Great job Alex! Want to weld the same just put inside the Ikea Helmer metal cabinet like into a cell). One question though: you drill machine is really heavy and I mine is a little bit lighter but not less than 80 kilos nevertheless - are the wheels are really useful to move the stand around the shop?
It works but it's not a good solution if you want to move it constantly. I only need those if I have to do something at the back of the drillpress. So maybe once a year.
5:15 “I welded them in an order where there won’t be a lot of warping.” You mean you “welded them in an order to counter warping” because there will be a lot of warping!
Thanks Alex, looks great.
You and I have a different interpretation of Drill Press :)
It's not the first comment about that. What's the other interpretation? English is not my first language and I wasn't able to find another meaning ;)
Good work!!
Came out great ! That looks like one heavy drill press
Damn, that looks good!
*Great job 👍* your workshop looks tiny as mine 😂
The room is 4,1m x 2,7m and 2m high. Not that big indeed :)
Cool! And nice music! It's Wintengatan?
Right it's from Wintergatan :)

I was thinking drill press - then I saw he meant a DRILL PRESS.
Do I hear music from Martin Molin from wintergatan??
Right it's Sandviken Stradivarius.
