Lots of good catches and it's always great to see these locations. Plockton fades to scenes in the movie, good at harbour masters! tresspassing! lol can’t believe he’s in scotland, i felt the same way. yes, good catch on the plockton hotel and man riding the horse. good match on the garden on the main street - close enough… Sannachan, good establishing shot of harbour master’s after library seems like was taken at little garden seen just before 6:56! culzean castle garden seen before Howie arrives arch, lots of behind the scenes ftg of there? I don't know of any... 11:12 excellent, Mrs Grimmonds!! Thank you!! The ftg was shot but cut, sadly. Castle Kennedy 12:00 It looks like you are walking on the path used for some of the procession shots! just before 11:52 is where Howie was attacked with tongs by Miss Rose, Willow and the registrar 11:52 looks like where earlier procession shots were done, shot from that slight ridge right next to it. yes, you are at the right spot for the fire dance. Looks like it has had additional trees added since then, making the circle smaller. But maybe not. Maybe they just avoided shooting them. Nice shot of the beginning of the procession. So many of the locations haven’t changed. It’s wonderful. 21:10 Cordyline Avenue, where they started walking to the beach, yes. 22:20 Gatehouse of Fleet 22:54 yup 23:13 yes, house with skull bollards loud birds!! I noticed that too when I was in Scotland touring Wicker Man sites. 24:49 the pharmacy (and Dr Ewans, a scene only in the Director’s Cut…) 25:49 Anwoth version you had never saw inside church??? All do. yes, it is surreal to be there 28:29 Whithorn 30:06 Nice to see the back of 59 George St 31:10 Kirkcudbright 31:44 See the wiki for which alleyways/closes were used. (twm.fandom.com/wiki/Locations_-_Kirkcudbright) 33:04 Yes, that was used too… 34:18 Good match 35:24 Yup 3:06 The Final Cut begins in the church… 37:30 St Ninian’s cave (start of walk) Nice to get up close to it. 45:07 Burrow Head, at shorter man site, walks down to it. 47:15 pics, man against stump (wickermanpilgramage.com), cut down and sold for a movie? never heard that. 49:40 I think you are pointing it at the holes where the hero man stood. (49:57) You see the hole right beyond the plaque? That looks like one of the holes… The dead tree was straight ahead but closer to the cliffs. The cave they came out of is off to the right. 52:14 I think the place they came out of is to the left… It’s not beyond that fence. 54:33! Another wicker man, I have seen the sculpture before.
