your strides with these, each one is better than the last! Keep up the good work.
Thank you! I'm looking forward to making Dublin next.
'Down with this sort of thing'
Careful now!
YAYY!!
Gotta love it when there's a new Geography World video on a certain county
Do Louth please!
Idk why i would watch this living in down my whole life
Finally get to see my Home City mentioned on UA-cam, DUNDEE, just out of curiosity, have you been to Dundee?
Dundee isnt the only Dun in Scotland, theres also the city of Dunfermline and the towns of Dunkeld, Dunbar, and Dunblane, Dum and Dun are used interchangeably e.g. Dumbarton and Dumfries
In the Scottish borders we have ancrum the bend ,lussedden flower banking st.boswells ARCHILDUN,earlston or arrow castle ,nach neonach a tha e ,strange isn't it.
Just like aber in wales.over twenty townsand aberdeen in scotland.from eber.(hi bernia).adescendant of shem noahs son.the blessed bloodline.
To make this way easier to follow, you should've explained just counties then cities after in order of the county's you just explained.
yes yes yes I love u
County Tyrone is missing.
I've been going through them all in preparation for a grand tour.
If any other is also missing, I'll let you know.
I've only done 9 of the 32 counties so far, including 4 of the 6 counties of Northern Ireland.
Go raibh mile maith agat x
The Russell's and Rowleys of County Down five miles south of Belfast. My grandmother had her 22 acres of farmland was taken by the British when she was 10 years old. She told me to get it back from them when I grew up. Maybe I can. I want to try. I definitely will try harder if Trump becomes President again. Right now I'm at a research stage to pinpoint where they actually were. My dad tried in 1955. My older brother tried in the 1980s. My turn.😊
Also dn.would be dan.what happened over time this was forgotten.so became dun.din.den
The giant's ring good old dogging spot.😆
My last name is Dunn. Do you think my ancestors came from County Down?
So’s mine and I’m from down so you might be on to something
8:17 lol what the hell
Sorry for the mistake with the map.

@@spiralmapping9899 Thanks. I found it on Atlas Obscura. Unfortunately it doesn't exist anymore.
I have no idea which part of Ireland you're from, from your 'accent', I'm guessing, somewhere in Sasna? 🤨
I'm from Cork but my voice always sounds a bit strange when I'm recording.
Befor❤e bronze age calcol zarah etc may have usd paleo hebrew language.before israelites exodus.this had no vowels.so down would be dwn.you get this in wales.e.g.cwm.
Has this guy got a speech impediment or is it my ears?

@@GeographyWorld Ahhhh! I thought it had a touch of Cork. :-)
